19/07/2026: €4.50 for a Perrier with lemon syrup! Living in the area, I was out for a ride on my motorcycle a few days ago. Deciding to stop for a refreshing drink, I was asked €4.50 for a Perrier with lemon. (It wasn't actually Perrier, but sparkling water). The same glass this morning in Tautavel cost €2.70. ⚠️ To the managers: Just because you see a new customer doesn't mean they're a tourist. In short, I obviously don't recommend it, I'll never stop there again, and this isn't going to be good publicity.

14/09/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. If I could give zero stars, I would. I got traveler's diarrhea for two weeks because of the food in this restaurant. And on top of that, there's a waiter who's very tall and thin, I think around 40 or 45 years old, who's absolutely awful. He has no manners, speaks incredibly rudely, and is disrespectful to the customers. Disgusting! Stay away.

21/08/2026: Excellent service and very good products; after buying numerous pastries, I was absolutely not disappointed. I highly recommend going there with a baguette, which stayed fresh despite the late hour I bought it.

18/08/2026: It was marked as open but it was closed… at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18th

01/08/2026: Incredibly good bakery with a wide selection of bread and pastries... also salads and quiche.

22/08/2026: We arrived at 8:20 am for a full lunch for two. The waitress, sitting on the terrace smoking a cigarette, coldly informed us that it wasn't possible to sit on the terrace as the restaurant didn't open until 8:30 am. Thanks for the welcome! So we left... a shame, as it meant wasting several meals that went elsewhere.

17/08/2026: I think the pizzas were frozen and the crepes were in a bag; honestly, I felt ripped off.

18/08/2026: We were very disappointed. The staff were not at all welcoming and were unpleasant. If you don't love your passion for a restaurant, there's really no point in continuing in this industry. The service was extremely slow, and taking our order was just as slow. The menu listed cuttlefish à la plancha, but unfortunately, the cuttlefish was cooked in water; it was really not good at all. The dishes were very greasy. And finally, watch out for the bill at the end! Luckily, we checked it; we were going to pay double. We won't be going back.

13/08/2026: Back in 2025, we had already made a reservation, but when we arrived, it wasn't what we wanted—mussels and fries—but paella. So we left empty-handed, without any apology from the person who greeted us. In 2026, we booked a table for four for 7 pm. We arrived at 7 pm and left at 10 pm. Luckily, the mussels were fresh, which was a relief being by the sea. For an aperitif, we had bottled sangria; the Lidl brand is even better. The fries were frozen, and as for dessert, let's not even talk about it: a pre-made fruit salad in a bucket that tasted like nothing at all. We couldn't even tell if we were eating fruit or some kind of weird juice. The staff was not pleasant at all. So, if you're thinking of eating there, turn around and leave quickly. Avoid it.

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

04/06/2026: I absolutely loved my dinner here! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was a highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!

18/09/2026: A pint of Pelforth with a bitter taste, reminiscent of a keg that had run its course or a poorly cleaned tap. A shandy with no beer flavor. The waitress was warned, but no replacement was offered. We left without finishing our drinks, and after paying for them. Disappointing service. I had a Pelforth on tap an hour later at another bar. The comparison is undeniable. And as a beer enthusiast myself, I know perfectly well the taste of the beers I drink and serve. Sincerely.

10/02/2026: One of the oldest breweries at the entrance to the pedestrian street. 5 minutes from the station. 2 minutes from the “Chénier” bus stop. A place where you feel good… Go there and give me some news.

25/01/2026: We stopped for lunch as we were passing through because we had a 4-hour drive ahead of us... my partner ordered cassoulet and I had prawns, and we both got sick... The cassoulet was sour, the sausage had a strange smell, the prawns were overcooked and tasteless—in short, change your kitchen... a disgrace to French gastronomy... incomprehensible and unacceptable, because the point of going to a restaurant is not to get sick. Please check your kitchen.

25/08/2026: Very good, we ate there as a family with the children; the crepes and waffles were absolutely delicious.

31/03/2026: €7 for a Desperados beer that sells for €1.20 at Carrefour, and not even a glass, straight from the bottle! Even on the Champs-Élysées it's not that expensive! I understand that bars need to make a profit, but this... is that serious?
