04/07/2025: This is a hidden gem in Marseilles. We were starving (nothing is open between the hours of 3 and 7 in this town and we didn’t know that when we took a day trip here). The owner opened her kitchen and fed our family. She was so kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely homemade and fantastic quality. Absolutely worth the visit- especially if you want quality food, exceptional service, and to feel right at home with a beautiful view.

10/07/2025: We didn't book, but we found a warm welcome and a seat at this popular restaurant, which was packed! We had two children, and it wasn't a problem. The staff is very friendly and the location is sublime. The portions are plentiful, and the mussels and fries were delicious 🤤 I highly recommend it!

09/01/2026: A completely different experience from the one I had 6 months ago. This time, the owner was as welcoming as ever, and the homemade food, prepared practically right before your eyes, was delicious. As luck would have it, the chef shared a frangipane galette with homemade puff pastry with us – a real treat! I'll be back.

26/12/2025: We ate at "Chez Charlotte" on a friend's recommendation and were more than satisfied with our evening. The storefront is unassuming, but it hides a very friendly and welcoming place, just like the service. The food is remarkable and well-balanced. The sea bass fillet was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were excellent. Thank you for a lovely time.

Look no further: La Table du Chef, in La Rouvière (Marseille 13009), is the place not to be missed! A warm and passionate team welcomes you with a smile, whether in the dining room or on the terrace, to introduce you to refined cuisine prepared daily with fresh ingredients. We went on Saturday evening: starter, main course, dessert for only €45. A wonderful welcome, unique expertise... In short, a place you absolutely must try! Access: Upon entering La Rouvière, the restaurant is on your left, near the pond and the "Les Petits Chaperons Rouges" daycare center.

23/01/2026: Maybe it was just an off day… in any case, very disappointed. The cheese pizza was swimming in grease, the salad was dripping with oil. It felt like I'd swallowed half a liter of oil, my stomach was in knots. (And yet I love raclette and other hearty dishes!) I was also disappointed with the service: impatient waiters, 45 minutes to serve the pizza (barely apologetic), change thrown on the table, the waiter annoyed by the lack of space between the tables (we were practically glued to each other)… €24 for the pizza (just tomato and cheese) - €5 for the curly endive salad on the side. An institution? Really?

06/01/2026: Very nice spot! Servers are funny and the food is really tasty. Some stuff on the menu is overpriced in my opinion. You can only pay in cash too.

28/10/2025: Congratulations to the chef for today's dish of the day! The curried zucchini gratin with the mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!

28/10/2025: Hello, my partner, my children, and I stopped at this little restaurant where we ate, and it was simply delicious. We ordered the chicken pasta and the gorgonzola pasta. The portions were very generous and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef! We were pleasantly surprised. We'll be back.

18/08/2024: It was a fabulous time that we spent in the Patio restaurant (small restaurant in a small street parallel to Cours Mirabeau), the warm welcome and very professional advice. The decor is original and gives the impression of being in a very cozy village square. The cuisine is delicious and generous (thanks for the doggy bags). We enjoyed chatting with the manager and his partner, who were very kind. I will just repeat one word: GO FOR IT! GO FOR IT! GO FOR IT! we know where we will go to eat next time we are in Aix-en-Provence

21/11/2024: The superb and quite hearty Gardianne of bull is really not expensive, 16 Euros. All other restaurants. Including the one opposite at least 20% more. Service and sympathy in addition.... 4 people dishes + drinks 80th.
