23/11/2025: Excellent dinner at Aldo's. The fisherman's stew was a particular favorite. The dishes were generous and delicious. The service was pleasant. Excellent value for money!

11/11/2025: A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness! Despite being fully booked on a Sunday lunchtime, they went out of their way to welcome us and let us enjoy some delicious tapas-style appetizers between noon and 1:30 pm, before the arrival of the customers with reservations. The dishes were all beautifully prepared, with a special mention for the garlic salad, which reminded me of my grandmother's ❤️. The setting is simply wonderful, a lovely atmosphere where you feel right at home. We will gladly return to try the superb bouillabaisse, beautifully presented at the next table—and of course, to savor the pizzas when the pizza chef is back! 21/11/2025: As occasional guests of Vallon de Gayet for over thirty years, I unfortunately hadn't been back for far too long due to lack of time. This oversight was rectified last weekend, and what a joy it was to rediscover this fantastic place, where a flood of memories came rushing back. Delphine and William run it masterfully, having expanded and modernized this wonderful establishment while miraculously preserving its essence and spirit. The cuisine is always delicious and wonderfully authentic, the breakfasts are of unparalleled simplicity and quality, and what can I say about the welcome and service, except that you feel like you're visiting dear family members. A huge thank you to this entire caring team, and especially to Delphine and William, for allowing me to experience a truly wonderful birthday, filled with memories of all our beloved departed. See you very soon!

29/01/2026: The place has a rustic, cozy feel; I recommend it. Unfortunately, the hot water isn't always very hot. The desserts are like oversized macarons, rather hard and sticky.

The box of 13 Provençal desserts with the Sainte Victoire mountain on the lid is a marvel. A perfect gift for yourself, family, or friends. Bravo to all the teams who make this possible 🤩. 09/12/2025: I came to eat alone at the beginning of service. They made it very clear that I was inconveniencing them because they had to clear a plate. The worst part is, I had just taken the last bite of my meal when they cleared my plate and asked me if I wanted dessert... how am I supposed to answer when my mouth is full? For your information, it was with the most mature waitress that I had these behavioral issues.

02/12/2025: Not good! Simply not good, reheated food, not real cooking. Bare minimum service, without a smile. In short, go somewhere else, at least we didn't get sick. ^^

29/11/2025: The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly—you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The meat was cooked exactly as requested, very tender, and the sauce was delicious. The atmosphere is convivial and the dining room is clean.

22/11/2025: Fantastic restaurant. The staff were lovely, with several thoughtful touches throughout the meal that were truly delightful. The set menu dish with the secret sauce was exceptional. The duck breast was also absolutely delicious. In short, a place full of surprises that I highly recommend.

20/01/2026: Ogustus is one of the few restaurants in Aix-en-Provence where the years go by but the quality remains. After a long break, I returned for lunch and rediscovered the chef's skill and the quality of the ingredients. The confit pork is so good you could eat it with a spoon; the shredded beef was calling my name, so I won't wait to come back! Friendly service is an added bonus. Don't hesitate!
