12/07/2026: Tucked away on a quiet street in Les Milles, you wouldn't expect to find such a lovely restaurant with a charming exterior. The staff is very welcoming, and the dishes are homemade. The fish and meat are excellent. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality. There's free parking nearby.

25/01/2026: Deceptive business practices and unjustified prices. Avoid at all costs: this establishment exploits the lack of competition to trap customers. It capitalizes on its proximity to the theater to charge exorbitant prices with complete impunity. The experience was surreal. With no non-alcoholic or sugar-free drinks available, we opted for an herbal tea. They then tried to charge us a €4 "hot drink surcharge after 5 pm"! We had to ask for the menu and check for ourselves to discover that the actual surcharge was €0.80. A billing "error" that is nothing short of a blatant rip-off. I sincerely feel for the waitress who seemed to be struggling, caught between high-pressure sales tactics and understandably exasperated customers. Don't be fooled by the location; walk a little further and spend your money at an honest restaurant.

24/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! We went there after a show because it was the closest bar, and the evening turned into a disaster… Dry January being what it is, I ordered two non-alcoholic beers (priced at €6 each, no less!), but they were out of everything except one that wasn't cold. So we ended up ordering a crepe (€5) and an herbal tea (€4.20), and when it came time to pay, the waitress told me it was €13 and that there was a surcharge on hot drinks after 5 pm. Seriously, who does that, considering it's not a bar but a restaurant and they don't offer anything else without alcohol or sugar? We were a large group, everyone paid for their drinks, and at the end, the waitress told us that €39 was missing from the bill. We checked the whole bill again and realized they had added extra drinks. But they wouldn't listen, and we had to pay for their rip-off. And to top it all off, being honest, I checked the menu to see where the mistake might have been, and I saw that the surcharge for hot drinks was €0.80. I had to show them that I'd been charged €13 and that they'd charged me €8 for an herbal tea before they'd even bother to give me a refund. In short, this place is a disgrace, and these people should be punished for ripping off customers like this.

01/07/2026: I stayed at this establishment when it was booked for a private birthday party. Excellent service, excellent meal, excellent evening.

25/06/2026: Be sure to ask about prices, otherwise he'll overcharge. A glass of champagne was €19, a surprise on the bill. When I told him that even in a 3-star restaurant it's €12, he was condescending. In short, the food is good, but he doesn't hesitate to rip me off. His response: "You don't have the correct bill. I'm not a competitor, and I assure you that you charged me €19 for the glass of champagne when you said it was €14.50." Otherwise, I admit the menus are good. I've been several times in recent years, but I won't be back. Sincerely

05/07/2026: The cuisine is consistently refined, sophisticated, and beautifully presented. One drawback: upon arrival, we were immediately asked to order, our starter was served, and our aperitif wasn't finished. Our coffee was served at the same time as our dessert, so we had to eat it cold (without even asking us to have it served with dessert!). They were cleaning the adjacent tables with a very strong-smelling product while we were enjoying our dessert. We were brought the bill without having asked for it, barely after we'd finished our coffee. It's a shame, the organization is lacking.

It was 1:30pm and apparently he was not serving anymore… Go to L’Incontournable 2 mins walk away and you will be treated like a king with outstanding dishes.

20/05/2026: I don't mean to be disrespectful to Alexandre Mazzia, but I wanted to share our recent dinner with friends at AM. Every year, we treat ourselves to the great pleasure of experiencing haute French cuisine in the best restaurants while visiting our beautiful country. The AM experience was disconcerting. First, the location and setting didn't live up to the refinement we expect from this type of restaurant (cramped space, appetizers served on inverted glasses, wooden tables, etc.). As for the "journeys" offered, I must say I was completely lost! Too many flavors, and with no real connection between them. While I was won over by some of them, the sweet bites (desserts) completely baffled me! The banana, sweet potato, etc. theme, referencing the chef's African childhood, turned out to be mediocre. Furthermore, I found it utterly inappropriate to offer an optional "cheese" course as an extra charge on top of an already expensive menu! Then, in the middle of your meal, comes the sudden and bitter reminder of the price of this gastronomy! Finally, given the cramped quarters, having to pay your (hefty) bill amidst other customers only reinforces the feeling that this Marseille institution has room for improvement!
