30/06/2026: We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant during a visit to my in-laws. The welcome was incredibly warm. The cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients, is excellent. The chef is truly remarkable. The welcome and service are characterized by smiles and kindness. We had such a wonderful time that we returned for lunch two days later. It was another truly delightful experience. We highly recommend making a reservation to enjoy a most enjoyable meal. Sylvie and Hervé.

16/06/2026: The atmosphere was simple and welcoming, and the daily special (veal spider steak) was delicious and generous. The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. I recommend it and will definitely return.

17/05/2026: A new, high-level gastronomic experience awaits at La Villa Madie. The technical mastery, the quality of the ingredients, and the exquisite presentation remain remarkable. However, we found the same pigeon and chocolate dessert this year as on our previous visit, which might give a slight impression of repetition for regular customers. The skill and balance of flavors quickly make us forget this minor drawback. Next year, we'll definitely be checking out the "A l'an que ven!" menu.

28/05/2026: Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The location is 5min walk from the train station, and 5min walk to the central area of Aix. It’s definitely located in a quiet area, but there’s a pharmacy, convenience store, and bakery right across the street. The pool was a nice touch for the hot days there.

This small, intimate restaurant, seating around twenty, is run with passion by a couple: the wife manages the dining room with great kindness and professionalism, while the husband is in the kitchen. The welcome is particularly warm, the setting is beautiful, and the service is impeccable from start to finish. As for the dishes, they are generous, flavorful, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. You can immediately taste the pleasure of homemade food and the love for their craft in every plate. A big thank you to them for this delicious and convivial experience. We will gladly return! 😊🍽️

07/05/2026: I regularly go to Au Bureau, but yesterday there was a match. When I made my reservation, they asked me if I was there for the game, but even though I said no, our table of 12 was in the middle of the fans, which was quite unbearable. We asked to be seated on the terrace, but they claimed there were too many of us, even though we were able to sit there without any problem when we left. This restaurant has two dining rooms; why not prioritize the smaller room for those who aren't there for the matches? This won't stop me from coming back, but not on a match night.

I absolutely do not regret eating here, and I only have one regret: having to go back because I couldn't eat all 4 choices at once. I really would have liked to eat everything!

05/07/2026: Thank you!! We had a wonderful meal at this small restaurant serving traditional French cuisine. Great attention is paid to the flavors and presentation of the dishes. For example, we enjoyed an excellent cod rillettes. Our table was also very well looked after, despite the main dining room being full! The two waitresses who served us were very friendly and attentive. The prices are particularly reasonable considering the quality of the dishes. We had two cocktails, a Saint-Germain Spritz and a Martini Spritz, which were frankly excellent. We weren't expecting that! Two things could be improved, in my opinion: * The wine list, which seems a bit limited in terms of variety. * The small tables in front of the restaurant, set up on the narrow sidewalk, are rather unassuming.
