13/11/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant with the aim of tasting local specialties. We were not disappointed. The poached egg with Epoisses, the beef bourguignon and especially the anise panna cotta were sublime. A delight. An explosion of flavors!!

11/11/2024: Ok. Nothing special. Reasonable boeuf bourguignon with lots of tender beef but with no onions nor mushrooms and 3 carrot slices. Packaged butter if you ask for some. Broccoli that was cooked for a few hours. American top 40 music. This restaurant needs a big update. Staff are nice

20/08/2024: Just tried the crepes, I'll come back for the beers, the choice seems very interesting to me! Very good, and very filling if you stick with the pancakes. Best creperie in Dijon.

18/08/2024: The drinks menu is simply incredible! We drank a stout from the Anspach & Hobday brewery that we rarely found elsewhere in France, The numerous beer brand stickers in the toilets (nice decor) prove that the people who come here have just as good taste as those who make the drinks menu! The choice of pancakes and crepes is quite satisfactory (a favorite for the flamm'), I was thinking of having a dessert, but the savory pancake was so large and garnished (for barely ten euros) that I I finally changed my mind! To end this rather very positive opinion, the servers are very friendly!

28/06/2025: It's always a pleasure to come back. The rooms are spacious, clean, with very comfortable bedding. The meals are delicious. It's quiet. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The pool was the perfect temperature. A wonderfully relaxing time, as usual. I recommend it.

Whether you're relaxing at the spa, having a drink by the pool, or enjoying a meal at the restaurant, everything is always perfect. The welcome is warm, the staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. It's always a pleasure to come back to unwind and fully enjoy. I highly recommend it!

18/08/2024: Beaune has exceptional restaurants and La Benaton is one that sits comfortably in that category. The food is absolutely delicious and is Michelin Star worthy. The service is excellent but you do need to keep an eye on over zealous wine pouring waiters, who top you up constantly, which can leave you with the impression that you are being rushed through a bottle of wine. The restaurant is quiet and had an air of exclusivity, lacking a warmth and vibrancy which may dissuade young foodies from visiting, which would be a great shame as the food is absolutely superb. Dog friendly and well worth a visit!

31/08/2024: This is a beautiful and very well located hotel in Beaune, just a short walk across the street into the old town. The receptionist was very courteous and showed us to our room. We didn’t request parking in the underground parking, which was full for the night, but we easily found free parking across the road under the trees (be careful of bird droppings). The hotel has a strict cancellation policy, we were traveling with an elderly relative and booked a few days in advance, but then the relative changed plans, so we were stuck with two rooms because the cancellation policy is five days in advance. After many calls we were able to get one room canceled. The room we booked was a family room that consisted of a double bed, bath on one level and a loft with a pullout couch bed that our teenage daughter really loved, it even had some type of music player that she was immediately able to connect with. We don’t usually stay at 5 star hotels, we only booked it for our relative and would have cancelled if we had been able to, but looking back at it it was a real treat to stay that one night at a top notch establishment. 17/08/2024: Déjeuner pour 3 (2 adultes et 1 enfant) à l extérieur dans un joli jardin ombragé, arboré et frais. Nous avons tous pris le menu Tradition (il existe un menu enfant). Service, présentation, plats délicieux. La brigade est discrète et efficace pour nous présenter les plats et répondre aux éventuelles questions. Je recommande vivement !

21/09/2024: I was supposed to have lunch for noon but following the delay of a meeting organized in the locomotives (40 min) I went to the manager to cancel the order due to my professional obligations and to apologize. She knew we were falling behind but didn't hesitate to announce out loud behind my back I site "he couldn't say it before that one". As if I could anticipate a meeting being late. Inappropriate and hurtful remarks not responsible for this delay. For a thoughtful summary before opening your flap.

19/09/2024: Coming to the restaurant on Sunday September 15 with family (we have already been several times) I was very disappointed. - the quantities are insufficient. - tasteless starter (squid) - pay attention to the freshness of food (mafé-style chicken leg). - service much too slow: not enough employees in the room today. Positive points: attentive, smiling, pleasant waiter. Pleasant and bright room, very clean establishment.

31/08/2024: The 5 course tasting menu was a beautifully choreographed suite - every dish delicious and exquisitely presented. The flavours were divinely rich without resorting to the overuse of cream and salt - very skilled.

29/08/2024: 7courses, but it was so much more, a fantastic experience. The tastes was marvellous, the chef really knew how to make it wonderful and the waiters knew how to explain everything, and give you a special evening. - We have had many a good restaurantvisits in our life, but this was really one of the absolute top, I can´t recommend it enough.

01/08/2024: We had dinner with the family at this restaurant during our road trip in Europe. We cannot speak a single word of French but the staff was very welcoming and got us to practice to order in the local language (but in a very friendly way). The food was great (we tried hamburger, chicken and steak fries) and we had a lovely Bourgogne from the neighborhood. And without a doubt, it was the best fries I ever had 😅. Dessert was awesome as well (crème brûlée and chocolate fondant).

20/09/2024: Cuisine très savoureuse bien que sans émotion. Par contre notre groupe va cotiser pour leur fournir des couverts, verres à vin (en bourgogne tout de même) et tasses à café. En effet tout manquait avec réservation en juin!!! Même la table qui nous a du coup montré le dos de certains convives vu la disposition amateuriste des tables. OU DONC A FILE LEUR ETOILE????

THE FAMOUS MANAGER DAVID IS NOT TALKING ABOUT AN INCAPABLE MAN LIKE HIM TO LOOK CAREFULLY AT THOSE YOU TOUCH AND THE STATE OF THE PLATES BEFORE EATING! DISGUSTING! RUN AWAY
