28/11/2025: I wandered into this place on a grey, rainy November afternoon in Nuits-Saint-Georges and instantly liked it. Inside, it’s warm and quiet. A cosy tea room with a surprisingly rich selection of teas served in proper kettles instead of cheap bags. Simple, artisanal, and exactly what you want when the weather turns. The staff were friendly, the kind who make you feel like you’ve been here before. Parking right at the door is a pain, but a larger lot is five minutes away, so no drama. If you’re following the Grand Cru route and need a break from wine, this spot works beautifully. Honey, teas, sweets to enjoy on the spot or take home, plus a calm corner to breathe. I’d happily return, especially on a cold day 👍

31/12/2025: I thought about it for a long time because I was waiting to calm down about my experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant. In short, it absolutely does not deserve this star! It was shameful to arrive at our table and see a tablecloth stained in several places. The aperitifs were served in unappealing glasses. After the first bread, we were served frozen bread... We were served pigeon that was cooked beyond disastrous. Flowers were used to garnish a dish that was an acrid and lingering taste. And to top it all off, we asked to see the chef, who appeared before us wearing a crumpled jacket—a total lack of respect. The only positive point was the sommelier, who was pleasant and a good professional.

14/12/2025: Our experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant left us perplexed. The service could be more attentive, the ambiance more refined, and above all, the cuisine more flavorful and distinctive. The sommelier saved our evening, and we thank him for that. We were hoping for a memorable gastronomic experience, which, unfortunately, was not to be.

23/02/2026: We enjoyed a stay in an idyllic setting, steeped in history and with undeniable potential. The property is old and very beautiful, but would benefit from better maintenance: some elements unfortunately give an impression of being outdated, particularly the grounds which seem neglected during the winter months. The room, although clean and equipped with quality bedding, is rather small for an establishment of this standard. We were also surprised by the lack of a minibar and by the in-room amenities, which were not up to 4-star standards, especially considering the price of €315 per night including breakfast, which we found high (plastic water bottle, no welcome biscuits, bleach-stained carpet). The welcome was mixed: while Patricia at reception was particularly friendly and professional, we were disappointed by the lack of staff for about 15 minutes upon our arrival, even though our booking was known (spa reservation at 3 pm). Conversely, the owner was particularly unwelcoming, even unpleasant. The spa, however, deserves special mention: Karen literally saved the experience. The treatment was a magical moment, delivered with great professionalism, at a very reasonable price. She is a real asset to the establishment and fully deserves to be recognized. The lovely bathroom and the breakfast, featuring homemade products, are also strong points. We didn't try the restaurant, but the dining room is exceptional and definitely makes you want to return to experience its cuisine. In short, a place with undeniable charm and a strong character, boasting wonderful human qualities, which would nevertheless benefit from improving certain service and maintenance standards to fully live up to its ambitions and its rating.

19/02/2026: We had a suite in an annex. The whole place was quite outdated and the cleaning wasn't done properly. The restaurant experience wasn't pleasant. We had a small table in the passageway by the entrance and the staff were rather inattentive. We were freezing during our massage. The parking lot behind the hotel, near the fields, is poorly designed and offers no security. You then have to cross a garden to get back to the rooms. The parking lot in front is reserved for the restaurant, so most guests park on the street. We found a hamburger patty in the refrigerator in our room... The receptionist came to remove it, but it was a potential source of contamination, and the appliance should have been checked during housekeeping. In short, the hotel is expensive for what it offers.

09/11/2025: Avoid room 102 We stayed at the Hotel Bourgignon in July this summer on our way back from our vacation. We had very fond memories of both the room and the restaurant. We had booked a ground-floor room; we are in our seventies and my husband has respiratory problems. The hotel manager had warned us that only one small room remained. Upon arrival, the hotel seemed less well-maintained and our room almost unsanitary: dirty walls, broken radiator, curtains hanging off, completely worn-out mattress, no bedside tables or lamps, questionable sheets, wrinkled pillows, a dirty wastebasket that hadn't been cleaned in ages, and a bathroom that was acceptable, although very dark. This room shouldn't be rented out; according to the hotel manager, he can't afford to renovate it. I invite the hotel manager to sleep there for 95 euros, the price we paid. Thankfully, we found the restaurant again, with its excellent food and wines; congratulations to the chef and the friendly, competent waitstaff. In conclusion, it's a shame we were left with a negative impression. I felt very anxious in this room, which should have been a place of relaxation after a long drive. Had it not been for the fatigue, we would have been back on the road.

17/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant for the second time and the experience was excellent once again. Refined cuisine, flavorful dishes, delicious desserts, and very pleasant and attentive staff. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return.

28/12/2025: Very disappointed, very expensive for the service and quality. We came with our three children. No change of cutlery. The buffet menu wasn't explained, and the choice was limited for the price.
