06/12/2025: Although the place was closed for the whole month of December(!) the restaurant was still taking online bookings through The Fork. When we arrived and realised there wasn’t any chairs nor tables we knew something was badly wrong. A lady came out of the kitchen, barely apologetic, and told us to go and check elsewhere for dinner. She didn’t seem phased to know I had submitted my credit card details to secure a ghost reservation. Completely and utter waste of our time. Chefs-led operations might be the promise of good food but this is called the HOSPITALITY industry for a reason. That’s what happens, unfortunately, when businesses don’t put their customers at the centre of their strategy.

05/10/2025: One of the best and most creative menus we've ever eaten. Very unusual with extraordinary combinations. French cuisine refined by a top Japanese chef. I don't understand why he hasn't received a star from the Michelin Guide yet. Cuisine of the highest caliber.

10/12/2025: The table was right next to the kitchen entrance, which wasn't ideal. The meal was very good, the beef steak very tender and cooked to perfection. The homemade fries, cooked in beef fat, were deliciously crispy. The servers were excellent, both in terms of service and wine recommendations—well done! The prices for the dishes are very reasonable, and the wine prices are fair. At the bar, we had five Williams pears at the end. €90 is extremely expensive! We think €12 is a reasonable price, but €18 is practically highway robbery.

30/11/2025: Excellent lunch! The chef's cuisine is truly delicious: the pot-au-feu was perfectly executed, with melt-in-your-mouth meat and richly flavored mayonnaise. The wine recommendation was also spot-on. A special mention to the thoughtful staff who provided gluten-free bread. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

11/02/2026: Extremely disappointed. The place is beautiful, and the atmosphere is warm and vintage. However, the food was terrible! The duck breast was burnt to a crisp! It was ordered medium-rare, but I ate extremely tough and tasteless meat. The Époisses sauce was also bland, and I'm still looking for the Époisses in it… My companion, seated across from me, ordered the ribeye steak, which was also burnt to a crisp.

04/02/2026: Quick service between noon and 2 pm, but a bit noisy. The cheese salad was very generous with toast but not much salad greens; the vegetarian pizza was good but nothing to write home about. The desserts were very large.

22/11/2025: A charming and authentic address: the cuisine is simple yet refined, featuring seasonal and homemade products. The welcome is truly warm—you feel right at home. The stone and wood dining room, or the garden terrace, creates a very convivial atmosphere. The service is attentive, and the owner offers excellent advice from the cellar of 250 Burgundy wines. A wonderful stop in Meursault. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the entire team.

Furthermore, they prepare high-end lunches at very reasonable prices, not to mention their restaurant in Alise-Sainte-Reine. They don't seem to care about the metro! 09/01/2026: I ordered the €13 takeaway menu with a starter and main course on December 19, 2025. It was a Burgundy-style meat pie with black olives and braised ham with truffles and creamy polenta. It was really very good, well packaged, and nicely presented, even for a takeaway! I returned to order another €13 takeaway menu (starter and main course) on January 6, 2026. There was a slight hiccup with the restaurant, which gave me the same starter as the other day (had it come out of the freezer?), but it was quickly resolved with the offer to pick up the correct starter the next day. The snail pie was delicious.

11/01/2026: Where is the old-fashioned crow? Limited choice of dishes, and what's more, none of them were available when you ordered. No bread or water on the table. ...Staff nowhere to be found when you wanted to pay the bill, which was already quite high considering the quality of the food... In short, we were very disappointed.
