31/08/2024: The 5 course tasting menu was a beautifully choreographed suite - every dish delicious and exquisitely presented. The flavours were divinely rich without resorting to the overuse of cream and salt - very skilled.

The tastes was marvellous, the chef really knew how to make it wonderful and the waiters knew how to explain everything, and give you a special evening. - We have had many a good restaurantvisits in our life, but this was really one of the absolute top, I can´t recommend it enough.

13/08/2024: We ate in the restaurant one afternoon in August, the owner is very pleasant and welcoming and offered colorings to my 3 year old son to keep him busy. The dishes are plentiful and the cooking is very good. The service is fast and the prices are fair. The veranda side gives a little extra to the restaurant.

16/09/2024: What a stunning hotel - created from a 12th century abbey. The original vaulted ceiling in the reception area was nothing short of spectacular. Our junior suite room was lovely (huge opening windows were a treat) and location was perfect- just a few minutes walk to the centre of beautiful Beaune. The daily breakfast was very French and very delicious. But what really made this hotel even more special were the staff. They were all so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our second stay in Beaune a very special one. We’d return there in a heartbeat!

17/03/2024: Par où commencer ? 2 étoiles car la viande était bonne . Les problèmes que nous avons rencontrés de manières succinctes : Pas d’accueil alors que le restaurant est bien loin d’être rempli , nous avons eu nos cocas bien 20 min après l’installation, notre bouteille d’eau gazeuse au milieu du repas ( demande au moment de la commande ) . Mon mari a demandé au serveur du poivre au moulin , il lui répond qu’il n’y en a pas de manière très nonchalante. J’étais certaine que c’était faux , j’ai demandé à une autre serveuse et miracle nous avions du poivre au moulin 2 min après . Je n’ai pas apprécié du tout la nonchalance de ce serveur et ses sourires hypocrites par la suite . Le service était lent et on sentait que les 2 serveurs hommes s’en fichent complètement. Concernant le repas , la viande pour la fondu était bonne , les frites bravo vous choisissez bien vos paquets de frites congelées et pour la salade : 2 cuillères à soupes d’huiles d’olives , une dd vinaigre , un peu de moutarde ( c’est de la région en plus ) une pincée de sel et de poivre et vous avez une vinaigrette simple et efficace . Celles que vous mettez dans la salade elle sent le leader price d’à côté . La crème brûle à la vanille , ça serait pas mal d’y mettre de la vanille au passage Au moment de l’addition , on veut nous faire payer 5€ une bouteille d’eau gazeuse . Nous avons eu de l’eau gazeuse du robinet pas une badoit faut pas abuser non plus . Petit coup de cœur pour les 2 serveuses qui ont été professionnelles .

25/02/2024: Ne prenez pas de petit déjeuner à l'hôtel. Les serveuses étaient en train de prendre leur petit déjeuner avec un jeun homme et n'étaient pas disponibles. On a dû demander des fruits frais au buffet car ils avaient oublié de les mettre. Il n'y avait que des bananes avec des taches brunes et des poires presque pourries. Il n'y avait qu'une bouteille d'eau plate qui était toujours vide et dont ont devait toujours demander pour la remplir. Les pot de noix et les pots de confiture étaient presque vide....

29/07/2024: While on vacation in Dijon for a stop on the road, we ate at La Piccolina. It's very good and the products are fresh!

25/07/2024: No reception, 45 minutes of waiting for a skewer and a pizza, answering machine and website not up to date, (Christmas announcement), it was July... Map not up to date... A piece of plastic in the pizza, in short, a lot of things to improve, positive point, smile from the waitress.

25/09/2024: Welcome and pleasant service. Food and pizza too, it's the restaurant we frequent most since we arrived at Nuits almost 5 years ago... The terrace is very pleasant when the weather permits. Good value for money.

29/08/2024: le repas était un vrai plaisir. nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien accueillis, et tous les plats étaient délicieux. j'ai particulièrement apprécié le poulet. nous recommandons vivement !

23/08/2024: Accueil chaleureux, joli cadre, excellente cuisine... Les œufs en meurette avec un Bourgogne rouge, divin. La carte des vins donnent une belle part à la Bourgogne.

06/09/2024: July 2024 while passing through Saulieu we have 2 espressos. Superb environment but €18 for 2 coffees and 2 small sachets of Bernard Loiseau sugar. No sweets, no glass of water. It's a bit expensive!!!

24/08/2024: Very good restaurant experience. Varied menus cooked on site. The chef was able to adapt to our particular request. Do not hesitate to leave the city center of Saulieu, because the value for money is favorable.

06/09/2024: Strange but sweet stopover in the heart of Burgundy. I highly recommend for the welcome and kindness of the staff. A delicate cuisine although a little frugal. “There is sunshine in France, and the rest doesn’t matter” Stone and Charden sang to us, that’s right. A nice stopover on the road to the sun.😘😋

29/06/2024: We had a good time with friends but disappointed with the 3 course menu (mystery) microscopic quantity with a price that does not correspond to the relatively ordinary dishes.. Sorry but going to restaurants very often I have better local addresses.
