19/11/2025: The restaurant, with its immense castle fireplace that warms the atmosphere, is sensational. The cuisine is made entirely with fresh, local produce that they sell at the Souillac market. The dishes are extremely generous and flavorful. There's nothing to criticize; the porcini mushroom sauce is addictive, and the strawberry sorbet and walnut ice cream are a delight. The best part is being able to take home a little bit of their exquisite products at the end of the meal by buying honey, walnut cake, rolled waffles, and so on. The place is very pleasant and peaceful, and the service is truly warm and welcoming. I recommend it to everyone, in any season, to enjoy the variety of seasonal products. A truly memorable address.

15/11/2025: We had lunch there one day; a hearty, locally sourced meal at a very good price. The service was pleasant and quick. Be careful with children on the terrace, as it's close to the road.

04/09/2024: Our new go to spot - great honest food - lovely staff - dog friendly - nice price - partially in the open air so wrap up on a cool night.

29/08/2024: We sat down and asked for a table at 6.30pm but were told it was fully booked all evening despite being almost empty at that point and no reserved signs. We asked if we could just stay for a drink but they said only for 20 ‘ minutes..an hour later we were still finishing off our drinks and there were still most tables available. We asked again if we could stay to eat but were told no. The waiter was very brusque and impolite and it was clear that we were just not wanted, perhaps they only take booked reservations but we still felt it was very rude the way they spoke and dealt with us. As we passed there again about half an hour later the table we were at was still empty. Would not come again.

03/09/2024: Bonjour étant en vacances à Brantome nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant pour le repas du soir, nous avons été accueillis agréablement bien le service au petit soin les plats sont délicieux et copieux. Si vous passez par Brantome je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter vous ne serez pas déçu.

03/09/2024: Pour l explication de cet avis modéré . Lieu très agréable, cuisine copieuse et bonne. Et quel dommage cet accueil .. une succession de remarques sur un ton pas très cool . C est dommage avec un plus de sympathie nous serions revenus .

04/09/2024: Camp paradis Dordogne The reception is extremely friendly, helpful and willing to provide information. We can look at the places that are still available and then let us know which one we have chosen. The entire, relatively quiet place makes an excellent impression on me, like a large, well-kept botanical garden, is my first thought. The pitches are firm and level, partly overgrown with grass, partly sandy, marked out by hedges, shaded by trees, and have electricity and water in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary building A is modern, functional, spacious and very clean. All the necessary equipment is available in the toilets, as are sinks with soap and disinfectant. The temperature in the showers and washrooms can be regulated, but the pressure cannot. The extensive area includes, among other things, a pool area, several play areas for children with interesting play equipment, a tennis court and Kettcar rental, a soccer field..., a supermarket and a restaurant with an attractive menu. The price-performance ratio is excellent, we paid €24.40 per night with an ACSI card for a motorhome, two people including electricity and WiFi.

01/09/2024: Super campsite with owners who have a passion for the profession and run the campsite with a lot of love. Beautifully landscaped large areas, flower gardens, a real bamboo forest and a fantastic swimming pool for the children. The camping restaurant is of excellent quality and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of entertainment for the children aged 7, 10, 11 and 15. The bands that came to play in the evenings were really fantastic with a top 2000 rehearsal director, something for everyone. The area has plenty to offer to see or do. All in all highly recommended

08/09/2024: Based on the website we made a reservation by telephone for 8/9 at 8 pm. Stood in front of the restaurant at 8 p.m. Unfortunately closed. So very disappointing. Please update website!!

26/08/2024: This is already our third visit! The service is perfect, committed to satisfying all our requests! We like to find in the dishes a few hints that the chef distills about his origins in the North of France. A must to seduce your loved one, reserve the lovers' table...
