17/05/2026: I chose this restaurant at random without checking any existing reviews. In hindsight, I unfortunately have to agree with many of them. The welcome and customer service were mixed, the homemade duck breast was good but poorly accompanied, the main courses were just average, and the desserts were uninteresting. The price wasn't justified. Nevertheless, a stop in this pretty little village is worthwhile.

14/05/2026: A quick and easy lunch today with a warm welcome and impeccable, attentive service. The food was excellent. We were two couples. Highly recommended.

27/05/2026: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Indeed, regarding the terrace, you have plenty of space, and generally, when a terrace is empty, it's never a good sign; we learned that the hard way! Passing through Brantôme, discovering a magnificent village whose history has forced it to defend itself, yet which has managed to retain all its splendor, we were met with a cold and very unpleasant welcome. Regarding the motorcycle helmets we had to put on the ground, a waitress nearing retirement (not a smile, as friendly as a prison guard) took our orders (for 10 people) and informed us that water was €0.20 per glass, not by the carafe. We ended up paying around €30 for coffees, Perrier with half a slice of lemon (which was charged), and soda. With such beautiful weather, we were quite thirsty! 😉 We only realized this when we went to pay at the counter, after the waitress had already collected part of the payment, that everyone would pay at the counter! With unfailing friendliness; and then, surprise! Apparently, some drinks were missing that hadn't been paid for! Two coffees. With a manager as friendly as the English guards, we were easily insulted and disrespected, with a hint of rudeness! Flee this establishment if you want to have a pleasant time, definitely not here! No hygiene standards whatsoever regarding the toilets, and the manager and waitress are as friendly and disrespectful as the characters in Money Heist! An establishment that thinks it's above the common folk and makes sure you know it! Shameful! I've never experienced this kind of behavior towards customers!

24/05/2026: I will never return with my biker friends. The welcome was poor; a glass of water cost 20 cents, and half a slice of lemon 🍋 also cost 20 cents – outrageous! We will not be back.
