18/09/2024: Hier geht es meiner Meinung nach um das Gesamterlebnis und nicht nur um die Küche. Es beginnt mit der Anfahrt gefühlt ins Nirgendwo. Dann ein schönes renoviertes Anwesen mit sehr schöner gemütlicher Terrasse mit einem tollen weiten Blick in die Landschaft. Sehr Naturbelassen. Familiär mit direktem Kontakt zu Koch/Besitzer und Küche. Er kauft morgens auf den Märkten ein und baut daraus die Gerichte, individuelles Tagesangebot oder kleine wechselnde Karte. Wir wählten Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Nachtisch, Wein. Nicht nur alles sehr gut, sondern auch wirklich mal "was anderes". Die Ente habe ich in der Form und Qualität und Geschmackserlebnis noch nie so gegessen. Herausragend. Der Wein aus dem Vorratsbehälter war deutlich besser als alle Flaschen die wir unterwegs so gekauft hatten. Eine Käseplatte zeigte was geht bei Käse wenn man selbst sonst mangels Kenntnis nur irgendwo zugreift. Dann bei passendem Wetter auf lauschiger Terrasse den Abend bei Wein und aufkommender Nacht ausklingen lassen. Super. Muss man mal erlebt haben.

10/10/2025: Walnut bread was so good.....probably the best ever. Cakes...the fig, the chocolate that looked like the sails on the Sydney Opera house, Lemon Meringue and nut thing...all were sensational. If you are in the area don't miss this. Again, our lack of French wasn't an issue. Such lovely staff. From 3 Aussies.

04/09/2024: De passage à Périgueux, nous nous sommes posées sur cette place agréable pour dîner. Le personnel est accueuillant, sympas et souriant. Les salades généreuses et bonnes, qui correspondent à la description de la carte. L'attente était raisonnable. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée.

24/08/2024: L'attente est longue, trop longue Les plats sont d'une inégale saveur (= les frites sont bonnes mais le poisson est moins bon). L'endroit est beau et le personnel sympathique cependant.

14/09/2024: Après la balade jusqu'au château nous avons apprécié cette halte dans votre restaurant personnel très agréable nous avons très bien mangé. La salade périgourdine était copieuse et bonne. Je recommande.

13/09/2024: assiette anchaud, salade crudités/frites 2expressos,deux café liégeois 1/4pécharmant un verre de rosé 58.30E,personnel très sympa, la cuisine est bonne.

Beautiful views! 🥰 Disliked · Unfortunately we were eaten by bed bugs. Bed was very hard. We wanted to have dinner and a drink and wanted to support the hotel restaurant but it was too early for dinner and just wanted a drink. We were told only dinner at that time. We went off to another bar and returned for dinner to see other tables were just having drinks!!. At that point we went elsewhere for dinner. The wifi did not work for the entire stay.

09/09/2024: We chose the restaurant "Le Centenaire" to celebrate our wedding anniversary, what a good choice. Everything was perfect, the welcome, the setting, our plates which proved to be a discovery and a delight throughout the meal. Thanks to Chloé and Mathieu and her entire team for the little attention at the end of the meal. A table that we will happily recommend to our guests. Sylvie and Thierry

18/08/2024: Non, pas bon, pas mauvais. Mais vide... Laisser les anciens "guide du routard" des anciens propriétaires, c'est osé quand même. Je n'y retournerai pas. Aucun sens. La mousse de gras à l'apéritif, ce n'est pas bon. Salade HDF, bof. Et le reste aussi. Ce n'est pas de la cuisine périgourdine.

06/08/2024: Un dimanche soir, sans avoir réservé et pourtant, on nous a trouvé gentiment une table très bien placée. C'est bon et copieux. Le foie gras est très bien préparé. La vue est incroyable. Soleil couchant sur le Dordogne. Nous recommandons.

04/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant avec une magnifique vue . Lee sevice était rapide et efficace Bon rapport qualité prix avec des produits locaux ( environ 30 E pour 2 plats et une eau pétillante ), plats copieux. Je recommande

29/09/2024: Very warm and friendly welcome!! We appreciated the little touches during the aperitif and coffee. Local products and cooked with passion. Too bad, we live too far away to come back but we highly recommend it!
