10/10/2024: I feel really sad to write a poor review as this place is so close to where I live. The food is worse than what I'd expect 30 years ago at a working man's cafe for lunch. The place has a super website but it delivers something worse than McDonald's but at a much higher price. I won't be recommending it going forward. Sorry

16/11/2024: The first time I've been disappointed with a Bistrot Régent, sincerely it doesn't live up to the brand! Friday evening 8 p.m., no more vegetarian dishes... The employees offer me a solution :) Unfortunately: cold fries and certainly recooked! Sauce not at all up to the reputation of chef Etchebest!

25/10/2024: The person at reception is really not friendly, the meal for the evening stopover...meh. Not a word not a smile...it was just him and me... The room infested with bugs that had fallen from the window frame which was filled with them... Bathroom... Very meh, not clean, warm water Breakfast served at 7am... But in fact it takes 7.20am to go to work..Inedible croissant so reheated In short I won't go back Sir, since I cannot answer you, no, my comment is not inappropriate, I would like to point out that given your kind side, I have indeed not dared to tell you what was wrong, seeing as when I told you that I was afraid of dogs and that your dog followed me everywhere you didn't bother to raise your head.. Concerning cigarettes for information I do not smoke having had a coffee for 20 years so you're lying.

17/10/2024: Very nice stay, I highly recommend the room was large, warm, comfortable and very well decorated! As for breakfast, it was very good and there was a lot of choice! The owner is very welcoming thank you for the week 🙂

29/08/2024: Nous y avons déjeuné, hier à 3 peronnes... La salade avec un ersatz de foie gras émulsionné n'avait de périgourdine que le nom... à éviter! Le service laborieux nous a demandé pas mal de patience... Nous avons fini par renoncer au dessert. C'est dommage, parce que j'y avait déjeuner plusieurs fois l'an dernier et j'en gardais un bon souvenir... Je n'y retournerai pas... j'ai eu l'impression qu'on s'était un peu moqué de nous...

25/08/2024: On y mange superbement bien je vous conseille le menu a 26€50 déjà avec l assiette périgourdine on est presque rassasié aujourdh ui 2 jeunes personnes très agréables faisaient le service

03/09/2024: Stopped for a light lunch. Lovely welcome, quickly seated despite it being quite busy. We both enjoyed the flavoursome house pate followed by cheese omelette & a delicious bavette.

19/08/2023: Hotel very well located and with swimming pool. But it’s a shame that the reception was cold. The room is dilapidated. Flashing lights in the bathroom. 2 small lights on the walls and impossible to read in the evenings. Housekeeping more than mediocre. We were "lucky" to see how it is done: 5 minutes for everything. No washing in the shower, on the floor or on the tables. There was dirt on the table and floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left! We spent 3 days in the hotel. The trash cans in the room are not emptied and reception told us that this was normal because the cleaning lady does not empty them every day! This is the first time we've heard this in a hotel. In short, only “surprises”.

17/08/2024: 2 stars for the kitchen because nothing justifies the price! 25€ for the Perigourdine salad because of the foie gras “supplement”… The fries are not homemade and that's a shame... Nothing to say about the service, fast and efficient and the place is rather pretty. Can do better!

13/08/2024: Vue le prix du menus j'appelle Ça du vol 3 frites une cuisse 2 boule 20€ Passez votre chemin et prenez un autre restaurant.

12/09/2024: Nous sommes revenus malgré une première expérience décevante. L'attente avant la commande, pendant le repas entre chaque plat , le service complètement désorganisé bien que 2 jeunes serveurs aient transgressé la règle "je sers mais ne prend pas les commandes..."sinon nous serions restés 3 heures1/2 à table. La nourriture était correcte mais les portions inégales si 3 convives prenaient le même plat. Personnel débordé pas de sourire pas de suivi des plats même pas à la caisse. Le pompon c'est lorsqu'on voit apposé sur le mur d'entrée l'adoubement par Gault et Millau de table gourmande. Qui est venu visiter cet établissement ? Nous n'étions pas les seuls mécontents. En tout cas nous ne reviendrons plus.

04/09/2024: Excellent meal, careful service. Choice of dishes from the menu or à la carte. Pleasant setting, I enjoyed lunch on the banks of the Dronne.

17/11/2024: Absolutely avoid! The food was ok but very small portions. Unthinkable wait between courses: we spent two hours for a simple starter, main course, dessert menu!! In addition it was colder inside than outside and we ate while remaining dressed in our jackets. In addition, the boss was in a very, very bad mood.

13/09/2024: Lunch after the Thursday market in Lilande. The menu du jour was good food and good value. The pression is a bit expensive, but overall tasty food and a very pleasant experience.
