15/05/2026: We arrived here one morning for coffee just as they were opening. The reception felt cold and did not feel very welcome when we arrived. We did check their hours and it clearly said from 1030 am so presumed a coffee was not out of the question at that time! Anyhow, by the time we left they were a little more friendly but decided not to go for a meal later in the week as the welcome felt cold. Also for what we had we felt it was a little pricey considering the service was not great

02/05/2026: A wonderful discovery just 10 minutes from Uzès, offering a culinary journey and an incredibly warm welcome. The tuna and avocado tartare is a delight, the curried John Dory fillet is truly delicious, and the coconut and cardamom ice cream sundae is simply divine. The service is very friendly. A nice wine selection. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area.

01/05/2026: Run by a friendly team, the welcome is very warm, and the terrace, well shaded by sails, is perfect for relaxing after a meal. The cuisine is fresh and clearly inspired by Mauritius, as the chef is originally from there. The fish sauce is excellent, nicely seasoned, but not too spicy for me, as I'm sensitive to chili. The vegetables come from the garden, and the local wine list is a bit limited, but it will expand over time. The coffee could use a little improvement; it wasn't up to my standards, but I recommend this place—simple and good.

13/05/2026: The restaurant is certainly good, but the staff is not very welcoming. The terrace has a selective clientele. I wanted to eat there with my dog ​​on the terrace. I was refused a table by the sidewalk for privacy. The waitress refused me access to that table and tried to squeeze me into the middle of the other people at the back of the same terrace.

09/05/2026: Discovered by chance, we appreciated the warm welcome and friendly service at L'Embrasé. Lunch menu: €18. Chicken and zucchini that you cook yourself on a charcoal brazier covered with herbs de Provence (or thyme), homemade fries, green salad. Local sauces and salt. Lemon tart. Everything fresh and in generous portions. Large, tree-shaded terrace.

25/05/2026: On a getaway to Uzès... after a hike... we were welcomed after 1:30 pm on a Saturday with a smile, and for me, a vegetarian, a generous and delicious plate... an address not to be missed! 👌😁

However, the service could be improved: the cutlery wasn't changed, so there were no fish cutlery sets, and wine was served by the glass at the counter, leaving us unsure of what we were being served (the Pic Saint Loup wasn't good). As the last customers, we were finishing our dessert while the waitress swept the floor, which was quite unpleasant. It's a shame because the quality of the meal was worthy of a fine dining establishment.

14/05/2026: Passing through, we ordered a Cévennes platter which was outrageously expensive: one sausage, two spoonfuls of salad with three chestnut pieces, and fries. We are polite people and ate without complaining. The bill wouldn't go through, even with a €2 discount, because my husband didn't order the salad. Very disappointed. Tourist trap.

03/05/2026: This crêperie is far better than many crêperies in Brittany, Normandy, or Paris! The ingredients are high quality, the galettes are crispy, and the crêpes are melt-in-your-mouth with homemade fillings, all served on a lovely shaded terrace with fast, friendly, and pleasant service!
