19/08/2024: We sat down for a coffee. For more than 10 minutes we waited without any waiter looking at us or saying hello.
After 15 minutes, we asked a waiter if we could order and he told us to wait for his other colleague.
Not a hello, more than 15 minutes of waiting to tell us to wait.
So we left.
Clearly, nonchalance and antipathy are present at this brewery if there are any fans 😂

15/07/2023: plusieurs chose à revoir dans ce restaurant, si vous aimez l’ambiance cantine cela est fais pour vous , le personnel ne dis pas bonjour, la nourriture est sans goût ( et pourtant il s’agit de chose simple ) , le pain est dure ça ce vois qu’il n’est pas tout frais, seule point positive les desserts il y a du choix mais rien d’exceptionnel, la prochaine fois je regarderai les avis avant d’y entrer, première et dernière expérience…

27/08/2024: The views over the Dordogne river are lovely and this would be a good spot for sunset drinks. The service was prompt and attentive but the food was very basic. The salad was fresh and well put together but it was just a salad. Unfortunately my husband didn’t enjoy his pizza

Even if the staff is very cheerful and pleasant
Too much waiting and lag
The glass of white wine served 10 minutes before the foie gras
Quite a wait between starter and main course and having to ask for the glass of wine to have it before the end of the main course (we got it in the middle)
End of service less friendly when paying we felt oppressed to have to pay now immediately
We will come back to test it on occasion despite everything, the first time we did not have the same feeling about the service and the staff remains pleasant.
Hoping for constructive comments for my follow-up

21/09/2024: Stopped for a drink in early afternoon.
There was a notice telling people who wanted to sit outside, to see the bar for service. I did this, they said they would come out to take the order. Over ten mins later, someone came.
The drink was overpriced and the service was indifferent.
A shame, because it’s a good location.
17/09/2024: We got into Bordeaux late afternoon - starving. I’m happy I did not read the reviews before we dined here. They were pretty bad. Perhaps they have improved although the service was slow. It was the only place we found there were no smokers. The food was great. The nicoise was an ample portion of fresh crisp lettuce, the peppers were a nice touch. The tuna and white anchovy were fresh and tasty. Our friends ordered a cassoulet with mushrooms & chicken with magnificent sauce and a salad with a giant bowl of Brie and French fries. Not my type of dish but she totally enjoyed. The St Germaine spritzer was the best I’ve had this trip.

15/09/2024: We had dinner at Ricardo's 2 evenings ago. We usually go there at least once a year. The service was good. We were disappointed by the quality (taste) and quantity of the two dishes which were really average. So not to be avoided, but the price range is a little high compared to the food served.

11/06/2024: We came by chance to eat in this little restaurant and...we were won over.
A very warm, friendly welcome and we ate very well.
The products are fresh, homemade and very, very good.
Even if the room needs to be refreshed, go for it and don't stop at the appearance of it.

09/09/2024: Lieu très plaisant avec une belle vue sur le Bassin d’Arcachon. Cuisine fine et de bonnes saveurs. Une belle Variété de plats dans un décors chaleureux. Une équipe jeune qui a envie de bien faire, et à encourager.
J’ai passé un excellent moment. Un grand merci. 🙏
09/09/2024: Dans un très beau cadre vue bassin une cuisine créative et pleine de saveurs plaisir des papilles sans aucun doute, service rapide et efficace des jolis débuts prometteurs sur notre presqu île très belle soirée nous reviendrons c est sur !

01/09/2024: The Sail Fish is an aperitif bar that becomes a restaurant from around 8 p.m., which becomes a club from midnight. The music gets louder as the evening progresses and the guests start dancing on the tables. The atmosphere is summery, bright and chic and so is the audience. See and be seen. Always a great atmosphere.

13/03/2024: Smack in the centre of town, this is a very busy restaurant serving good quality at a very good price. Eating outside the front under the awnings, you can watch all that's going on as you take in traditional food and good wine. Nice ambiance.
02/01/2024: They give me the arm of honor when I ask for an extra packet of sugar, and when we ask if they serve pancakes, we are kicked out of the room because supposedly they are “closing soon”.
Disappointed.
