15/03/2026: Very disappointed: customers are clearly not treated equally. A small charcuterie platter to share between two raclettes and two charcuterie fondues... all while admiring the charcuterie platters at the next table, which were twice as large... who knows why? Add to that the less-than-stellar service... I do not recommend it. Unfortunately, the owners seem to have also taken over the Avalanche restaurant... I desperately need a serious alternative in Puy...

10/02/2026: Merlette's Bar, with its very friendly staff, is located opposite the sports arena. It's quick, efficient, and inexpensive. You'll feel right at home, and there's always something going on: TV shows, concerts, and appearances by local characters... a must-try!

22/08/2025: Very good bedding. A little pricey, though. I had written that my dog ​​had slept in the car because pets aren't allowed in the establishment. After a phone call from the owner, I learned that I could have negotiated for him to come into the room. So, mea culpa!

25/05/2026: Excellent stay with full board and packed lunches for our hikes. Peaceful inn, Benoît and Christina are very kind. Homemade, organic, and high-quality products. Option to visit the farm and see the animals. Highly recommended!

16/03/2026: We had a wonderful week-long stay at La Ferme de la Clarée. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the meals and picnics were excellent, featuring seasonal produce, delicious homemade cheese, and dishes served with herbs that gave them a subtle and succulent flavor. Kristina treated us to some fantastic meals! I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

15/06/2026: It took an hour to get served. The pizza was good. The cheese omelet was undercooked. The meat was edible. I don't recommend it.

13/06/2026: The mission was more than accomplished; our hunger was more than satisfied by this excellent restaurant! The final stop on this long-distance hike, a beautifully designed and decorated place, a warm and lovely team, and a cascade of Queyras fondue with Bleu du Queyras cheese to help us recover from our exertions. Not forgetting the famous sweet "matefaim" for dessert! Absolutely fantastic!

17/05/2026: The meal was served quickly, and the staff was pleasant. However, I'm leaving a review simply to point out the building's filth. There was food waste on the floor, tables, and table legs, and the staff did nothing about it. When I saw the state of the toilets, it was just disgusting: filth, dust, urine, and more... it just makes you never want to come back. Especially when you're there with children... It's a shame they didn't make the effort at this establishment, which is located at the crossroads of the ski resorts in the Southern Alps. I was truly disappointed.

14/05/2026: This is the last time we'll go to McDonald's in Embrun. The quality is getting worse and worse. Food was lying around everywhere, even near the bins. There were only about ten people eating, yet all the tables were filthy. It was impossible to find a proper place to eat. When we finally found a decent table, I looked behind the counter where you pick up your order: all the staff were chatting and laughing amongst themselves while the rest of the restaurant remained in this state. It's unacceptable. I've never seen a McDonald's so dirty. We'll never go back!

13/06/2026: Passing through Chorges aux Hyvans, the staff clearly told us to go there. The result? I will definitely be back as soon as I return. Idyllic setting. Top-notch cuisine (and products). Very reasonable prices. And a perfect welcome... It feels like home; it's truly wonderful to find gems like this when traveling. Thank you to all the staff, and we'll see you again for sure. 01/06/2026: Had a nice visit here. The rooms are simple but clean and practical. The whole building is an older inn so don’t expect fancy trappings but it’s a nice place nonetheless. Was arriving a bit late but the staff were happy to host us in the restaurant. The food was tasty and with a bunch of locally sourced vegetables and meats. The breakfast was fairly simple, not a huge selection, but the tables were neatly set, there were some croissants and jams, some cereals and coffee and juice. The ambiance of the whole place was relaxed, so nothing formal, no attempts to act overly fancy, or overly service oriented but also down to earth, happy to chat a bit and ensure needs were met. I’d happily return.

17/05/2026: A woman (smoking outside in an apron, to illustrate the point) who raises her eyes when you ask a question—you wouldn't guess there's an outside area behind her! A little kindness and a smile are free and can pay off big time; in this case, we turned around and left. What a shame...

21/02/2026: A rather disappointing experience. We had to wait a very long time to order, even though there wasn't a queue. The woman at the entrance was really unwelcoming, which created a bad atmosphere right from the start. It's a shame, because you expect a minimum of consideration when you come to a bar/restaurant. I hope the service will improve. The interior decor is very nice.

20/02/2026: Forced to queue to order, so no service, and when we were comfortably seated to drink our glass, we were cleared out to make room for a larger order.

20/04/2026: Terrible customer experience. The reception staff, including Coline, treated us with contempt. We do not recommend this spa.

20/04/2026: Another terrible experience! The price is exorbitant: €55 for 3 hours, especially since the main baths were closed due to a technical issue. First, the receptionist, who introduced herself as the manager, offered us a 20% discount, which the other receptionist refused to apply. The result? A deplorable customer experience stemming from extremely poor management! Avoid this place at all costs; we also learned that they don't even use thermal water.

06/04/2026: Clean and practical room. Nice bathroom. A bit noisy on the boulevard side, and the pillows were much too big! Nice breakfast

05/04/2026: The hotel is very well located and very close to my work location. The staff I encountered were courteous and friendly, and the service was of a very high standard.

02/07/2026: Terrible service... The waitress almost refused to serve us because we only wanted dessert, even though there were only two of us. Indeed, after checking, there is a sign outside stating this, but there's a way to say things. I won't be back. A friendly welcome is essential. Otherwise, the crepes were decent.

22/04/2026: We go to this crêperie every time we go up to Salle des Alpes. And we have for years. The crêpes are delicious. The owners are lovely. I highly recommend this place.
