16/03/2026: We had a wonderful week-long stay at La Ferme de la Clarée. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the meals and picnics were excellent, featuring seasonal produce, delicious homemade cheese, and dishes served with herbs that gave them a subtle and succulent flavor. Kristina treated us to some fantastic meals! I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

12/03/2026: This review concerns only the restaurant. Arriving during the second seating, despite having a reservation, we were informed that half the dishes on the menu were unavailable, leaving us with few options. A lack of staff was also evident in the dining room; the waitresses were overwhelmed and inexperienced, struggling to explain our order. But what upset us most was the missing ingredients in our dishes, without any prior notification. For example, the famous fresh goat cheese salad was reduced to just a plain salad. At €8, it's rather expensive. A real disappointment.

22/03/2026: Frankly, I was very disappointed with my experience. The service really needs improvement: the staff were unpleasant, unfriendly, and made me feel like I was bothering them. The wait was long even though it wasn't very busy. The atmosphere was also completely lacking. The place felt cold and unwelcoming, making it uncomfortable and discouraging to stay or return. In the end, it was a rather impersonal and unprofessional experience. I do not recommend it.

07/02/2026: This establishment refuses dogs, even Chihuahuas. Too bad for them. They've lost customers.

22/03/2026: We had a lovely stay in a charming little hotel at the foot of the slopes. The rooms have a beautiful view of the mountains and valley and are impeccably clean. The hosts are incredibly kind, attentive, and very caring. The food is excellent, featuring local and northern specialties. Another highlight is their wine and beer cellar, where enthusiasts will find a wide selection. Excellent value for money. We are delighted and thank you again for everything. We will gladly return. I highly recommend this hotel; you won't be disappointed.

21/02/2026: We had a very pleasant week at "Les Fauvettes Hotel Bar Restaurant." Valérie (the owner) and her husband Christophe are very dedicated. They take care of everything with great kindness and professionalism. The rooms are very clean, and the welcome is warm. Christophe's wine cellar is excellent (my son-in-law, Clément, appreciated it 😊). The beers are excellent, with a very wide selection. The food was delicious—another big thank you to Valérie! 👏 We highly recommend this hotel; it's fantastic. I give it 5/5. Well done and thank you for your hospitality.

09/04/2026: Avoid this place. The service was sloppy, unfriendly, and very haphazard. €20 for reheated vacuum-sealed ravioli with a basic tomato sauce flavored with cayenne pepper is outrageous, especially considering the cost price is probably €2 per plate. There was no responsiveness from the staff; the bread arrived too late, and the water only when we had almost finished our meal. Thankfully, the beer was cold. Run away!

24/02/2026: I highly recommend it, I've been going to this bar for years, it's always pleasant, the people are friendly, and the prices are always affordable, the owners are very professional and the new waitress is just as good, pleasant and with a smile, in my opinion the best bar in the city center.

22/04/2026: We go to this crêperie every time we go up to Salle des Alpes. And we have for years. The crêpes are delicious. The owners are lovely. I highly recommend this place.

28/03/2026: My goodness avoid this place. The woman serving clearly does not like people or running a restaurant. She did not want to serve a single person 😢. Having had a fabulous week in Serre Chevalier this is the only time customer service has been non existent. Appalling - no wonder the place was empty.

20/04/2026: Terrible customer experience. The reception staff, including Coline, treated us with contempt. We do not recommend this spa.

20/04/2026: Another terrible experience! The price is exorbitant: €55 for 3 hours, especially since the main baths were closed due to a technical issue. First, the receptionist, who introduced herself as the manager, offered us a 20% discount, which the other receptionist refused to apply. The result? A deplorable customer experience stemming from extremely poor management! Avoid this place at all costs; we also learned that they don't even use thermal water.

09/05/2026: We stopped by on a Tuesday enroute back to the UK, it was very busy which i was not expecting, they did acknowledge us and open up a room next door to cater for us and some other diners, we were promptly served lovely cheese and ham omelette with chips and we was on our way.

10/11/2025: Thank you to the restaurant owners for their warm welcome and kindness; as we say back home, they treated us to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend the cheese selection, especially the crème brûlée—wow, excellent! High-quality products, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back.

19/01/2026: A delightful experience, it was great, the staff even taught us how to gut a trout.

24/08/2025: After an unsuccessful fishing trip, we bought two trout anyway. The vendor put them in a basin right in front of us to "electrify" them. My children were shocked... then after a few minutes, he gutted them in front of us and placed the still-moving hearts of the trout on the edge of the sink. Second shock. I couldn't eat them that evening 😣... neither could one of my sons. Perhaps this practice is common and normal, but I wasn't expecting it. Neither was my husband. The place is pleasant nonetheless; several people managed to catch several trout. If you catch the trout, you pay €6. If you buy it without having caught it, you pay €5. For fishing enthusiasts, it's certainly more suitable than for us, a family.

26/01/2026: A hotel stuck in the 70s. You either love it or hate it, but it's close to the slopes. Very good breakfast. However, the bathrooms are basic for the price.

26/04/2026: I had already visited years ago (2015, when it was still the Chalet Hotel). Since then, there has been a change of ownership, but the place remains just as lovely. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The welcome, the food, the kindness of everyone, and the possibility of staying as long as you like. It's an address that comes at a price, admittedly, but sometimes you have to treat yourself to these kinds of pleasures. Thank you.

04/04/2026: We booked the place for two nights with our friends for our 30th birthdays at the end of March! A real place to live with very comfortable rooms! I highly recommend it, both for the service and the exceptional location! A thousand thanks again to the whole team! Special mention to Fredo who treated us to delicious meals all weekend!
