04/09/2024: Not very generous, excessive price for very simple cuisine. The setting is nice but the noise of the chairlift spoils the atmosphere a little. Really not happy with the experience

27/08/2024: Retour au petit cerf en été après 8 mois d'absence....la très bonne cuisinière de janvier 2024 a dû les quitter car le dîner était très ordinaire ,voir simpliste,peu généreux et tout sauf local.... décevant pour une soirée dans le Queyras. Les chambres manquent de certains équipements de base tels que du savon sur le lavabo,une petite penderie..... Enfin les tarifs sont des tarifs pour parisiens (par exemple la pression locale à 6 €,la part de tarte à 7 €....). En deux mots,un retour très décevant 😏

14/09/2024: Good restaurant in the heart of Ceillac. Specialty of "matefaim", a kind of very thick Savoyard crepe, a bit like a pancake. Presented as a dessert, you can also find it as a replacement for burger bread, which is quite original! The restaurant also offers pizzas cooked over a wood fire. We ate there twice and had a great time while enjoying a very warm chalet setting. The staff is friendly, and I must say extremely efficient. Despite a very extensive menu, they manage to manage a Saturday evening service of 40+ seats for 3 (1 cook, 1 waitress and the boss who does service and pizzas), with fast service and dishes that arrive hot and well presented. We feel that there is experience, but we must recognize that it is admirable!

03/09/2024: I had an excellent season as a kitchen assistant dishwasher. Sabine and Yves are valiant people, upright and grateful for the work done by their employees. Jean-Philippe the chef and also a good person who taught me a lot for my first real experience in the kitchen. I don't regret packing my bags and crossing part of France for this establishment. Long live them, and we’ll see you again this winter with joy.😘

17/03/2024: Raclette at the top. Very good and in sufficient quantity even for very greedy people. The service is impeccable and brilliant. Super attentive with children. From the welcome to the service, everything was perfect. An address to keep in your little papers. We will definitely come back on our next vacation. The only disappointment was having discovered the restaurant the day before our departure. Stay as you are.

31/08/2024: Looking for a restaurant offering cheese specialties, we were advised to come to this restaurant. And we were not disappointed! Good quantities, excellent fondues. Superb dessert presentation. And a super pleasant waitress! I highly recommend this place.

12/08/2024: We had lunch whilst visiting the hot springs. We arrived without reservation and were seated on the terrace under some pleasant shade. I had a salade Guisane which had tartar of trout , houmous, beetroot salad leaves and was very tasty. For pudding I had the cheesecake which was hearty and delicious. Follow by an espresso which was top notch. Very good service .

05/07/2024: Une fois encore conquise par cette nouvelle carte estivale. Des produits frais et locaux, un personnel aux petits oignons, une cuisine colorée et savoureuse. Je recommande vivement cet établissement!

25/07/2024: Vous êtes en Provence verte? N'hésitez pas à faire 45 min de route ou plus pour un déjeuner ou un dîner au Bistrot Ecole. Rapport qualité prix imbattable et plats exquis. Vins excellents à prix démocratique (goûtez les vins locaux de Myrko Tepus, magnifiques !) et service souriant, bref 2h de bonheur.

20/08/2024: Affordable and delicious daily menu. The exterior is shaded by vegetation. The service is fast and very friendly.

16/08/2024: Good place for a drink but not worth eating there. The food is not bad but uninteresting or even tasteless. Too bad because the menu was appetizing. The person serving was friendly but seemed a little lost and unprofessional (stroking his dog between two tables to clear and serve).

18/09/2024: Definitely not recommended hotel. My compliments to whoever photographed the rooms and the breakfast buffet. The only positive note is the splendid panoramic view that can be enjoyed from the dining room. The room assigned to me was decidedly small, as was the double bed which, to say the least, was a queen size bed. The mattress was certainly not the most comfortable I have ever tried. The bathroom, obviously without a bidet, is tiny and without a window or ventilation system, with a shower compartment with a decidedly narrow access and no closing door. The breakfast, although it offered a fairly wide choice, was decidedly of mediocre quality. Definitely not recommended

07/09/2024: I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, the staff are friendly and welcoming. And what about the view of the lake and the mountains, it enhances waking up. As for the restaurant, the food is good and the service is impeccable. I recommend.

27/08/2024: Déçus. Nous avons choisi le plat du jour, un poulet à la provençale qui n'en avait que le nom ! Linguine recouverte d'une sauce tomate acide sortie tout droit d'une boite de conserve et recouverte de 4 copeaux de fromage ! Le poulet n'avait pas mijoté dans la sauce mais était bon. Dommage, c'est pourtant tellement simple de préparer une bonne sauce tomate !
