21/02/2026: A rather disappointing experience. We had to wait a very long time to order, even though there wasn't a queue. The woman at the entrance was really unwelcoming, which created a bad atmosphere right from the start. It's a shame, because you expect a minimum of consideration when you come to a bar/restaurant. I hope the service will improve. The interior decor is very nice.

20/02/2026: Forced to queue to order, so no service, and when we were comfortably seated to drink our glass, we were cleared out to make room for a larger order.

08/08/2026: Far too expensive for what it is. The quality of the food is worse than mediocre. A Caesar salad supposedly with eggs and cheese… nothing of the sort. Just four pieces of stale bread and lettuce with a plasticky texture. A paella where the rice was more like mashed potatoes than anything else… in short, avoid it. You'd be better off going to a small brasserie that, for the same price, will offer quality food.

18/07/2026: New management, new experience. The setting is still as pleasant as ever. We found the service very good; the staff were friendly, attentive, and relatively quick and responsive despite the high volume of customers. The portions are quite generous, but it's a shame the quality wasn't quite there. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't unforgettable either. We felt the choice of ingredients was more reminiscent of a cafeteria than high-quality local produce. This is a bit of a shame because, in my opinion, the prices don't reflect the quality. Nevertheless, we still had a pleasant time. Hopefully, time and feedback will help the team improve even further. With better ingredients and a little more attention to detail in the preparation, I think this establishment would be a very good restaurant.

09/04/2026: I used to like your merguez sausages, but my last two purchases were a huge disappointment: lots of inedible, rubbery bits inside. Organic is great, but it shouldn't be an excuse to do whatever you want!

30/07/2026: No payment terminal, cash only. The pizzas were okay, but the prices of the other dishes are high considering the quality and portion sizes. The restrooms weren't clean, which I find really disappointing for a restaurant. My friends ordered a burger (if you can even call it a burger): an expensive dish for what it was, served without salad, yet the price remained the same. Honestly, we were disappointed with our last evening.

30/07/2026: Well, I'm really disappointed. I'm still wondering how this place dares to call these "burgers." They're just plain old sandwiches with a piece of chicken that didn't even look homemade, a slice of cheese, a single slice of tomato... and that's it. Not even a bit of salad or any kind of topping. At that price, it's almost insulting. The worst part is that they didn't offer any compensation, even though the meal was far from satisfactory. We paid the price of a real burger for something we could make better at home in five minutes. To top it all off, we were only told upon arrival that the card machine was "out of order" and that we had to pay in cash. Strangely, no one bothered to tell us over the phone. Making customers come out of their way without informing them of such an important detail is a complete lack of professionalism. Since the takeover, the quality has literally plummeted. If the goal was to cut costs on ingredients and service, they succeeded. If the goal was to satisfy customers, they failed completely. And the restrooms? Don't even get me started. I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen must be like. This is a place I absolutely do not recommend. Keep walking if you're looking for real burgers and a modicum of respect for customers.

18/08/2026: A unique experience indeed; the service provided by Camille was exemplary, as was that of the bartender Antoine, who was very professional. The food, however, was average, below my expectations. My milkshake was only half full. See you soon (or not).

26/04/2026: I had already visited years ago (2015, when it was still the Chalet Hotel). Since then, there has been a change of ownership, but the place remains just as lovely. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The welcome, the food, the kindness of everyone, and the possibility of staying as long as you like. It's an address that comes at a price, admittedly, but sometimes you have to treat yourself to these kinds of pleasures. Thank you.

04/04/2026: We booked the place for two nights with our friends for our 30th birthdays at the end of March! A real place to live with very comfortable rooms! I highly recommend it, both for the service and the exceptional location! A thousand thanks again to the whole team! Special mention to Fredo who treated us to delicious meals all weekend!

22/03/2026: The food is sophisticated and delicious. However, the dishes are very expensive for the portion size… and the side dishes aren't even included.

26/01/2026: We hadn't even tasted the food yet and we already wanted to leave. We were a table of 15 who were going to order a lot, but that didn't stop the servers from being unpleasant. It wasn't possible to make even the smallest change to the burgers despite our allergies. The waitress's responses were curt. We didn't feel welcome at all. 26/01/2026: An arrogant boss or manager who likes to badmouth his customers at the checkout; it's just awkward when you're standing right there. Personally, I won't be eating there again; there are far better restaurants in Vars where you get friendly service.
