15/08/2026: Fantastic welcome in the middle of August!! The staff were very friendly and attentive. How could you not enjoy eating or having a drink with such exceptional service?

15/08/2026: When we entered the restaurant, we wanted to turn around and leave, but we were too lazy to go anywhere else, so we decided to stay and eat anyway. We didn't regret it at all; the waiter was super friendly and the food was delicious. The barbecue kebabs and fries were good, and the gratin dauphinois was divine. We highly recommend this restaurant! 👍

27/07/2026: Very average restaurant. Let's start with the hygiene... Ice cubes are handled with bare hands, the cutlery isn't clean, I had a dirty fondue fork and pointed it out to the waiter who gave me another one and put the dirty one back in the fork tray without washing it... Same with dessert, sticky little spoon. When you go to pay, take a look at the kitchen, it's not great either... We ordered two Savoyard fondues and two tartiflettes; they weren't amazing but edible. The final blow came with dessert: tiramisu with burnt candied apples, and the cherry on top, or rather the cherry on the cake, was Crozet pasta in the vanilla ice cream of the "Chocolate Delight"... See for yourself in the photo. If we're talking about the atmosphere, let me tell you, this is a restaurant where I think the father cooks and the son waits—what a strange relationship! 😅 The waiter is constantly being reprimanded, and not in a very friendly way either, in front of the customers. Go somewhere else; you'll definitely get more for your money!

28/05/2026: We waited an hour for four salads. The waiter and the cook were overwhelmed. They would have been better off not serving us, as it made our journey very late.

18/07/2026: If you're visiting Montgenèvre, you absolutely must stop by Le Graal for a drink or to try a local specialty like reblechonnade 🤗. Even if you don't like cheese, you'll find something to enjoy! The atmosphere and service are very pleasant.

17/07/2026: Definitely the liveliest bar in Montgenèvre. A pleasant setting with a nice little selection of draft beers for a mountain bar and good quality food.

07/04/2026: Great and friendly lunch stop in the sun near to Aravet. We visited twice. The XXL croque monseur was enough to share between 3 of us!

24/05/2026: This is an establishment I frequented some twenty years ago, when it still operated under the "Relais du Silence" label, a chain that has since dissolved. And during a seasonal stay in the region, I rediscovered it with all its former charm and picturesque character, which I particularly appreciate. What I love and seek out are inns because they provide lodging and meals for travelers, and this hotel-restaurant has retained this valued principle along with its quality of service.

21/05/2026: I don't really know what to say. We went in, asked for a table for four, and were told there would be a wait. I understand, but why? There was no one there, and we felt like we were bothering them. So, we just ordered one dish and left. Just look at the color of the fries in the photo. The place smells strongly of tobacco.

16/03/2026: The meals were well-suited to the situation. Simple and hearty, served in a pleasant setting with efficient service. However, to get a drink, you had to carry your order to the bar (wearing ski boots). Not ideal for a large group, especially considering the prices should justify a minimum level of service.

09/07/2026: Rather unassuming from the outside, Le Bocage offers a cozy dining room and lovely outdoor lighting, though you can hear the adjacent street (which isn't bothersome!). The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was great! 👍

02/07/2026: The welcome was warm. We were served quickly. The dishes were generous and homemade. The terrace was pleasant and inviting.

20/08/2026: The galettes were good, with generous fillings. But we would appreciate a slightly more cheerful service from all the staff. What can I say about the young waitress I saw preparing a crêpe? She first took a small amount of the crêpe from the cook with her fingertips, then meticulously licked each finger. Next, she poured several spoonfuls of what I believe to be honey onto the crêpe, then thoroughly licked the spoon before putting it back in the jar. So much for hygiene!
