19/03/2026: Lovely establishment with a great spa area. The food is very good!

02/03/2026: Another great time spent at Hotel Les Peupliers, excellent food! Pleasant staff. The only downside was the spa; some people in front of us weren't really following the hygiene guidelines. Coming out of the hammam, all sweaty, they went straight into the jacuzzi. What's more, one of them didn't use a towel for the sauna... but it's difficult to enforce the rules despite the written instructions. Otherwise, everything else was very good.

09/08/2026: A very good meal (the classic fondue was excellent, and the fondue too – yes, we had fondue in August!) and above all, very friendly service and welcome. Good value for money. The sweet crepes are excellent. The shaded terrace is pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant!

20/08/2026: We booked and received a confirmation via text message. When we arrived on time, the owner informed us that he'd made a mistake with our reservation and kicked us out of the restaurant without any compensation, telling us that we'd easily find a restaurant (on a Monday evening). Unfortunately, that wasn't the case... We'd never been treated like this in such a highly rated restaurant in our life... The owner's response didn't reflect reality. For us, the problem wasn't that they'd made a mistake, which can happen to anyone, but how we were treated. We had to ask for compensation ourselves, but they sent us somewhere else, telling us that if a table became available at 9, we could eat there... With no guarantee whatsoever. I don't usually write anything but positive reviews, and we come to Briançon every year. We've never been treated like this in other restaurants.

19/02/2026: Hello, I knew the area but not this hotel. We had a group snowshoeing trip and received a very warm welcome. The meals were excellent, the rooms had beautiful views and were very clean. The food was high quality and plentiful, and to top it all off, the staff were pleasant and the owners always had a smile on their faces. We'll be back! Charly, Nature et Provence group

14/07/2026: Great place, the owner is very friendly, and the waiter from La Ciotat is very cool. The food is good quality and the prices remain reasonable despite the season. Large terrace with easy access for strollers and other people with reduced mobility. Nice and relaxed atmosphere next to the pool and at the foot of the ski lifts. Very good place to wait for your children's lessons at the ESF ski school right next door. Children's meals and games are available.

02/08/2026: Highly recommended for the food and service; the trout is truly a highlight here. The welcome and courtesy are top marks. We eat here every time we want to eat in Embrun. Restaurant-style cuisine disguised as a bistro. Parking is available and it's easy to get to from the city center. Reservations are recommended.

31/07/2026: We came for dinner on a Tuesday evening, and everything was excellent, just like it was 6 years ago when we were there last time. Pleasant service and a warm atmosphere; I highly recommend it! We'll be back with our second child, who's on the way 😉

26/07/2026: On the rooftop side (not the indoor restaurant), the prices are generally reasonable, and I found the tapas very good! The atmosphere and friendly welcome were great; I recommend it!

31/07/2026: A warm welcome in an equally warm setting! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and particularly appreciated the freshness of the local produce. We ordered the Ubaye raclette and the Risoul fondue, both excellent. Special mention goes to the desserts and the raspberry wine, which are also homemade!
