19/02/2026: Hello, I knew the area but not this hotel. We had a group snowshoeing trip and received a very warm welcome. The meals were excellent, the rooms had beautiful views and were very clean. The food was high quality and plentiful, and to top it all off, the staff were pleasant and the owners always had a smile on their faces. We'll be back! Charly, Nature et Provence group

17/10/2025: A nice, rustic cabin in a beautiful location. The rooms are a bit dated. They could use some improvements here and there. The outdoor dining area, right by the street, is noisy. The food is good. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is adequate.

24/09/2025: For us it is always a pleasure to stop at the Napoleon refuge, I can no longer count the number of times we had a drink there while soaking up the scenery with the small lake and the Col de Vars.🏔️⛰️ In summer in 🏍️ or in winter snowshoeing at the Vars resort nearby.

30/06/2026: A perfect place to stop for a break on the road, nestled in one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the Alps, or to spend the night, with a breathtaking view to wake up to. The welcome is excellent, warm, and full of thoughtful touches. Dinner, as well as the desserts and breakfast, are excellent and plentiful. Special mention goes to the blueberry tart. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, quiet, and clean. The bathrooms are rather rustic, but perfectly adequate. We've been several times already, and we'll definitely be back!

25/06/2026: Exceptional setting! The view from the room was amazing 👌 The owner was incredibly welcoming, even though we arrived in the rain on our motorcycles. We had a lovely, friendly time with the owner in the evening over dinner and a glass of genepi liqueur. Excellent meal, delicious tart ☺️ Remember to book in advance.

24/03/2026: Nice restaurant on the slopes and at the ski resort

16/03/2026: The meals were well-suited to the situation. Simple and hearty, served in a pleasant setting with efficient service. However, to get a drink, you had to carry your order to the bar (wearing ski boots). Not ideal for a large group, especially considering the prices should justify a minimum level of service.

05/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! A warm and welcoming restaurant with a fantastic team! The dishes were as delicious as they were beautiful!

07/06/2026: We came to eat with my son and I have rather mixed feelings… We were greeted politely, and we asked for the chef's suggestion… okay, but no prices were given, and in the end, it was €40 per person for a very basic meal… a ribeye steak with fries and ketchup for my son, which was charged at the price of morel sauce… bone marrow with its so-called black garlic purée (the size of a pea) and two croutons… the taste was okay, but nothing special… so, rather mixed feelings. We were expecting a high-end restaurant.

21/02/2026: Mimi and Nono are incredibly welcoming! The complimentary plate of fries that came with the 16 rounds of aperitifs brought our blood alcohol level down to just below 0.5 g/L, saving us 6 points. Despite this unfortunate incident, which could have ended very badly, the food is exceptional. The saucy dishes were so delicious we practically licked our plates clean. In fact, Mimi put them away just as they were. In short: a wonderful family can't compete with this inn (the owner too, he served us in his underwear). As you can tell, I highly recommend it. PS: If you get diarrhea, a bottle of Ricard is never far away (and it's free).

11/11/2025: Magnificent mountain pass, explored by motorcycle. Off-season, it's perfect. Beautiful views from the pass with panoramic vistas and wooden sun loungers for relaxing.

15/11/2025: A truly excellent dinner, perfect in every way. An inventive, seasonal menu featuring local produce and flawless execution. Impeccable service, all in a modern and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back.

04/04/2026: We stopped on the way to saint tropez. Pit stop based on Google reviews. What an amazing place. The matriarch was so sweet - felt like went to someone’s house. We all had the menu2 stake with salad and dessert. No photos because we ( wife + 2 kids ) gobbled the food.
