25/11/2025: The chef was extremely unpleasant to children, even when they were well-behaved. This was the first and last time I will ever return to this restaurant. I had a good impression of the restaurant before, but this gentleman's attitude has completely disgusted me now when I walk past it. I will absolutely not recommend your restaurant, which employs someone who is mean to children and has no understanding of customer service or courtesy.
28/10/2025: We were delighted by the quality of the dishes and dessert, but especially by the chef's warm welcome! He was incredibly friendly and welcoming!
His expertise was immediately evident in the dishes: a delicious chicken ballotine stuffed with mushroom duxelles and an apple clafoutis that was a true delight.
A wonderful discovery… a restaurant we highly recommend! 🍽✨

The mist spray was a great idea.
The meal was lovely, the setting was fantastic. Thanks again to our waitress. She put on a show for us, you're a wonderful person.

17/10/2025: A nice, rustic cabin in a beautiful location. The rooms are a bit dated. They could use some improvements here and there.
The outdoor dining area, right by the street, is noisy.
The food is good.
The staff is friendly.
Breakfast is adequate.
24/09/2025: For us it is always a pleasure to stop at the Napoleon refuge, I can no longer count the number of times we had a drink there while soaking up the scenery with the small lake and the Col de Vars.🏔️⛰️ In summer in 🏍️ or in winter snowshoeing at the Vars resort nearby.

26/08/2025: Disappointed with my experience, 4-5 reminders to several different people to try to get the cards to at least order a menu for our child, a duck breast served iced in the center with a tasteless morel sauce, it's a shame because the offer and the place are tempting. The server was very kind despite everything and the setting is very nice.
13/08/2025: The service wasn't great, and the food wasn't amazing either. Perhaps other users gave it 5 stars for the quick arrival of the water. However, 25 minutes to receive the menu is a bit long, even though it wasn't crowded. The burger was okay, the salad was good, and the fries weren't up to scratch.
The place, however, is super nice with the pool.

09/09/2024: We go there regularly and never disappointed...the owner is very friendly, the staff efficient, especially the young apprentice present this summer. Excellent pizzas, huge ice cream sundaes, and top mountain dishes! A beautiful terrace outside, a room for those who are cold, in short, go there with your eyes closed

27/08/2024: Lieu toujours aussi agréable pour boire un verre ou déjeuner ! Le service est très agréable et la cuisine tient sa promesse de produits frais savoureusement préparés ! L'ambiance est très agréable même si les guêpes viennent un peu gâcher la fête. Je recommande et y retournerai avec plaisir.

The fries were very good.
