22/06/2025: Good hotel in a strategic location for us in the French Alps. With 58 Dutch biker friends we were very hospitably received here with good rooms, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Also the shower was for me one of the best I have ever had anywhere. We will gladly come back here again.

12/02/2026: We had a lovely stay at the Hôtel Spa Les Autanes. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room was spacious, cozy, and comfortable. The windows had shutters, a real plus! We enjoyed the relaxation area. Having arrived just before the winter holidays, we were able to park easily.

08/02/2026: The restaurant was very welcoming, no complaints about the service, and the menu was excellent (a minor point: you need to reserve the brazier). However, there's plenty of choice on the evening menu, and the homemade desserts were superb. 👌 I highly recommend it with great pleasure.

25/02/2026: I'm not criticizing the restaurant itself, as I'm not involved. However, the bar situation is different. It's closed from 12 PM to 2 PM to focus on the restaurant. We arrived at 1:30 PM for a drink and were surprised to see that no tables had been cleared. We waited 10 minutes without anyone coming. Then we saw the sign on the door: "Closed." The other customers were complaining because, in the middle of peak season, the bar was closed from 12 PM to 2 PM. Furthermore, since all the glasses were dirty because they had been left on the uncleared tables, we were served in plastic cups. Oh yes, we had to go and get our drinks at the bar. Dear Owner, please remember that your customers are there to support you, and ignoring those who sit on the terrace for a drink at the expense of your restaurant is unprofessional.

28/02/2026: Okay, but really not customer-friendly! We came to eat as a family with our friends and our respective children. Honestly, avoid this place if you want to take your time over a meal. A money-making machine with a rushed meal. There are two seatings. If you arrive during the first seating, you won't get 10 minutes more after 9 pm. The owner speaking rudely to the employees in front of customers is already bad enough, but on top of that, the owner speaking rudely to customers in front of other customers is pathetic. And when we told him that we each ordered two aperitifs and a bottle of wine, he told us we were responsible for what we ordered. Really mediocre. I won't be back, and I don't recommend this restaurant despite the servers being truly lovely and the food being quite good. You didn't serve anything, sir. Your servers served despite your lack of respect for them. And this isn't about debating the possibility of two seatings, but about the lack of respect with which you speak to customers. Don't mention our four children when you're leaning on the bar all evening, barking orders at your servers as if they were nothing. You threw us out like we were nothing; our children hadn't even had their dessert! So yes, kudos to your servers and kitchen staff, but sir, you don't deserve any praise.

28/02/2026: A very bad experience. We were asked to leave, along with several other tables, just after 9 pm, without any prior notification during the reservation that we absolutely had to leave to allow for a second seating. When you reserve a large table, a little transparency would be the least you could expect. The manager speaks very rudely to both customers and staff, bordering on disrespectful. The atmosphere is tense and definitely not pleasant if you're looking to have a good time. Fortunately, the waitstaff are very understanding and friendly. Thank you to them for their professionalism despite the situation. If you're looking for a restaurant where the welcome and atmosphere are as important as the food, look elsewhere. During peak season, it would be better to spend your money at establishments that show more respect for their customers.

18/10/2025: Charming place, natural beers and traditional cuisine by definition. Without a doubt, if you have done a peak, a hike or just want to treat yourself, you have to stop at alphand. Very friendly staff. We didn't have time to take the photo, the food flew by 😛😆

29/09/2025: We came for lunch on Saturday and had a very, very good meal. The food was very good and very well prepared. We each had a Caesar salad, a blueberry tart, a real delight, and two scoops of ice cream. The welcome was excellent, and even better for the welcome from your wonderful dog (I don't know her name ;). Thanks to you, we had a very pleasant time in your restaurant. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

01/03/2026: A nice restaurant in Orcières-Merlette, with a pleasant atmosphere and welcoming, smiling staff. The service was friendly, although a little slow during our visit. Opinions are mixed: my husband really enjoyed it, while I found the food decent but nothing special. A minor drawback was the children's menu, which could be improved in quality (the nuggets were rather poor). Nevertheless, it remains a friendly place for a simple meal while in the resort.

28/02/2026: Very good restaurant, service was quite fast considering how busy it was, the galettes were very good, and the crêpes were excellent. The waiters were also pleasant. Thank you!
