It simply wasn't up to par (the pâté and chorizo ​​were entry-level); the sausage was somewhat redeeming, but in a region so rich in charcuterie, it's a real shame.

A superb hotel in a beautiful setting overlooking the Brèche de Roland – peaceful and serene. Secondly, congratulations to the Chef and his sous-chef; the cuisine was full of flavor and refined – a true delight for our taste buds. The breakfast was generous, and let's not forget the very pleasant waiter. We will gladly return; there is so much more to discover in this magnificent region of the Pyrenees. 24/03/2026: At Maurette's, you'll find traditional cuisine in a rustic setting that reminds me of my grandmother. The dishes are prepared with care and love, using ingredients Maurette sources herself from the market. The blanquette, in particular, brings back childhood memories. It's not the chic of fine dining establishments, but it's simple, honest food, full of memories, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere. For all these reasons, I give it four stars.
