26/07/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! I highly recommend it! The quality and quantity were perfect! I find the previous review excessive, criticizing everything from the aperitif to the dessert, even going so far as to criticize the waitresses. Furthermore, it's misleading to say it costs 60 to 70 euros per person. In short, this is someone who's relentlessly attacking this restaurant and apparently has nothing better to do... What a shame. Thank you anyway for the warm welcome and the lovely time we had! Keep up the good work!

05/05/2026: A well-located hotel for a stopover or short stay in the Pyrenees. Simple rooms but comfortable beds. Generous, home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Very warm welcome; a place we recommend.

14/04/2026: Dinner and breakfast were great. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but there was no handrail. The second bed was very cramped.

10/07/2026: This isn't the same great place we knew from the previous owners; the food is bad, the service is poor, and the owner wanders around the dining room with nothing to do. We saw the cook leave before we did. I strongly advise against it.

06/06/2026: Disappointing considering the site's rating! We were disappointed by the quality of the food. The rib-eye steaks were too fatty, the fish tasted reheated and wasn't very fresh, the profiteroles tasted stale and mass-produced, and the chocolate was spoiled. It's a shame there was no homemade cooking or desserts. The service was pleasant.

30/07/2026: Best brunch/breakfast of my life ⭐️ Everything was excellent. The fruit, the bread on the buns and bagels, the fresh eggs, and the super hot drinks were all 10/10. Inside, it's quiet and peaceful 😌

26/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the inn. The welcome was friendly and warm. The meals were excellent, made with fresh, local, and homemade ingredients. And all at a reasonable price. I thank the manager for her hospitality and kindness. I highly recommend it.

24/04/2026: Really nice and cosy hotel, the rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. The restaurant is good and food tasty with good price. We travel with kids and the staff was really friendly and prepare the babycot and several accesorios like changing mat or bottle warmer to make our stay easier. Location

13/06/2026: Beautifully presented and delicious, but unfortunately there were too many bones in the trout fillet... and too many flies.

07/06/2026: We went for dinner and ordered a hamburger. It was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant; there were people there, and the place is centrally located in town. However, there were over a million flies that didn't let us eat in peace, and we had to cover our beer glasses with our phones to keep any from falling in. That's why I'm giving it a low rating, because the owner allowed all those insects in the place.

15/04/2026: A superb discovery. Honestly, I'm speechless. Well, almost. Superb. Exquisite and refined cuisine, professional and efficient service, a truly welcoming atmosphere. The best thing to do is go and experience it for yourself.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch menu at €56 per person. The location is very pleasant, as is the terrace. The outdoor chairs are too low for the tables and could use some cushions. The rap music coming from the kitchen somewhat spoils the atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients was there, but the price/menu ratio was a bit too high for my taste.

21/07/2026: A truly authentic place, it's like stepping back in time. This inn has been in the same family for four generations. At lunchtime today, the 95-year-old grandmother was still washing up. The menu was enormous, everything homemade. In short, we loved it.

29/07/2026: The dinner we had was truly excellent. I personally enjoyed the succulent sweetbreads, and the other guests all thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The fresh, high-quality ingredients were cooked to perfection. The welcome was very pleasant, and the dining room was charming. In this heatwave, it was so nice to eat in a cool place. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.

22/07/2026: We had lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered à la carte, but the restaurant also offers a very appealing set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €23 at lunchtime. The ravioli was delicious. The service was excellent as well.

10/07/2026: For over 15 years we've been coming to Le Relais de Piau, winter and summer alike, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉.
