21/05/2026: Honestly, I have no complaints about the food; it was simple, efficient, and quite good. However, the service was terrible. To begin with, we were kept waiting even though we had a reservation and the table we were seated at had been free since our arrival. But never mind that. The worst part was the waitress. She was a disaster. Our drinks arrived after our main courses, and we must have been bothering her; she clearly didn't want to serve us. Menus were practically thrown on the table as if we were on our own. I've never seen anything like it. At one point, when we had finished our meal a good twenty minutes earlier, I had to get up to go see the woman who was drinking a Coke and chatting with the bartenders. I think we were clearly bothering her and the other customers. The cherry on top was that we ordered two "café gourmand" (gourmet coffees), which were supposed to include a slice of brownie, a madeleine, and, most importantly, crème brûlée, my favorite dessert. Instead, I received fromage blanc with red fruit coulis. Incredibly, the waitress didn't even tell us that there was no more crème brûlée in the "café gourmand" and that it had been replaced with fromage blanc and red fruit coulis (which I hate). It was truly terrible, an experience I definitely don't recommend, at least not with this waitress, as she was incredibly disrespectful. I hope she gets some training in service and catering because she really needs to rethink everything. It was simply catastrophic and unworthy of a restaurant. Regarding the manager, who clearly didn't appreciate our feedback about the unpleasant experience we had, the worst part is that the food itself is actually quite good and enjoyable, despite a few slightly damaged plates—honestly, no complaints there—but the service really needs improvement, especially the waitress's performance. Such behavior is unacceptable. If you don't enjoy this job, change careers and let true professionals take over. Not only are you ruining the service, but you're also making things difficult for everyone.

21/05/2026: We came to have a nice time with friends. While the food was decent, the welcome and service were disastrous. The waitress made us wait 15 minutes, even though we had a reservation, without apologizing, when she came to seat us, even though a colleague offered to seat us, which she refused (I have no problem waiting if it's done respectfully, but that wasn't the case here, especially since her colleague had offered her a solution). The waitress asked us what we wanted without us even touching the menus, and when we finally got them, we realized we were missing the aperitif menu, which annoyed the waitress when we asked what they had. After a long wait, we received our main courses before our aperitifs. It was a strange way of doing things, but I refused to have my aperitif served in a dirty glass (with foam and fingerprints). We had to ask for a replacement glass. Once we finished our meals, we were ignored for quite some time; no one cleared our plates or offered us dessert. When we went to ask if it would be possible to clear them and see the dessert menu, the waitress was calmly sitting at the bar, drinking and chatting with the waiter. No problem staying hydrated, but in the middle of a busy service, you have to take care of the customers and relax after your shift. Our plates were never cleared; her colleague had to do it, but she did deign to offer us dessert. We asked her for water, which never arrived. She was back relaxing at the bar while the other customers waited to be served. While the other servers were professional and helpful in the few instances we saw them, this person who served us was unpleasant and extremely rude. I don't want the restaurant's reputation to be tarnished by one person's actions, but it's not normal for someone like that to do such rigorous and humane work.

11/05/2026: We discovered this tea room yesterday and it was a wonderful find. A warm and welcoming place, the owner is very kind. The pastries are excellent, made by her husband who is a pastry chef. The wild blueberry tart was delicious, and the strawberry cake was very good. We loved it and will definitely be back. A must-visit if you're in Bagnères (next to Aquensis).

24/05/2026: What can I say… there was a huge cockroach in the toilets, we ordered warm goat cheese salads where we didn't get the bacon, even though it was listed in the ingredients. They gave us olive oil as a dressing… it was the worst salad of my life!

The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉. 05/05/2026: We've had the pleasure of stopping at Les Marmottes several times, both in summer and winter, and it's always a real treat ⛰️ In winter, under the snow, the atmosphere is magical: few people, a peaceful setting, perfect for taking a break and warming up with a nice hot drink ☕️ In summer, it's a completely different atmosphere, much more lively! The restaurant is extremely popular (and you quickly understand why), so it's best to plan ahead and book if possible. Even so, the wait is pleasant: there are shaded outdoor tables and a small bar where you can enjoy a drink while taking in the surroundings 🌿 The location is ideal, with a large, easily accessible parking lot and, above all, an absolutely stunning 360° view of the Pyrenees, with animals roaming freely all around… an incredible setting 🐄 Inside, you'll find yourself in a true mountain restaurant: all wood, warm, and welcoming. The staff are very dedicated, energetic, and genuinely friendly, even when it's busy. As for the food, it's flawless: local, homemade dishes that are generous and delicious. The portions are substantial, colorful, and well-balanced… we tried several dishes, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them from start to finish 🍽️ Whether for a quick bite or a truly indulgent experience, it's a place we always return to with pleasure. A wonderful stop, as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate ✨

23/04/2026: We've been bereft since it closed. Claude had done a great job succeeding Serge, with whom we also got along very well. It's sad to visit Le Soulor without having eaten there, and without experiencing the wonderful atmosphere that used to be there.

15/02/2026: One evening, we made a reservation at L’Authentique, a restaurant I highly recommend. The food is excellent, especially the very tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat served with forest-style potatoes. The portions are very generous, and the desserts are delicious. The staff is very friendly and all gentlemen, which I think is a great touch. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the team.

15/04/2026: It was lovely to have lunch at the foot of the golf course, on the terrace overlooking the green. We enjoyed some good food; the children's menus were also good, though a bit pricey. The ice cream was a hit, while the gourmet coffees were rather basic. I can also confirm that we found the owner very friendly.
