16/05/2026: A wonderful experience. The meal was excellent and the staff were incredibly attentive. We highly recommend it.

13/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay for our minimoon. The Saint Martin family are exceptionally helpful and welcoming – truly attentive hosts. They even prepared a delicious dinner for us on Monday evening when the restaurant was closed. A special mention goes to the eggs with bacon at breakfast (a real treat!). Despite the unpredictable weather, they recommended some superb hikes and were even kind enough to lend us a rain jacket, as we weren't properly equipped. Truly lovely people, which makes all the difference. We came on the recommendation of my parents – and we will definitely return. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. Finally, don't miss the Bistrot de l’Abbaye, run by the family: perfect for a more relaxed lunch or dinner, but just as delicious.

21/01/2026: Everyone should come to this restaurant. Everything is homemade. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the set menus (starter, main course, dessert) for €19 are incredibly affordable—unbeatable compared to other sit-down restaurants. We highly recommend it. Go for it!

18/05/2026: We were warmly welcomed, and it wasn't too crowded. There was a bit of a wait to be served as there was only one person in the kitchen, but they managed well. We ate burgers which were very good. The blueberry tart was also good, but the cream puffs were stale.

06/04/2026: The service was so slow that I left after 25 minutes without being served. The waiter's blatant unprofessionalism will make me avoid this establishment from now on. And don't tell me it was because of the crowd: other people who arrived after me were served before me. It's a shame we can't give zero stars.

15/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at this establishment. We went in for coffee, but after looking at the menu, we decided to have lunch. The staff is very welcoming, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the restaurant is very well located, slightly removed from the crowds near the sanctuary, allowing for a more peaceful experience.

05/04/2026: The picture of this glass is on the menu (freshly squeezed orange juice), and yet they serve you a Granini in an Ikea glass. I find that unacceptable.

31/05/2026: We had the misfortune of arriving at 9:59 a.m. to find the door open, and we were curtly told to come back at 10:00 a.m. So we returned a minute later, and the same woman said aloud, and I quote: "It's time, I'm going to open it for the poor." It was truly shocking. A shame, because the place itself is very pleasant.

10/04/2026: I'm a big fan of this place. It's not my first time. It's well-organized and efficient: you don't have to wait in line long without a reservation, and you're seated very quickly. The suckling pig was delicious. The servers have a great sense of humor, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend it.

02/03/2026: So, how can I put it?! This restaurant has absolutely no authenticity. The garbure (cabbage soup) was disgusting, tasted like vinegar, it was awful. I even had a stomach ache that same evening. And the "Puit d'Amour" (Well of Love) dessert? Honestly, it was just ice cream with cream on top for 11 euros. Seriously, avoid this restaurant; it has nothing authentic about it, not even the owner, the cook, or the waitress. Look elsewhere; there are real mountain restaurants in Cauterets.
