12/05/2026: The good points: The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The billiard room is open 24/7. The bad points: The staff is unfriendly. There was no heating in the room (it was 2 degrees Celsius at night), we were very cold.

13/03/2026: We had a reservation for six and arrived five minutes early. However, the table hadn't been prepared beforehand, and we felt like we were intruding! One of the servers went to get a table from outside and put it at the end of another, which blocked the flow of other customers. There was also a lack of ventilation, a loose electrical cable above the door, and poor hygiene... And let's not even mention the waitress who must have lost her smile and friendliness on the slopes. But their pizzas, at least, were good!

13/03/2026: A bad experience at this place, which looked visually inviting. There was a remarkable lack of friendliness, as if we were bothering them, even though we had booked two days in advance. No compensation was offered for changing a dish. They don't accept criticism, which could be beneficial for future improvements. While some dishes were good, others remain to be seen in terms of quantity and quality. Furthermore, hygiene is questionable: the restaurant was disorganized, cramped, and lacked ventilation! Very unpleasant. The dishwashing area was in a deplorable state, and the kitchen wasn't much better. Even though this place is supposed to be a convivial spot for enjoying a good raclette, the lack of ventilation... I unfortunately cannot recommend it.

25/05/2026: We went for a drink; the setting by the Gabe River was very pleasant. We tried to book a dinner reservation, but being in the shoulder season, the menu choices were limited.

10/05/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The waiter (owner?) greeted us with a toothpick in his mouth… We were told about items being out of stock when the menu was presented. Okay, lots of items were out of stock, but that was acceptable… We ordered, and when I ordered my wok, I was told they were out of stock, even though initially it said 2 out of 5 were unavailable. Well, that was awkward because there weren't many options left that interested me. Anyway, we asked for white wine. No wine list, apparently they'd changed the menu. Okay, they offered us only one bottle or a carafe. We accepted the bottle. It wasn't cold at all! This is getting tiresome… The man was still chewing on his toothpick. We waited for our order. It was taking forever. We finally got our food: an €0.18 burger with a pathetic, industrial cheddar cheese, half a disgusting, squashed hamburger patty (made to look like a whole patty), and a tiny bit of salad. Half the plate was cold!! A disgrace! 18 euros!! They should at least justify it, and clearly they didn't! This meal was a disaster. My husband paid a bill for a bottle of wine and five courses totaling €120. We consumed, we paid, fine! But that's it. It's a shame, we come to St. Lary very regularly, and we're loyal to places where we receive good service. It won't be at your place! Customers, you want to eat well and get your money's worth! Go to La Galette d'Or, ICC, Le Central, and other restaurants just next door!

04/05/2026: It was incredibly long. And yet, we ate at this restaurant outside of peak hours. Luckily, my child was very patient! We arrived around 12:20 PM and at 1:13 PM, still nothing! We didn't order anything complicated; everything was on the menu. Finally, the food arrived, and disaster struck! The vegetables were far too vinegary! We couldn't eat them. So we left. No apologies, no attempt to find a solution... We won't be back.

25/01/2026: A wonderful evening in St. Lary. Warm and cozy mountain decor with a great fireplace area for pre-dinner drinks. Excellent all-you-can-eat buffet: tartiflette reimagined as cabriflette (a delight!), quality local produce, and a Baked Alaska to die for! Smiling, professional, and super efficient staff 🤩.

12/05/2026: Very disappointed for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are dirty, the mattress is rock hard. The breakfast is really disappointing for the price. We ate at the hotel brasserie; it took over 20 minutes for the starter, and we hadn't even finished it before the main course arrived. The underground parking garage has a 2-meter clearance and is extremely narrow! €22 per day. This 4-star hotel is not worth the price. The only positive point is the hotel's location.

10/05/2026: The hotel is listed as 4 stars but it is 3 stars at best. After the first night the toilet smelled of urine. The bathtub had holes in it so you couldn’t have a bath, also the shower wouldn’t stay up and kept sliding down spraying water everywhere. Bath towels were like sand paper, great for exfoliating! Breakfast was Okay… but not 4 star quality. Staff on reception and in the downstairs restaurant were very friendly. Bar staff were a bit hit and miss. Reception area looks 4 stars but the rest of the building was 3 stars at the most. The Rooms were warm and quiet and I did sleep well but I wouldn’t give it four stars. Would I book there again? Probably not.

09/02/2026: Nothing in the pastry shop seems homemade, and the tea room area doesn't feel very welcoming. The service is really mediocre... keep walking.

28/12/2025: Absolutely no taste, bland even sickening for a blueberry tart and a brookie. Expensive products, unprofessional seller who doesn't know how long it will take for his bread to bake 🤔
