21/04/2026: This person plays their music so loud it disturbs the neighbors. It used to be just on Fridays, now it's all weekend and some weekdays too. It's becoming shameful. The police will be notified because this is causing a noise disturbance at night.

25/06/2026: A bar I highly recommend in Montpellier! From the food and service to the atmosphere, Black Cat has become one of my favorite bars in Montpellier. The terrace on a lovely square is truly delightful. The servers are efficient and cheerful. I come here regularly and I'm never disappointed. The value for money is always excellent, and I appreciate the atmosphere, the pool table, and the darts. The staff is very friendly!

14/06/2026: A 30-minute wait and not even a carafe of water; the dishes were dirty, and instead of simply apologizing and changing them, the waiter replied, "Well, these things happen." The food was decent but nothing special, but the service was worse than mediocre.

23/05/2026: Great restaurant in a lively square. They offer mussels prepared in various ways. The service is very friendly and attentive, even to tourists. The mussel dishes are definitely good value for money. If you enjoy mussels, this is the place to go!

06/05/2026: In the middle of our stag do, we stopped around 11 pm to share a delightful moment, where time seemed to stand still in this little eatery. The duo Chris and José treated us to a brilliant one-man show, with staging that would make even the greatest filmmakers envious.

31/05/2026: I went to the casino yesterday and had a reasonably good experience. The security guards don't smile much, but if you speak to them in English and ask a question while smiling, they're happy to smile back. Also, the slot machines aren't exactly the newest, but the automated roulette table was quite cool, as was the blackjack table. They could have easily opened two blackjack tables with a minimum bet of two euros. The dress code was short jeans and a polo shirt, and unfortunately, the people playing there are like zombies, glued to the machines.

28/05/2026: The casino was fine, however, it should have been mentioned at the entrance that the restaurant was closed.

11/11/2025: A wonderful time! We ate very well; everything was delicious from start to finish. The owners are lovely, welcoming, and always smiling, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and friendly. Even the other customers are friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A fantastic place to recommend without hesitation!

25/05/2026: Upon arrival, we were told the tables by the canals were reserved, but we were seated elsewhere. Two minutes later, two couples who, like us, hadn't made a reservation, were seated by the canals. Then we were served linguine with a tasteless sauce, supermarket bacon, and industrially produced, truly tasteless cannelloni. An Italian restaurant, but without Italy. Very disappointed.

21/05/2026: We went there to eat the famous Sète macaronade. We weren't disappointed. A very attentive team provided us with a typical meal.

05/10/2025: The waitress was very friendly and did her best, but she seemed a bit overwhelmed. It might be more practical to process payments all at once to avoid making customers wait too long and blocking the exit. On the other hand, I was disappointed by the quality of the food. The butternut squash soup was a misnomer: it was full of chunks, making it unpleasant to eat. The main course, meanwhile, seemed to be made with cheap, supermarket-quality ingredients, which is a shame for a restaurant. The place has potential, but the quality of the ingredients really needs improvement.

17/03/2026: The restaurant has good reviews, and deservedly so. The main course was truly delicious (chicken en papillote with preserved lemon, served with vegetables and dauphinoise potatoes). The price was very reasonable (€13.50). The dessert (a chocolate mousse duo) was also very good, but the portion was quite small. At €6.50 for that portion, it felt expensive. The table layout was a drawback, with tables very close together, especially for those eating opposite. The menu features many fish and seafood dishes, so be aware if, like me, you don't eat seafood. The unlimited still and sparkling water included with the meal was definitely a plus.
