01/10/2024: A stone's throw from Chenonceau, spacious and very well equipped rooms. The breakfast is exceptional.

31/07/2024: The one staff member there was very friendly. But they were understaffed for the relatively large tourist crowd they had the night we stayed there. Also there was no one answering the phone or at the front desk until 4 PM though the website said someone would be there after 8 AM.

30/08/2024: A bar as we like them, in a pleasant atmosphere of a small provincial town. Authentic, almost timeless France!

19/07/2024: Disappointing, restaurant to avoid if you have scoliosis given the state of the furniture, The dishes are tasteless, bordering on cold and not very filling Half of the desserts are not available However, if you are a rock fan, the chef will be happy to give you a concert!! Bordering on ridicule and lack of respect for customers on the terrace... The only positive point: the very pleasant and smiling waitresses, when will they come from the restaurant when they are no longer there?!

23/03/2024: Great discovery, restaurant which offers little choice, a guarantee of quality, everything is made in house. What is not homemade is notifiable. We had the green pepper terrine as a starter. The quantity did not disappoint us! The beef was tender, the home fries cooked in duck fat were very good. Well done to the cooks. We enjoyed our evening in this establishment.

01/09/2024: Magnificent restaurant with an incredible terrace overlooking the castle walls, very friendly and kind staff, the meal was incredible, it was all very good, the only small thing was the desserts were not up to the standard of the dishes served.

13/08/2024: Arrivés en groupe de 8 en vélo,nous avons été accueillis avec bonne humeur et humour. Elles nous on ouvert l'arrière coure pour les vélos. Après cet accueil on se perd dans une carte non pas immense mais gourmande. Salée ou sucrée les galettes sont top. Le décors du resto est sobre et harmonieux. Merci pour ce super moment.

09/07/2024: Toujours un régal de venir dans cette crêperie, pour nous une des meilleurs de Tours. De plus l accueil est très chaleureux donc c'est toujours un plaisir.

16/09/2024: Un peu déçu. Tartare un peu fade. Et crème brûlée pas prise et trop liquide. Sinon accueil sympa et cadre impeccable. Peut-être mal tombé...

23/08/2024: We didn't make any reservations, but they politely accommodated us. I had the wild duck but I find it a bit tough. My friend had a big salad with gizzards. That is apparently quite tasty.

09/09/2024: Grabbed lunch here after a morning at Chenonceaux. Ham and cheese baguette, pasta salad and yummy apple tart. Friendly service.

11/07/2024: Simple home cooking place in a modern building. I *think* but I'm not sure that they only offer lunch. I believe their menu changes daily. Today they offered a fish, a chicken breast, coq au vin, and a beef dish. I'll tell you who was eating there. The fire department was eating there. The street crew was working there. All the locals were there and they were enjoying themselves. As Mike mentioned, the menu is not written. The waitress comes to your table and tells you what's available. Time to practice your French :-) They do not speak English. I had the coq au vin which was served with noodles with butter and parsley. With a glass of wine, Euros 16. The person who complained about value, I don't know how to respond. Maybe his mom could do better. Simple home cooking, and it was welcome. I would absolutely return.

28/08/2024: Das Ambiente im Innenhof ist sehr schön. Der Service ist freundlich distanziert, aber eher geschäftsmäßig. Das Essen war enttäuschend. Die Hauptspeise (Magret de Canard) war quasi ungewürzt, das Fleisch überhaupt nicht kross. Insgesamt eine sehr überschaubare Portion, leider alles in allem ziemlich enttäuschend. Der Nachtisch war okay, aber in Summe hat es alles nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht.
