19/08/2026: I've tried to visit the establishment several times, as it was supposedly open according to online information, however… no luck, the place is closed…. I have no ill intentions, just a suggestion that the opening hours be updated to avoid any misunderstanding… I wish you a very nice day :)!

11/08/2026: A very disappointing experience, unfortunately! The attitude of the owner and the cook leaves much to be desired: a lack of respect, courtesy, and professionalism towards the customers. Plus, the dishes were far too expensive! On the other hand, much credit to the servers and the young kitchen staff, who are doing their best in these circumstances. They sincerely deserve to be commended for their patience and professionalism!

02/06/2026: The location is lovely and Christopher (I could have the gentleman’s name wrong) was delightful. The lady serving us was distinctly unpleasant. While she may only speak French it is body language that makes up 80% of speech. She was unpleasant and made the whole experience uncomfortable. The starters were lovely but the pork very dry. I requested we take our cheese plate back to our hotel and it was put in a container that was covered in dirty greasy hands. Of course we paid for the full dinner, we were not offered to take the desserts home. We are guests, in your country and love to visit France but we are your guests in your restaurant and should be treated with kindness, respect and a little patience.

29/08/2026: Very friendly and efficient staff. The waffles and crepes were delicious and reasonably priced. Perfect for a cozy afternoon snack.

23/08/2026: €4.20 for a frozen waffle and a measly spoonful of Nutella is quite disappointing.

12/02/2026: I just discovered it. I recommend it. Good value for money. The daily special was excellent. And the gourmet coffee was even more gourmet than gourmet.

27/01/2026: I went to eat lunch today, there were very few fries. The piece of meat was too small. In my opinion, it said on the board that it was a 200g piece of beef, I was told that the pieces were standardized at 180g, but there wasn't even 180g.

30/08/2026: I've been going to this pizzeria for a few years now. The pizzas are good, the service is good (very few mistakes). The wait time varies depending on the time of day. It's well located. They regularly have new items on the menu.

07/08/2026: Hello, I didn't like it at all because the meat was dry, there was rice on the kebab plate, your colleague was blasting his phone, in short, one star.

25/08/2026: We sat down at a table around 2:00 PM. A very friendly waitress brought us menus, napkins/cutlery, and the daily specials board. We waited about twenty minutes, and then a waiter came to tell us that the kitchen was closed and that we wouldn't be able to eat. We expressed our surprise at this unexpected turn of events. He offered to have, and I quote, "the Manager" come over to explain. I told him that if the Manager was coming to see us, it would be better if she were there to offer a solution. She came right up to us, "attacking" us, "yelling" at us, and blaming us—unbelievable! I tried to talk to her calmly and explain the situation, but she wasn't open to a friendly or sensible conversation. Very unpleasant and with absolutely no sense of customer service. She also seemed unwilling to admit her mistakes, or those of the restaurant, of which she is apparently the manager. Customers witnessed the scene and even came to see us afterward to offer their support.

18/08/2026: There were four of us without a reservation for dinner on August 17th. The waiters were able to find us a table on the terrace. There was a bit of a wait, but at least we weren't forced to finish our aperitifs during the meal, as is the case in other establishments that serve too quickly. The food is excellent, hence the 5 stars...

15/09/2026: What they don't tell you. You have to pay an entrance fee to the castle to access the restaurant; they call that a hidden fee. I call that extortion.

08/09/2026: L'Orangerie offers an all-you-can-eat menu. The dishes are exquisite and I was delighted. The service is excellent. All this in a refined setting, surrounded by nature, with a view of the Château Chenonceau.

27/08/2026: A slim, blonde waitress with glasses was extremely unpleasant twice on the same day, August 27, 2026 😒 (3 pm and 6 pm). She didn't even greet me and made a cold reprimand because she was the only one working… I still recommend the establishment for its ambiance, as there's a similar restaurant in Orléans, where I've had a pleasant experience on two separate occasions.

26/08/2026: While waiting for a friend to leave from the bus station, we went for a drink. We sat on the terrace and received impeccable service. We were served by a very pleasant young woman with a charming accent, perhaps Brazilian... she'll know who she is. The rest of the team was absolutely fantastic. The fries that came with it were amazing! Bravo! 👍
