25/06/2026: Excellent restaurant in Le Coteau. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The dishes are delicious and generous. Local cuisine made with local ingredients. Definitely a great place that I highly recommend. Just be aware that parking isn't always easy on the main street.

15/09/2026: Always a pleasure to have lunch at the ramparts! The daily menu was excellent, with flavorful and well-seasoned dishes. The floating island dessert was certainly homemade and quite generous. Impeccable service. Good value for money. Don't hesitate to go!

15/09/2026: Honestly, I was more than pleasantly surprised; the food is excellent. The foie gras is delicious. The fresh goat cheese salad is a delight. We then had the chef's burger with pulled beef. Absolutely amazing. The waiter/owner was funny, friendly, and very professional. A truly excellent place.

13/09/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant several times; the welcome is always warm, the chef makes excellent traditional dishes, and as soon as you take a bite, you want to stay and try everything. Plus, the menus are varied. Honestly, it's a great place. I recommend it to anyone in Firminy or just passing through who's looking for a cozy and elegant place to eat. 🫶🏽❤️

09/08/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant. When I was younger, I often walked past it, and it was always packed, and I understand why now. The dishes are incredibly sophisticated and excellent; I don't think I've ever eaten so well! The portions are perfect, the quality of the ingredients is evident, and the service was impeccable. They're so discreet, you hardly notice them, and they're so friendly and welcoming! And the outdoor setting is magnificent, shaded by a large tree that keeps us cool during the heatwave! Thank you for this exceptional service. You can congratulate all the staff, from the waiters to the kitchen staff. Bravo to everyone for this very pleasant experience! 🌸🌼♥️

30/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome from a friendly and helpful person. We had a wonderful meal, delicious homemade food, perfectly prepared – everything was excellent. A place to remember and well worth a visit, especially since it's in the heart of the village – a lovely location. We sat on the terrace, which was very pleasant and peaceful.

We had a wonderful time at Auberge à la Ferme du Vernat! 😋 🍽️ The food was delicious and generous. 😊 The waiter was very pleasant, smiling, and attentive… so don't hesitate to leave a small tip 🤣🤣, he definitely deserves it! 🌿 The setting is very pleasant, perfect for a relaxing time. 👏 And the owner is very friendly and welcoming! In short, a great find! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! 👍🍷

26/08/2026: Had my best friend’s cocktail party here last week, and honestly, what a beautiful spot. The food was absolutely amazing, with a great selection of drinks, delicious dishes, and desserts that were to die for. I even tried frogs for the first time, surprisingly delicious. A special shoutout to Thomas, who was such a fantastic and attentive server. He made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend.

01/09/2026: A quality meal and excellent potato pancakes were unfortunately spoiled by the waitress's attitude (a brunette with a butterfly tattoo on her neck). From the start, she was condescending and answered us in a very curt tone. We asked, just in case, if my son could have a hamburger on its own instead of the children's menu (we were ready to pay the price of a whole burger!), but she told us they didn't have a hamburger for him (even though several hamburger burgers were on the menu...). We had asked for the children to be served while we ate our appetizers, but the waitress brought their main course last, after serving all six of us (appetizers and then main courses)! We often take our children to restaurants with us and have never experienced anything like this. We were very disappointed with the service at this inn, which we had enjoyed on previous occasions. We won't be returning because of this waitress, which is a shame.
