19/11/2024: Recently reopened with oriental specialties on the menu, couscous in particular. There were 4 of us who had couscous and had to ask for more semolina immediately after the service because it was too little per person. They did re-serve a small dish of semolina but it was charged €4!?!? Then the pieces of meat are riquiqui, beef skewers with 4 pieces of meat. Vegetables and sauces that we do not repeat because there too it is fair. I had a royal couscous and the price was €26, I had a picon beer as an aperitif and it was served in a Jupiler glass as is and without even something to nibble on for the 4 aperitifs! More than 25€! And not a peanut 🥜 Customer once not twice! Too bad because the place is nice.

17/06/2024: What the hell is this *** I will never go eat there again!

15/06/2024: We ordered 2 croissants, 1 cappuccino and 1 hot chocolate here. It was in fact their croissants were the first croissants we ever had in France. We were not disappointed, it was so soft, crunchy and elastic. We were joking about how we have been eating the "fake" croissants back at home the whole time because this tasted so much better. The staffs were very friendly and speak English. I am so thankful for this because I do not think they could understand our broken French otherwise. We would definitely come back if we have chance visit Lille again.

11/10/2024: Too good! YUM But I will probably never come back because it is TOO EXPENSIVE. I'll just stick to pasta with butter too bad...

09/10/2024: Honestly, I love the restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing, but unfortunately the prices keep going up. It's really disgusting for a brand that was originally intended for students.

17/09/2024: Excellent, great atmosphere, superb selection of beers. Pleasant staff especially the new young guy who looks like Eminem. The cutest dog in Lille who welcomes you. And in addition to the zany evenings which remind me of Palermo. The bonus being the memorable Tostyboi concert followed by the zyz DJ set! 5/5 nothing to complain about 🤯🔥🔥🔥

26/07/2024: Perfect little cozy place where everyone talks to each other, where the shooters are successful and where the service is above the rest. Tested after work on a Thursday evening.

22/06/2024: De l'art de gâcher une bonne soirée. Je suis outrée par votre attitude Monsieur le directeur. Vous n'arrivez pas à la cheville de vos serveurs qui eux sont de vrais professionnels. J'ai eu la mauvaise idée de vouloir manger un crabe que j'ai payé 42 euros !!! Le double du prix affiché sur la carte pour un tourteau d'environ 400 grammes. Vous avez ajouté au crayon de papier de façon illisible que finalement le prix indiqué vaut pour un demi tourteau. Vous avez le culot de m'inviter à mettre mes lunettes. Je n'en porte pas Monsieur le directeur. Et on n'est pas chez Mac Donald's. Là où vous meritteriez de travailler. Je plains ceux qui travaillent pour vous, vous n'êtes vraiment pas à la hauteur, ni à l'image de ce qu'a pu être cette brasserie que nous fréquentons depuis longtemps.

24/10/2024: Joli restaurant, bien décoré. Mais 1h d'attente pour les plats, un midi en semaine avec une salle à peine à moitié. L'excuse : désolé ils ne sont que 2 en cuisine! Donc selon moi 3 possibilités : soit on embauche, soit on réduit de moitié la clientèle, soit et c'est un minimum, on avertis les clients à leur arrivée, qu'il yaura bcp d'attente (ce qu'on ne nous as pas prévenu). Dommage, nous n'irons plus. C'était une première et une dernière et nous ne recommanderons pas ce restaurant, qui pourtant mériterai mieux!

20/11/2024: Absolutely avoid catering unless you are a fan of frozen foods, fatty and tough meat and industrial cakes! Watch out for the little rascal who is not smiling and who is watching you via camera!!

04/11/2024: This was a charming setting in an old chateau. It has an actual moat with waterfowl. Our room was huge. It had a proper king size bed and a second room with a futon for our daughter. The bed was comfortable with great views of the garden. The staff was friendly. They had a small but fresh breakfast. We were staying in the off season and I imagine they would have more options when they have more guests. The only thing I did not love is that our room must have been above the kitchen. The part my daughter was staying in particularly smelled like croutons baking.

27/08/2024: 1 person who does reception, service and cooking is impossible to manage.. Huge wait and lots of errors. The quality of the meal was poor, see photo. Not possible to pay at the end because the cash register was closed. Why close the register before everyone is finished? Eat elsewhere to eat well and peacefully.
