Dishes beautifully presented, a feast for the eyes and the palate!
We will gladly return for another occasion
€50 per person, but includes aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine. The foie gras was succulent! The starter was a particular favorite.

We look at the menu with the owner and realize the work that goes into the magnificent dishes that are served to us. And when the tasting arrives, it's an explosion of flavors, colors, and textures—everything is there, and we love it!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful time, and we can't wait to come back!

10/12/2025: Our third visit to this beautiful authentic restaurant hosted by a wonderful family. Many thanks to the owner for making us feeling more than welcome. The food was amazing. Especially the tournedos was the best I have ever experienced. We will definitely come back for another anniversary. Calais is lucky to have a restaurant with top notch quality.
Ps: the Chateau du Pape 2016 was absolument fantastique!

19/01/2026: Excellent value for money and a lovely northern French atmosphere, complete with homemade fries, carbonnade, and potchewelch (hard to spell, hard to pronounce... but so delicious). A word of advice: book in advance as it's very popular, and the football stadium and Louvre-Lens museum are just a 5-minute walk away!

18/01/2026: We had lunch at this little bistro with my association between visits to the Louvre-Lens (which is really close by).
Personally, I really enjoyed the friendly and cheerful atmosphere of the restaurant, and of course, the perfectly cooked carbonnade and fries.
The service was excellent; the group was surprised to be greeted and served at the beginning by a young man who looked every bit the part of a future waiter!
Keep up the good work! There's a good chance we'll be back!
