24/09/2024: The dishes are tasteless, the mussels not cooked, the fries overcooked, the sole meunière burnt and the rice sticky and without any taste. They don't even know what it means to remove the fillets from a sole meunière. What a shame this restaurant is! They shame the profession. Nothing to do with the previous owner, Serge who knew how to cook so well.

24/08/2024: Very good experience. There is a choice of dishes. The dishes are very well prepared and tasty. The chicken meatballs are exceptional! Regarding the Sushi, nothing to say, simply good. The staff is welcoming, fast and efficient. Point of improvement: provide a stand or support separate from the table for the tablets, because they take up space and limit us in ordering dishes.

27/10/2024: EXCEPTIONAL! A real treat for the eyes and taste buds! I recommend this bakery 10,000%. The individual pastries are simply delicious! I have ordered several cakes here, and the staff are always attentive to my requests, very pleasant and attentive. The creations are not only magnificent but also incredibly tasty, and that's saying something! The flavors are unique, with combinations that are not found everywhere, such as gingerbread and clementine cake in winter. I recommend this bakery with my eyes closed. A huge thank you for yesterday’s Spanish cake, which caused a sensation as much for its appearance as for its taste!

23/09/2024: I went to eat this evening with my husband who forgot to take his drink. The cashier told me when there was some in the room so on the ice side I took a drink and the manager told me that I had a tea price (without paying! !) which I put in my bag!! I emptied my bag, no tea!! He got the profiles completely wrong!!! He therefore lost a customer who comes twice a week (so more than 100eurosxper 4)!!!

21/09/2024: Difficult to give one star! We had "lunch" in this "restaurant" yesterday afternoon and really do not recommend it. Very small mussels, very cooked but not very numerous. Beef “bavette d’loyau” overcooked and difficult to cut. Thick, lumpy maroilles sauce, little taste. Pretty decent fries. Bread: 3 slices of slightly dry industrial bread. Too bad there is a very good bakery nearby. Prices too high for the quality, €19 for mussels, €5.50 for beer... We didn't take the risk of ordering coffee and dessert (dessert from the bakery). Around us, a group of Normans will not have good memories of the local gastronomy. Whether Flammekueche or pizza, the base is puff pastry with large blackened edges! and the very light filling. At the checkout, the lady who asked my opinion seemed very surprised that I answered “very average”.... In short, La Paloma seems like a tourist trap to avoid. And I'm not mistaken about the address, it's 50 place du général de Gaulle.

03/08/2024: In the region for a lens match, and on the way back we stop at this pastry shop. We take three different cakes which all turn out to be excellent. I took a wonderful one which is the best I have eaten, a lemon tiramitsu which is too much too much, and a penguin with succulent almond paste... There you go a place that is worth the detour and which finally offers real and good products...Congratulations...we will come back, at the next match...
