25/05/2026: An incredible hotel in a perfectly maintained and decorated authentic medieval castle. The staff, the setting, the room amenities, the activities (pool, tennis, electric bikes...), the restaurant—absolutely everything is a delight. This was our second stay there, and it won't be our last.

21/06/2026: For a €44 menu, we expected a more refined experience. We weren't necessarily looking for large portions, but rather more flavor, freshness, and a level of quality more in line with the restaurant's positioning. It's a shame because the setting and the welcome were pleasant.

10/04/2026: A lovely discovery while strolling through Issoire! Drawn in by the chalkboard menu displayed in the street, we were tempted by the three dishes on offer, prepared and served by the chef right there in the dining room. :) We enjoyed an asparagus risotto with a soft-boiled egg and shiitake mushrooms (for me) and a coq au vin for my partner. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying... the chef was kind and smiling. Well done, don't change a thing! If we're ever back in Issoire, we'll definitely return.

08/01/2026: I'm a spa guest and have been going there for three years on a full-board basis. The owner, Romain, is incredibly helpful, as are the staff. Everyone is very friendly. As for the meals, I have no complaints; I don't eat better at home. Discretion, respect, nothing to criticize. Just one small drawback: the Wi-Fi quality in the rooms.

10/12/2025: Dinner with friends one evening. We didn't stay overnight. The place is very beautiful and authentic. Magnificent outdoor tables made of volcanic lava. The service is friendly yet efficient. As for me, the coq au vin was excellent. A place worth the detour.

25/05/2026: Living near Condat for a large part of the year, we often have the opportunity to have lunch at "Chez Marthe." The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with two fantastic waitresses, and the meals are fresh and homemade, prepared by Chef Nicolas. The set menu is straightforward at €16, including starters, a main course, a cheese platter, and homemade desserts (wine and coffee included). It's truly a charming country bistro.
