30/11/2025: We came during a quiet period for a romantic weekend getaway. La Bourboule is a very pretty town with its own unique charm! The hotel is excellent, the staff welcoming, the spa area pleasant (jacuzzi and hammam), and the dinner was delicious!

21/08/2024: Really bad, we clearly have the impression of bothering the people who work there. The food really disgusting and not fresh. The salad was soggy, the chicken wings were almost out of date and according to the waitress, the bacon was not “grilled” because they had been poached in oil. The truffade full of oil and with sponge straw in it. Really don't go there, it's disgusting and super expensive.

But according to the waitress that's how we do it in Auvergne, it's necessary miss! the very fine ham which is not Auvergne either, no quantity, in short, then my wife takes the dish of the day Filet mignon pork style with caramel served with tagliatelle.... Sauce too sweet, inedible, the plate left with the tagliatelle, we will not return to this restaurant.

24/02/2025: Arrived at 2 p.m., warmly welcomed, excellent dishes, very generous, excellent fries. Lots of choice, a children's menu. Excellent bread. Good value for money. And clean toilets 👍🏼, large parking lot not far away and beautiful view.

19/06/2025: After a bike ride with friends, we stopped at the Auberge du Palais. What a pleasure it was to have stopped there. We were very well received, the food was delicious and the presentation was top notch. I highly recommend this inn. A big thank you to the chef and the waitress.

The staff is not very accommodating, and the attitude of the manager is unacceptable: The welcome was frosty from the start, and she ignored all our requests, without even giving us a glance. She locked us outside during a cigarette break where we were in front of the restaurant door claiming to want to preserve its heating (in the middle of September). 17/09/2024: I've never had any problems in the store. On the other hand, I ordered through click and collect and I admit to being very disappointed. My order was ready from 1 p.m., I go there at 2 p.m. I follow the explanations received by SMS, and head towards the glass door as indicated. A young man scans my QR code and in 2 seconds tells me this cart he rolls it to me. “When you are finished, you can rest it there.” I ask him if I will be able to carry it, I am accompanied by my mother. “Yes no problem” The package measures approximately 1m20 and weighs approximately 25kg. No grip on the package so it's a bit of a hassle for our 2 small guys. Having shoulder problems, I go back for help I explain my problems and point out that we can't get him off the cart. And to my astonishment, he replies: I'm not here for the loading! I insist and he tells me, without even looking at me, that he can call his colleagues but that at this time there is no one there. SO?!.... It took us almost 20 minutes to struggle with this package while 3 employees took their break next to us, observing us. In short, no comments. Despite everything, with hindsight, I looked at their website and in fact it is clearly indicated "that agents are not authorized to load". You have to know, so I will only order when my husband or my son are available 😉
