14/08/2026: A friendly place. The staff and setting are truly top-notch, a 10/10 for the Guyonnade. A place where time seems to stand still, where you know how to slow down. It's so rare and pleasant.

19/08/2026: We stumbled upon this inn while looking for a restaurant during our visit to Issoire. Everything is homemade, and the portions are incredibly generous. We loved the truffade (a potato and cheese dish) and the stuffed cabbage. Even the ice cream is homemade. Don't miss the chance to stop here and sample the Auvergne specialties while in Issoire. Be warned, this place seems very popular, as the restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening, so be sure to arrive early or make a reservation.

17/08/2026: Very unpleasant staff. They called me a liar because there was a hair in my food, and they refused to change it. Avoid at all costs!

19/06/2026: Arriving unexpectedly, I managed to get a table despite numerous reservations. I was also offered a dish and dessert tailored to my needs. The food was high quality, the service pleasant and quick, and the price competitive. What more could you ask for?

20/08/2026: A very bad experience at this Buffalo Grill in Issoire. We waited an enormous amount of time, but given how busy it was, we could understand the wait. However, the service was truly appalling. The children's menus were incomplete: they were missing nuggets, for example. We asked for ketchup three times, which we never received… You can't expect the moon for a few packets of ketchup! The restrooms were in a deplorable, even disgusting, state. Unfortunately, there's no other word to describe them. Despite all the waiting and the numerous problems we encountered, there was no gesture of goodwill, no apology, nothing. Some members of staff, particularly the person at the bar and a young waitress, were also far from friendly or welcoming. In short, a truly bitter experience. Between the wait, incomplete orders, lack of responsiveness, the state of the toilets, and the reception, we will not be returning and we strongly advise against this establishment. Avoid at all costs!

20/08/2026: A nightmare!!! Between the wait, the meat being overcooked compared to how I ordered, the overcooked mozzarella sticks, the cold fries, and the water in the Roquefort sauce, it was a complete disaster! It was a festival of bad faith!!!! I had a reservation for noon, and at 1:45 pm, I still hadn't received dessert! Very disappointed!

18/08/2026: We came to eat at this very good restaurant, just the two of us. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable (around €20 per dish). Our only complaint is that we ordered a trout fillet with potato waffles, but we received potato rösti instead. Offering the option of small roasted potatoes, like with the other dishes, would have been a big plus. Excellent!

20/05/2026: We were originally supposed to eat in Montpeyroux, but not much was open, so on the way back we stopped here. When the daily menu was announced, I was a little skeptical: rice salad and pork chop with Vichy carrots. But we ordered three set menus for €17 each, and they were a real treat! I even got homemade fries with my carrots. The meat and sauce were succulent, as were the perfectly cooked carrots. The floating island for dessert was also divine. The atmosphere was friendly and unpretentious, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the bread served at the table was simply delicious.
