08/01/2026: A very disappointing experience at Auberge du Piory (Joserand). Upon our arrival, while it was snowing and freezing outside, the waitress made inappropriate remarks, offering a cold welcome and an irritated, disillusioned attitude. When I asked for the menu, I was told there was only one set menu, without the waitress being able to explain what it consisted of. The most shocking incident was a hygiene-related one: a customer entered with a dog that urinated right next to me. The waitress downplayed the situation, saying "it wasn't a big deal," and the urine was left on the floor, in the middle of a walkway. Several people stepped in it, and it was spread all the way to the kitchen. Between the lack of professionalism, the unpleasant welcome, and the clearly inadequate hygiene, this was a very bad experience. I will not be returning.

19/11/2025: I discovered this little inn, with its magnificent and very generous family menu. Two truly unique starters, followed by a main course, cheese, and dessert. I visit this unusual place once a month. I booked a weekend for a friend's surprise birthday party—the frog legs and fried food were fantastic! Thank you to the management.

14/01/2026: We used Les 3 Garçins for an end-of-year meal with colleagues in Issoire and were very disappointed with the service. We ordered a complete meal for 18 people, including a starter, main course, and dessert. For the starter, we chose a lentil salad with bacon, walnuts, and croutons. What we received was a dish with only lentils and tomatoes (which weren't in the recipe). All the other ingredients were missing. We had the same problem with the seafood salad, as it didn't include the peas or chorizo ​​that were listed in the recipe. We sent a photo of the dishes to the caterer to try and find a solution. The person on the phone told us there was nothing they could do since they were only responsible. After insisting in the hope that the mistake would be corrected, they agreed to a 5% discount on the bill, which doesn't solve the problem because we didn't receive what we had ordered. Regarding the dish, the salmon steaks were overcooked. When the final bill arrived, we were asked for the full amount even though we had already paid a deposit... This may seem trivial, of course, but it only adds to our dissatisfaction. One thing is certain: we will never use this caterer again; they lacked professionalism.

14/01/2025: I share an opinion concerning the restaurant only. I regularly passed by without ever taking advantage of it but following an invitation I was finally able to discover it. First of all, I appreciated the PMR access to the cozy room, which is calming and has enough space between the tables to be able to sit there with an armchair. A warm welcome from the entrance by a very friendly “Mister”, absolutely not stuffy and that immediately allows you to feel at ease to have a good time. The waitress was very professional, taking the time to answer our questions about the dishes and their origins, smiling and discreet. The dishes are very hearty, delicious and very local as we like them. Finally, the bill was not expensive and I think I would go back as soon as I could. I recommend this establishment if you want to have a good time sharing a very good meal.

21/03/2026: We made a reservation the day before, and on the day itself, we received a simple text message at 11:00 AM announcing the cancellation of our 12:00 PM reservation. We were already on our way. I found that appalling. I had already been disappointed a few months ago by the staff during a meal; they were arrogant.

26/02/2026: We came as a group of three at lunchtime. There were only two other people. The cutlery was dirty. The lunch menu was €18, including a starter, main course, and dessert. I ordered a mixed salad with a coffee, and they charged me €18 for it, only to tell me at the end that it was the same price as the daily special, which, of course, didn't include a dessert. We even had to go ask for our coffees; otherwise, I think we'd still be there, even though the restaurant was empty. Avoid this place at all costs!

28/02/2026: The food was inconsistent in my opinion; the cream of mushroom soup was excellent, the broccoli nothing special, the meat very good, however the scallops weren't seared properly, they deserved a second searing...as for the cheese, there were many varieties that lacked character

28/02/2026: Beautiful cuisine. The presentation and flavors were both excellent. The photos speak for themselves. I love porcini mushrooms and the aromas they release, and here the concentration was truly remarkable.
