25/11/2024: We spent an evening dining at the Le Majestic restaurant as part of a friend's birthday. We were a table of 17 and had placed an order in advance specifying the choice of starters, main courses and desserts. When the time came for the meal, the waiter asked us several times to position ourselves on the choice and distribution of the different dishes... The food was very good and we ate well as the attached photos can attest. Unfortunately, throughout the meal we were bothered by a completely drunk customer who was served drink after drink by the restaurant. However, we alerted the various servers on several occasions without them really taking any action other than asking the famous customer to be quiet. A practice to be reviewed to ensure customer satisfaction, in my humble opinion.

06/09/2024: Sur les quais de Saône, bel endroit, très sympathique, avec du personnel sympathique, souriant, et avec de l'humour. Côté assiette, copieux et bien cuisiné. Carte des vins à la hauteur des plats proposés.

06/09/2024: Meal without surprises, decent without more. Beautiful presentations of the plates on the other hand. The food service is fast. We would have liked a more relaxed staff, less pressure.

20/11/2025: The welcome was very cold, and above all, the food bore no resemblance to what the previous owners had been doing. Essentially reheated leftovers, with no flavor. The steak was tough and the calf's head made my partner ill. This place is definitely one to avoid, especially considering the high price.

31/08/2025: Aperitif... A tempting buffet of starters (terrine, rillettes, parsley ham, and salads), but you have to save room for the beef! It was delicious and melt-in-the-mouth. And to finish, a dessert buffet with pear panna cotta, chocolate moelleux, île flottante, cannelés... in portions that allow you to taste almost everything! Coffee and a cup of coffee! THANK YOU 😁

01/09/2024: So, to say that it's a restaurant, it has to have the name, but no cuisine. Bitter frying, all the fish are stuck and in crumbs, and it is called frying, I would say thawed and refrozen poison given the bitterness. It's a shame to see this type of establishment, with the name restaurant. Another one who won't finish the year.

01/11/2024: I do not advise, reception more than limited, greasy stain that I point out to the gentleman "probably boss" on an unset table, but he does not seem very happy telling me that it is only water. Boss who doesn't do much to help his team "rather good bar pillar" apart from when his team is having lunch. All he's missing is a whip. Very bad address, what a shame, good luck to the waitresses.

09/10/2024: Place we loved to go a few years ago. Change of ownership we were very disappointed. Unwelcoming cold place, drink ordered expired since August 2024, a chopped steak in an almost raw burger, fries more than cooked and not even a small commercial gesture to apologize, really disappointed both by the service and by the quality of the dishes. The only positive point is that the plates are very small so the children can finish the meal without any problem 😁

24/11/2025: We enjoyed a 2-night stay thanks to a Wonderbox gift voucher. A warm and welcoming reception. We loved it! Dinner was excellent and delicious, as was the generous all-you-can-eat breakfast. A quiet and relaxing place.

21/09/2024: Beautiful setting but big disappointment in terms of the hotel. Restaurant lacks professionalism, Firstly they place you on the terrace and 3/4 hours later still no one to offer you an aperitif So we decide to enter the restaurant. no appetizers with the aperitif. Not even a good appetite, sir, lady! Concerning the water for the meal, they don't even offer you bottled water directly from a carafe. Menu more than correct I even congratulate the chef.🧑‍🍳 coffee was not offered at the end of the meal. Too bad! Hotel oh my god! 2nd floors and they told you no elevator it's broken something I can understand! When taking the shower, there is no hot water in the evening and there is no hot water in the morning! And the answer is normal, there is no more gas!! No, but that’s the joke, right?? Comfort room plus at 130 euros per night anyway! Concerning breakfast, not knowing where to place you due to lack of organization! So we decide not to stay for breakfast. And luckily when I saw the face of the pain au chocolat! Honestly worth seeing again! Because I think that in this small village there is indeed an artisan baker? So why use frozen? The poor little receptionist who tries to meet all the needs of unhappy customers. Where is the boss?? Anyway, I don’t recommend this establishment at all 😡

20/08/2024: We ate at the restaurant (we were not at the hotel) and had main course and dessert. It was very good.

01/10/2024: We were in the small room and even though there weren't many of us, it was extremely noisy and unpleasant. An endless wait, more than 2.5 hours to eat for 3 people with a child As for the "kids' menu", a poor piece of dry chicken with no sauce, nothing, and 3 fries... Absolutely avoid

29/09/2024: Very good meal, very good, the venison steak served with vegetables, well-controlled cooking, much better than the usual salad fries 🥗 served elsewhere 👏👏 very good waiter is very dynamic.

02/11/2024: Atypical restaurant. Perfect place to shoot a remake of Psycho or Shining. Decoration more than vintage. Restaurant in its own right. We expect at any moment to see Gabin or Ventura come and sit down at the table to eat an erzats of beef bourguignon or a cold steak. If you want to take a trip back in time, this place is perfect...

30/06/2025: I arrived. Five people were there, one behind the cash register eating, and the woman serving was chatting with colleagues behind the counter instead of serving customers. A disgrace. Change jobs or change managers who don't train employees.

14/06/2025: We bought a strawberry tart and when it came to dessert it was really not good, completely burnt... a disgrace...

29/08/2024: The night we spent there was memorable because the fire alarm went off at 2am and woke up the ENTIRE hotel! We weren't afraid because the fire station is located right in front of the hotel! On the other hand, we laughed less when it was triggered a second time at 6 a.m. for a reset... But the staff is very professional and there is good service, the parking lot is guarded all night and the night porter is very friendly. We were able to put in the fridge what we had in our cooler, just ask! Following the alarm, our breakfasts were offered to us!!! Nice, right?
