19/04/2026: We had dinner as a couple; the staff was very friendly, and the pizzas were truly artisanal, made with fresh ingredients. We ordered two vegetarian pizzas, which were really delicious. We'll definitely be back.

21/04/2026: Pros: - Remote check-in available if arriving outside of opening hours. - Swimming pool (when the season allows) - Quiet hotel (but very busy street) Cons: - Room not cleaned daily if you stay several nights. - Very small room. Especially the bathroom/toilet access, which is very cramped! I don't know how larger people manage to get to the toilet. - Pillows could use replacing. - Very busy street, therefore noisy (but the hotel is quiet). - Very limited (or even only one) choice for dinner. - Mostly frozen food. - Limited breakfast selection. - Very rustic decor, the hotel is showing its age. (But some may like it)

06/01/2026: We had lunch as a group of three and ordered duck breasts. The meat and sides were very good, with the duck breasts cooked perfectly and served with a delicious cranberry sauce. We finished with a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) which included an apricot tart—not really in season, and the pastry was a bit too white, but still acceptable—a crème brûlée—with a wonderful texture—and a brownie with crème anglaise—the brownie was a little dry. The service was pleasant. The major drawback: we had to eat with our coats on because it was so cold! We'll gladly return... but in the warmer months!

22/03/2026: We had frogs' legs there today, very well cooked as usual. The desserts are very good, homemade. It's a shame the dining room is so noisy. Otherwise, always very good.

01/12/2025: Five of us, we ordered the most expensive menu, 40 euros. Having extra charges for the frogs' legs is already outrageous, okay, fine, we were expecting something amazing. What a disappointment! The frogs' legs were covered in parsley, the butter was burnt, and many were missing legs? Apparently, it was the same at the table behind us, but they didn't dare say anything. The frogs' legs in cream sauce had a strange taste. In short, three plates were impossible to eat. On the other hand, the chicken in cream sauce with morels, which was an extra charge, was excellent. Just an off day? Or not? The three frogs' legs were indeed removed from the bill, but the rest were charged à la carte. So, the bill still came to 197 euros. I'm not one to post fake reviews, sorry.

04/05/2026: Very nice hotel and restaurant. Quiet hotel, pleasant setting, comfortable room, bathroom could use some updating. Located along a canal. Bike paths nearby. Mountain-style restaurant, very airy. Simple but good meals, light and somewhat pricey breakfasts. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Well-stocked bar. Private and secure parking. Easy access.

23/02/2026: A very warm welcome. A beautiful establishment with incredible charm. Comfortable beds and a very satisfying breakfast. It's a shame we didn't have the opportunity to eat there.

18/04/2026: We ate lunch there on Saturday; everyone ordered fries, but they were inedible, clearly reheated, soggy, and limp. The manager didn't even try to help. Disappointing.

18/04/2026: The fries were terrible; we all ordered some, but no one ate any. They were soggy and inedible, like they'd been reheated. The crème brûlée was runny and tasteless. A mediocre meal! We mentioned it to the waitress and then to the older, blonde, short woman with glasses who was indifferent, unpleasant, and almost mocking. She told us, "I'm not the owner, you should have said so before!" which we had! We won't be back! Avoid this place!

18/04/2026: I really enjoyed my visit. Beautifully cooked steak (entrecot Charollais) with really hot delicious fries and salad. I had a green salad for starters and a lovely warm tarte au pommes with food ice cream for pudding. With a glass of kir, a glass of Macon rouge and a coffee to finish I thought good value for €44. There was a nice atmosphere and good prompt service. I'd certainly go again.

26/04/2026: We had the regional menu. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The homemade fries were perfectly cooked and puffed up—absolutely amazing. The fried food was cooked to perfection (neither tough nor dry). From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was superb. We'll definitely be back!
