09/05/2026: What a great find this brasserie was! We enjoyed a delicious set menu—starter, main course, and dessert—at a very reasonable price. Everything was excellent, and the service was quick and friendly.

08/05/2026: Now, this is « just a café » next to City Hall and the main church. We did not have a reservation and were truly welcome although the place was very busy. The staff (Patrick and Karine) were so welcoming.. we felt like family and the chef amazingly found ways to feed hungry coeliacs!!!

14/06/2026: Nice and friendly service and great food at a reasonable price. We sat on the terrace, though there was some noise from tough guys on motorcycles. We had a delicious meal!

10/06/2026: We will long cherish the memory of our first visit to this restaurant. The decor is fabulous, evoking the era of the great Lamartine, but also bringing us back to our own time. The welcome was excellent, the cuisine delicious and refined, a pleasure not only to eat but also to see when the plates arrived – very impressive. We truly had an excellent meal, and the €25.80 set menu is truly excellent value for money.

18/05/2026: We came as a couple for dinner on Friday evening for the themed night. We had sauerkraut. Delicious and, above all, very generous portions. The dessert was excellent. The waiter was very kind and pleasant. We can't wait to come back!

14/06/2026: We ate there this Sunday at lunchtime, and we absolutely loved the place, the setting, and the food. Everything was fresh and homemade, carefully prepared yet simple. Our children ordered a dish from the menu and they adored it too! We highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

26/05/2026: A very welcoming restaurant with refined cuisine. I had a poker bowl made with fresh ingredients. I came three years ago, and the quality is still excellent. The setting is magnificent, which makes the experience even better. This place remains a sure bet.

22/05/2026: Avoid this restaurant. It looked promising, with lots of cars in the parking lot, but the environment was filthy, which should have been a red flag. The welcome was friendly, but the food was deplorable, tasteless, and in short, a complete failure on almost every level.

25/04/2026: A true little paradise close to home. A magnificent and very cozy interior. The exterior offers breathtaking views from its beautiful terrace and cozy lounges perfect for enjoying delicious cocktails. The menus are generous and excellent, and there's even a barbecue menu available. The staff is very warm and friendly, not to mention the owner who comes to greet you and explain how he fell in love with this place. In fact, thank you to those outside the area who believe that anything is still possible here. I wish this establishment a wonderful season and hope to see you again very soon...

28/03/2026: This isn't the Riberboat I remember, where you could get good grilled beef. I was very disappointed with the vacuum-packed, industrially produced deli meats. We won't be back. I don't recommend this restaurant.

03/06/2026: Ate in the hotel restaurant, the butchers choice sirloin steak was just awfull, tough and chewy, probably the worst i can remember having. Its a shame because this is a nice hotel.

30/05/2026: We stayed here several times, always happy. However this time was disappointing. I wasn’t aware of rooms in another building being part of the hotel. Unfortunately those rooms are far inferior to the main stylish part of the hotel. The rooms are not renovated, not as cozy and reachable via labyrinth of stairs and corridors. I will be more specific when making reservation next time. If you want to experience Le Rempart from its best side make sure you specify you want to stay in the main building - then you get a truly quality stay.

04/04/2026: Very good restaurant. Very friendly staff. The pizzas are delicious; I had the vegetarian one. The ribeye steak was very good, and there's plenty to eat. The desserts are homemade. I love the rum baba; it's big and delicious. The gourmet coffee is generously filled. The ice cream is very flavorful. We live far away, but we go there whenever we can. Best wishes. Mado's nephews and nieces.

21/05/2026: It felt like being welcomed into a friend's home because the young hostess was so friendly, helpful, and competent. As for the cook, he was a true professional: dinner was plentiful and delicious from start to finish. We slept in a comfortable bed and didn't hear a thing. It was a wonderful stay.

19/06/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food, but the menu looked incredibly tempting! Let me tell you about our experience... We were a group of eight bikers, arriving around 4 pm in the middle of a heatwave. The restaurant owners were just about to leave, having finished their lunch service. And yet, the doors were opened wide with a kindness that's almost impossible to find these days, even though we would have perfectly understood that we were arriving far too late... We were greeted with a big smile, and for just a soft drink each, the bill came to less than €20... Three carafes of chilled water were served in addition to our order, they brought us a refreshing water canister, and they refilled our water bottles! Hats off to you both for this wonderful display of humanity! One thing is for sure: we'll be back! ❤️

09/05/2026: I ate at this restaurant on Saturday, May 9th, and was very satisfied. I highly recommend it. The owner and waitress were very pleasant; everything is homemade, which is so rare these days, even the profiteroles! Thank you again to the owner and the waitress. I will go back.

22/06/2026: Excellent food that somewhat makes up for the disastrous service. An hour and fifteen minutes just for the starter! If you're in a hurry, unfortunately, this isn't the place for you. Having tried it this winter, I found the calf's head less generous this time than the first time, which is a real shame. The terrace is pleasant thanks to its location, although it could use a good cleaning.

28/06/2026: Unpleasant staff. We were very rudely ejected. Impossible to get a drink despite the heatwave and 39 degrees.
