25/05/2026: Pentecost Fair, set menu: starter, main course, simple dessert, nothing extraordinary. The owner wasn't very smiley at first but became more pleasant towards the end. We suppose having a lot of customers makes it difficult to manage. The other servers were very friendly. A bit pricey for our taste, considering the basic quality of the menu.

25/05/2026: Avoid this place at all costs!! We wanted to get smoothies as a family, and out of a wide selection (8, I think), we could only choose two. I chose a coconut one (banana, peach, coconut). And what a disaster! It was full of lumps, as if the coconut milk had gone bad. One sip and I thought I was going to throw up, but an arrogant young woman insisted it was perfectly normal!! I won't bore you with the details of her argument. I asked for a refund, and they just threw the €5 note at me. Furthermore, all the staff are unpleasant, never smile, and the owner spent her time judging us with her eyes and smoking freely in the establishment, but judging by her words, "I'm the boss, I do what I want," those were her words. And don't even get me started on the tables not being cleaned after being cleared, and the fact that we asked for a simple glass of water for our 2-year-old seemed to bother them. So really nothing works, don't stop there, other places will be much more welcoming.

15/06/2026: We had lunch today and were served a delicious meal with beautiful presentation, which we thoroughly enjoyed. For 26 euros (starter, main course, dessert), we had absolutely no complaints. We will gladly return to your establishment. The staff was very friendly; it was perfect.

12/12/2025: Honestly, this is the second time I've bought chocolate croissants in bulk there, but avoid it at all costs!!! They're completely flat and nothing like the ones displayed in the window. I don't recommend it at all, and what's more, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired; it's quite disgusting for a bakery…

14/05/2026: A warm welcome awaits you in this little green haven, whose specialty is frog. The food was good (hot dishes), but I wasn't very impressed with the service: - The starters were presented rather crudely - The wait was a bit long, especially on a Sunday lunchtime. However, we should mention that the staff were very accommodating for last-minute reservations. PS: I wouldn't recommend the tiramisu, though, as it had the texture of crème anglaise rather than a firm mascarpone.

22/03/2026: We had frogs' legs there today, very well cooked as usual. The desserts are very good, homemade. It's a shame the dining room is so noisy. Otherwise, always very good.

08/06/2026: A real stroke of luck for our cycling group!** We stayed at the Hostellerie Bourguignonne with our cycling group and were absolutely thrilled. After a long day on our bikes, we received an incredibly warm welcome. The rooms are stylish, very clean, and offer exactly the comfort and peace and quiet you need after an active day. The culinary highlight in the evening was also fantastic; the kitchen spoiled us with first-class dishes, and the next morning a generous breakfast with a great selection awaited us, so we were perfectly fueled for the next leg of our journey. For cyclists and anyone who appreciates warm hospitality and excellent food, this place comes highly recommended – we felt completely at ease, would love to come back, and would like to thank the entire team!

01/05/2026: The place is basic, to say the least. The service is quick. And the food is good and inexpensive! It's really great for workers. In less than 20 minutes, we ate a starter, main course, dessert, and coffee. All that for €45 for two set menus and three beers. Honestly, fantastic. I haven't had such good lentils in a long time.

23/12/2025: We came this Friday, December 20th. Big disappointment. The egg salad was identical to the mountain salad. Four croutons were replaced by half a barely toasted loaf of white bread with melted cheese on top. Followed by pike quenelles with Nantua sauce. Except the quenelles were completely dried out (certainly due to being reheated many times) and served with a very thick, pasty Nantua sauce. With a half-bottle of red wine to accompany it, for €7. Well, the quality is no longer there. Too bad, we won't be going back.

07/06/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to this charming inn during a lunch break on a motorcycle ride through the Brionnais region. Delicious food prepared with care. A lovely shaded terrace. A truly exceptional gourmet coffee (so rare these days!). A very friendly owner who is also a chef and pastry chef. It's worth noting that the owner's wife, in addition to providing impeccable service, is an artist. Thank you for this wonderful experience, see you soon!

04/06/2026: If it hadn't smelled so much mold from the bathroom, this would have been an ok overnight stay, albeit too expensive for what you pay for. The food in the restaurant is good. The breakfast was unfortunately very sparse and the staff had no interest in refilling it. 1 out of 5 stars unfortunately
