07/07/2025: We couldn't open our room window because the handle was broken, the fan was broken, and we were charged more for breakfast than the price shown on the website. The price is not justified.

28/06/2025: Very high-quality establishment. We stopped here on our way south. Friendly welcome, very pleasant staff, good food, and exceptional breakfast - no air conditioning, but a classy building.

19/02/2026: Today's menu: "Mussels and fries." The mussels were bland and tasteless, half the shells were empty, there was no white wine, no parsley... it felt like eating rubber. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he said it was delivered like that, so it wasn't even prepared on-site. 🤔 Really disappointed.

21/12/2025: We were refused entry this Saturday evening, December 20th, at 8:30 pm. The reason given was: "We've stopped cooking." I find it really surprising for a pizzeria to stop serving at that hour, especially on a Saturday night! Too bad for them if they don't want to work; we found what we were looking for at Pizzeria O Fil de l'Eau, where we received a very warm welcome and had a delicious meal.

31/01/2026: A wonderful culinary experience during my lunch break last Wednesday. The setting is lovely, and the food is exquisite. The welcome and service were excellent, perfectly matching the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it. (Sorry about the photo of the appetizer; I started eating it because I was so hungry 😋😉)

23/12/2025: We came this Friday, December 20th. Big disappointment. The egg salad was identical to the mountain salad. Four croutons were replaced by half a barely toasted loaf of white bread with melted cheese on top. Followed by pike quenelles with Nantua sauce. Except the quenelles were completely dried out (certainly due to being reheated many times) and served with a very thick, pasty Nantua sauce. With a half-bottle of red wine to accompany it, for €7. Well, the quality is no longer there. Too bad, we won't be going back.

23/09/2025: Very good restaurant, good atmosphere but the service is a bit slow, the quality of the food is excellent!

09/03/2026: No complaints about the service, as the staff were very young and unable to be rated due to their lack of experience. They did their best to cope with the lack of everything, especially a professional to supervise a restaurant. I remain perplexed... no, not for the value for money, no, not for the quality of the food after 3 days in the region. Would I recommend it? No.

20/06/2025: We often go here, the food is good, but twice, when in a group, we are told someone has not paid and we have to make up the difference. It doesn't happen at the other 5 restaurants that we use.

13/01/2026: After 1 p.m., they don't serve lunch here anymore; you have to make a reservation! This was confirmed to me by other customers at the table… Avoid at all costs!

06/01/2026: We had lunch as a group of three and ordered duck breasts. The meat and sides were very good, with the duck breasts cooked perfectly and served with a delicious cranberry sauce. We finished with a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) which included an apricot tart—not really in season, and the pastry was a bit too white, but still acceptable—a crème brûlée—with a wonderful texture—and a brownie with crème anglaise—the brownie was a little dry. The service was pleasant. The major drawback: we had to eat with our coats on because it was so cold! We'll gladly return... but in the warmer months!

21/11/2025: We've had lunch at this restaurant several times and are always warmly welcomed. Last night was Beaujolais Nouveau and Pot-au-feu night. It was perfect: hearty, hot, and quick. The dessert was average, but for the price of the meal, it was excellent. Thank you to the staff and the kitchen.

19/09/2025: Very good, but the position of the bathroom with the toilet facing the front door is very odd. Good bedding.

28/08/2025: To avoid.....When we arrived the person at reception looked for our room. We went to our room what a disaster...Bad smells, black bathroom ceiling, dust...In addition our room neighbor was screaming...When we reported it to the reception, this lady rolled her eyes and said that it did not surprise her coming from us. We ran away and slept in the car. In short, dirty, horrible welcome.....

01/03/2026: Small museum about Charolais cattle, a nice view, but meh, it's not worth 6.40 euros

22/02/2026: Nice restaurant and good food. It's a shame it took 2 hours to eat one main course and one dessert; the wait was far too long, especially when you're on the road for your holiday.

24/02/2026: The restaurant has been replaced by an unidentified Asian place (Le Mekong), which I would avoid at all costs. I ordered gyoza as a starter; apart from the shape, they were nothing like the originals—saturated with oil and made with the wrong ingredients. Then I had a green chicken curry, which I've never seen before: hot water with lemongrass stalks and a chicken breast swimming in it. They should be told to remove the lemongrass stalks before serving, just like the other aromatic leaves; it's inedible. In short, avoid it. The value for money is disastrous.

09/02/2026: Sadly, this excellent restaurant had to close! Unfortunately, it's been replaced by a Cambodian restaurant... halal!!! As if Asian cuisine could do without pork and other such things!!!

30/01/2026: A lovely establishment, with a warm welcome and efficient service. The food, however, is more uneven. The beef bourguignon is sorely lacking in simmering time, the meat remaining firm. Conversely, the dish of the day—osso buco—is well executed, as is the flavorful pike quenelle. A decent restaurant, but the quality varies depending on the dish.

11/12/2024: People always take a bit of pride in this cooperative cellar when we always buy 2/3 boxes. It never really makes you want to come back, but Pouilly Vinzelle is so good that you always come back...
