06/11/2024: The setting is beautiful..the waitress is very unpleasant.. we waited for The cards received a tempered glass AND our dishes served last on this service when we reported the wait the response "chicken is Long" for me It's just a skewer so it cooks for 10 minutes maximum...the meat is tasteless, the curry powder sauce is finally a big disappointment for us.

06/11/2024: We had the Flemish carbonade which we enjoyed. The service is perfect and we were happy that there was just a table for 2 left for us. We recommend. Thanks for this break!

05/01/2026: Disappointed by the new "brunch" format, which limits the buffet to a single meat option (chicken), the same every Sunday. A shame, we've seen more variety in meat and vegetables. The flooring is aging, the tiles are badly damaged, and it desperately needs replacing. Not to mention the chairs and tables, which are very worn. The view of the lake is lovely, but the sill along the bay windows is dirty and needs cleaning. Sitting at table 21 with a large fan at the foot of my chair?! The buffet itself, however, was well-prepared. Given the price, we expected better service.

01/01/2026: A very disappointing experience. The welcome and organization were nonexistent, and we felt rushed from beginning to end. We arrived at 9:15 pm (as requested by the restaurant when we made the reservation), and were quickly informed that they would be closing at 10 pm, even though this hadn't been mentioned during the booking process. As a result, the buffet was almost empty, the selection very limited, and our meal was rushed through in less than 30 minutes. For €35, the experience was far from satisfactory. Luckily, it was a gift certificate. I do not recommend it.

08/12/2025: We had dinner there as a group of three on Sunday evening. We were pleasantly surprised by this pizzeria; the pizza was good, the ingredients were high quality, the waiter was very pleasant, the price was reasonable, the tiramisu was excellent, and the Bardolino red wine was also very good – a great place to eat!

07/12/2025: We booked because the Capri was part of the Gourmet Passport. Right from the booking stage, they told us they no longer accept the passport on Saturdays...! They finally accepted it. Once there, they specified that we needed a minimum spend of €30 per person, excluding drinks, to get the discount. But nothing adds up to €30 if you order a main course and dessert... there's no set menu... and on top of that, the service was incredibly cold! They use the passport to attract customers, but it's ultimately useless! And then there's the detail of the waiter in the restroom who didn't wash his hands after leaving... even though I was standing right in front of the sink... oh my god! 😱😱

03/12/2024: Pizzas malheureusement faiblements achalandés. Nous avions stoppé les achats avec parenthèse, mais imprévu ! Donc pizza YOLO à proximité, alors on retente. Rien à changé, avec option pâte chewing-gum. Top !!! Et pas rechaufées au micro ondes ( pour compléter). Dommage pour des Pizzas à 12€ piece....

11/11/2025: Delicious food, friendly and efficient service. The set menu (starter and main course) included homemade salmon rillettes (very flavorful), slow-cooked beef bourguignon, and steamed potatoes. For €16.50... A solid French meal. Worth remembering, as it's superior to the various exotic restaurants in the neighborhood. Yes, but my second visit was disappointing: a pork chop with mustard sauce, overcooked, tough, and the "sauce" was reduced to a small bowl of whole-grain mustard. Nothing like a sauce at all. Very disappointed. (Updated my first review!)

28/12/2025: A disastrous experience on December 26th: An untidy dining room, a waiter with a crooked tie and an almost familiar manner should have been a red flag. A €49 menu featuring limp, lifeless prawns, flavorless frozen shellfish, and, to top it all off, a Normandy tart with sliced ​​cream and an utterly inedible undercooked crust, earns it the prize for worst restaurant experience ever. The €10 discount on the bill is hardly enough to make up for this carnage.

02/01/2026: Nice place on Place du Vieux Marché... the upstairs dining room was packed on New Year's Day... very close quarters with the neighboring tables... good oysters, but the sirloin steak was a bit sinewy, what a shame! A waiter kept mixing up the tables throughout the entire service... maybe a temporary worker who didn't know the table numbers... no big deal for me, but my neighbors were disappointed 😞 (Their daughter got her burger after her parents had finished their meals!)

30/11/2025: Really fantastic. Rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and the bed is seriously comfortable. Tick. We paid for breakfast after waking up at 6am with jet lag and it was amazing! Simple, but fresh and lots of local produce - one of the best buffets in years…sorry for eating the whole of that small dark rye and grain loaf! If you’re arriving by train, this is very convenient (100m walk) and the funky docks area is a 5 min walk. Two supermarkets within 300m and the tram to the beach is similar. If you come to Le Havre for the first time, and the weather is ok, throw on your walking shoes and just explore through the old streets for a few hours… keep heading up the hill and you’ll be rewarded with views of a friendly, honest and very historic city. The staff at the Novotel are amazing too - a real credit to the hotel. We will be back! Photo is of a late Sunday night croque monseur (ham and cheese toastie). So good!

07/12/2024: Really a quality Flunch, I go there regularly with my children and grandchildren, everything is planned to accommodate young children, high chairs and play area, perfect for parents and children! And the dishes are good, go there without hesitation. I also go to Flunch de Blagnac near Toulouse, very good too.

02/06/2025: Warm welcome at the restaurant. I had booked in advance for a family meal for 18 people. The meal was delicious. I had requested two gluten-free meals, and the protocol was perfectly followed, so no problem. All my guests were delighted. Very satisfied with the service. I didn't try the hotel; we were staying elsewhere.
