05/12/2025: WARNING: DOGS NOT ALLOWED IN RESTAURANT As a long-time customer of Les Aromates and a staunch supporter of small, local food businesses, I welcome tourists from all over the world. Until now, I also recommended this restaurant. We had booked a table for lunch on December 5, 2025, but upon arrival, we were informed that my dog ​​(3 kg) was not allowed inside the restaurant, only on the terrace. I respect this decision, provided the customer is informed when making the reservation or clearly stated on the website, which was not the case. Furthermore, this is one of the few restaurants in the area that refuses dogs. My customers are generally affluent individuals, often accompanied by their four-legged companions. I will therefore direct my customers to other restaurants that I regularly try and that readily accept dogs. In short, a real shame.

13/08/2024: We recently stayed in Lauris and had lunch several times in Margot. The food is excellent. Always freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff were very friendly particularly the girl whose english was excellent and always explained the menu board to us. The terrace has a great ambience with locals and visitors alike enjoying the atmosphere. If you're passing through lauris I highly recommend visiting table de margot. We will be returning next year.

23/10/2024: "Au Fil du Temps" : Quand le génie culinaire rencontre... l'absurde Si tu as déjà rêvé de vivre une expérience gastronomique digne d’un grand écart émotionnel, alors "Au Fil du Temps" est fait pour toi. Situé dans le charmant village de Pernes-les-Fontaines, ce restaurant te promet des montagnes russes où l'excellence des plats rivalise avec un service tout droit sorti d'une dimension parallèle. Tout commence avec la réservation. Facile, non ? Eh bien, pas ici. Après avoir d'abord oublié notre réservation, l’établissement nous en a finalement trouvé une… pour deux personnes. Sympathique, sauf que nous étions six. Mais pas de panique ! Grâce à une habile négociation, nous avons tout de même réussi à avoir une table. C'est à ce moment-là que l’aventure a vraiment commencé. La salle était dirigée par une seule personne. Un modèle d'efficacité ? Pas vraiment. Nous avons rapidement compris qu’il s’agissait de la femme du chef, qui, visiblement, a autant de souci avec les réservations qu’avec l’audition. Ce qui a créé des moments d’anthologie. Quand nous avons demandé quel vin elle recommandait, sa réponse fut un subtil mélange d'expertise et de philosophie : "Je sais pas, celui que vous voulez." Voilà, le sommelier du futur. Le clou du spectacle ? Quand nous avons demandé si le pigeon était copieux, sa réponse, d’une précision chirurgicale, fut : "Ben, je sais pas, ça a la taille d’un pigeon." Un cours de biologie rapide en pleine dégustation. Pour couronner le tout, l’un de nos plats fut tout simplement oublié. Peut-être une vengeance discrète après quelques ricanements à table ? Mystère. Mais attendez, parlons des mets. Parce que, oui, les plats étaient divins. Le pigeon, malgré sa taille bien proportionnée, était un véritable délice. Le mélange terre-mer de filet de bœuf et sardines, audacieux et parfaitement exécuté, a enchanté nos papilles. L'assortiment de fromages, sublime. Et que dire du dessert au chocolat ? Un chef-d'œuvre à lui tout seul. Bref, du pur génie gastronomique. Le chef, que nous soupçonnons désormais de simuler une légère surdité à la maison (qui pourrait lui en vouloir ?), mérite toutes les félicitations. Son talent est indéniable. On lui souhaite bien du courage car, si ses plats sont à la hauteur, on ne peut qu’imaginer la gestion du service à domicile. Peut-être se réfugie-t-il en cuisine pour échapper à la gestion du quotidien ? En conclusion, "Au Fil du Temps" est une adresse incontournable. Pour la cuisine, évidemment. Et pour l’expérience ? On pourrait dire… lunaire. Mais après tout, qui ne rêve pas d’un bon repas avec une touche d'absurde ?

02/11/2024: Cuisine simple mais bonne. Mais attention au dessert : on vous propose de prendre un gâteau à la boulangerie qui vous est facturé le double de son prix en rayon. L'information est affichée à l'entrée de la boulangerie mais faut-il encore la voir ! Grosse arnaque !
