15/04/2026: Love coming here, atmosphere and service is always consistently good. The food is very tasty. This is the first time where I was ever so slightly disappointed. Let me clarify, the pizza was very good but I ordered the Reine de Truffe, most expensive pizza on the menu because I absolutely love truffle. But there was no fragrance of truffle at all and very little truffle flavour. The rest was excellent so now you can understand my slight disappointment. 😁

There's nothing else like this unique establishment in the Pink City. The service is always unforgettable, relaxed, and friendly. With Amande and Caro, the kitchen staff, you can feel their joy in being there for the customers and their zest for life. And of course, the food is absolutely delicious: classic dishes like confit pork cheeks, the famous and inimitable baked egg with morels and foie gras—so good you'll lick the plate clean...—and the renowned double cream banoffee pie, which is simply perfect. The covered terrace, with its cozy lounge feel, and the tables in the three dining rooms aren't just places to eat and drink; Le Gai Pêcheur is a haven to recharge and protect your sanity from the harshness of the world. I am particularly surprised by the tone adopted in response to customer feedback. It would have been far more professional to acknowledge that an experience can be perceived differently, even without sharing that opinion, rather than immediately responding defensively. If, as you claim, there is no service fee at your establishment, a response aimed at understanding or an internal review would undoubtedly have been more appropriate than implying an inaccuracy on my part, especially several months later. My opinion simply remains an honest reflection of my experience: a dish I found bland, a particularly noisy atmosphere, and a final bill that contributed to my dissatisfaction. The way an establishment responds to criticism often says as much as the experience itself.

08/05/2026: I'm discovering South Indian cuisine (although they also serve the more well-known North Indian dishes) and it's delicious. The service and the food are perfect.

28/04/2026: My first time at this restaurant for lunch today. The Bo Bun salad was generous and delicious. The service was quick and efficient, with a great atmosphere! Parking was easy. I wouldn't have thought to stop there, but this place is definitely worth the detour. The menu is very extensive, with something for everyone. It gets very busy, so it's best to book ahead. 🤗

13/05/2026: A very friendly pub atmosphere, the charcuterie boards are excellent, quality products freshly prepared in the kitchen and service with all the friendliness of Lolo le Rapide, a really friendly welcome and very good beers, worth trying!

21/04/2026: Excellent welcome and perfectly timed service – neither too fast nor too slow. Delicious foie gras, excellent beef fillet, and a very good cassoulet with plenty of meat. A minor drawback was the desserts, particularly the rum babas: the brioche was a bit dry and not quite rum-rich, and the whipped cream wasn't great. But don't hesitate, the main courses are perfect and generous.

25/03/2026: Lunch today. The menu was very simple but perfectly executed. Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection; one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Excellent wine recommendations as well. A very pleasant welcome. Fantastic value for money and quantity, especially for Toulouse. Highly recommended!
