16/01/2026: Le Gai Pêcheur is simply my favorite bar-restaurant in Toulouse. The "neighborhood bar" atmosphere is always fantastic: you can come as a couple, with friends, or even alone… and leave with new acquaintances. Here, you feel good, naturally. As for the food, a special mention goes to the egg cocotte with foie gras: the best I've ever eaten. The menu is always appealing, well-thought-out, and makes you want to come back again and again. All of this is supported by a wonderful, smiling, and welcoming team. A true place for living, sharing, and enjoying life. Long live Le Gai Pêcheur! ❤️🍷

25/01/2026: A cuisine that takes us on a journey between Africa and the Caribbean. A delightful array of flavors and spices. There's something for everyone, from mild dishes to those with a bit more spice. The chili sauce served on the side allows you to adjust the heat level to suit your taste. A warm and friendly welcome. The cocktails are excellent. Reservations are essential as the restaurant was full during our visit. We'll definitely be back.

18/01/2026: A fantastic experience for all ages! Défi Kart offers high-performance, safe karts on a well-designed track that's perfect for stress-free fun. The welcome is warm, the team is professional and provides excellent advice for both beginners and experienced drivers. The track is regularly maintained, and the thrills are guaranteed on every lap. Ideal for a family outing, a get-together with friends, or even a corporate event. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the experience. Definitely worth repeating!

28/01/2026: A rather disappointing experience: A pleasant setting with original decor and very friendly service, with attentive and smiling waitresses. However, the cuisine was very minimalist, the cooking was poorly executed, and the value for money was very poor: • €27 for a cassoulet served in a particularly small bowl, with half a Toulouse sausage, and very little meat overall. It tasted good nonetheless. • A very ordinary chocolate mousse, in a miniature glass ramekin, for €8-10. • The beef fillet was cooked "medium-rare," arriving initially "rare," then returning to the kitchen "well-done," or even "very well-done." In short: a bill of €55 for two courses and a dessert, without drinks (a €9 discount was included, given the cooking error), and very slow service due to the multiple trips back to the kitchen. One final drawback concerns access to the toilets: they are on the lower floor, accessible only by stairs, and my wife, who has a disability, had difficulty accessing them.

The only downside was the less-than-ideal temperature on the covered terrace today (and it wasn't even the coldest day of the year).

We dined with a large group, and they managed without any waiting between courses! The service is impeccable; the servers are typical of their region: welcoming and friendly! The dishes are succulent, and their cassoulet is simply the best I've ever tasted. If you're looking for regional specialties, don't hesitate; you won't be disappointed.

23/12/2025: Best kimchi ever! We stumbled upon this restaurant. You should make reservations. If you don’t then cross your fingers and hope they have space for you. We ordered the bibimbap. They cooked this so well, it was perfect. They have a house made hot sauce you must use, if you like spice 🔥🔥🔥! Sitting at the counter was a great experience. We chatted with one of the cooks and shared some humor. Thank you for making our visit so pleasant 😊 we can't wait to return when we visit Toulouse again.

07/01/2026: Sixta exceeded my expectations. I read the previous reviews and was excited to find a true vegan restaurant. I ordered, “velouté de carottes et lentilles vertes, granola salé gingembre, huile verte” as an entree. Without exaggeration this was the best meal that I have had during a two week holiday in France. Beyond the excellent food and the cozy atmosphere the staff were warm and welcoming. I highly recommended this to anyone who observing a vegan diet.
