18/05/2026: The hotel was clean and accessible, and the room was pleasant. However, the reception staff were unprofessional: no "hello," "thank you for your reservation," or any polite greetings. The upgrade was presented not as a courtesy, but "to make cleaning easier for the housekeeping staff," which came across as clumsy. The pool was open upon request (which was appreciated), but there were no facilities to place belongings, and chiggers were present on the floor. The real weak point: the €16.50 breakfast. The products were clearly not fresh (stale ham, crushed pickles, stale bread served again the next day (photo) and the day after that in the case of the ham). Very worrying! The ham was removed on Tuesday morning at my request. It was impossible to get a soft-boiled egg despite the egg cups on the buffet: "machine broken," and apparently there were no saucepans in the kitchen... but frying pans for fried eggs. Inconsistent. Many areas need improvement to live up to the advertised price and standard. Customer service is our priority, and the absolute priority is respecting basic hygiene rules for the buffet.

15/05/2026: I've finally rediscovered the Black Forest cake of my childhood! Everything is excellent, the cakes are finally generous, so delicious, a must-visit in Toulouse, the welcome is always friendly, thank you and please don't change a thing! One small negative point, however: a meal with friends, and a big disappointment, one of the waitresses was very unpleasant, very rushed, she really stressed us out during the meal! What a shame...

12/04/2026: Disappointing, if you can read! Looking at the chalkboard listing the origins of the meats: chicken from Poland, beef from the Netherlands, and so on, only the ground beef is French... You wonder if the side dishes aren't from the local supermarket... The welcome is, admittedly, friendly, but that's about it... Thanks for supporting our French farmers, but it's true that you only eat there for the price... From now on, I'm giving it a miss!

03/05/2026: I highly recommend this bar, which offers a wide selection of rums (JM, Nesson, Barbancourt, Clément, Trois Rivières, La Favorite, etc.), both white and aged, as well as all kinds of other spirits. Ideally located in the center of Toulouse (a stone's throw from Place du Capitole), this bar welcomed me for two years, sometimes alone but very often with friends and colleagues. I can only recommend it for the atmosphere, the helpfulness, the great friendliness, and the genuine warmth of the entire team of top-notch servers! And a special mention for "Uncle," the security guard, who is fantastic! Thank you for these two wonderful years, La Cale Sèche!

30/11/2025: We went to Cocagne for lunch with friends today for my birthday, and like every other time, it was perfect. A warm welcome, a delicious meal, and on top of that, the owner offered us a cake for dessert. What more could you ask for to have a wonderful birthday! The service is very pleasant, and the staff are attentive and smiling. The dishes are generous, delicious, and prepared with care; you can taste the quality of the ingredients. It's the perfect place to share a good meal with family in a relaxed atmosphere. We'll gladly return!
