10/03/2026: The establishment, although small, offers a dining room, two alcoves, and a small terrace; the daily menu is elaborate and generous, at reasonable prices; the cuisine: sophisticated and easy to digest, prepared with expertise (for connoisseurs: a platter of fine cheeses, offering a beautiful variety and quality). The decor is pleasant and original; the service: uniformed, jovial, convivial, and efficient; the furniture (banquettes) is comfortable.

31/03/2026: This is a place you absolutely must visit. The owner is fantastic, both in terms of hospitality and service, and the chef is just as wonderful in the kitchen.
A very warm welcome, friendly service, and excellent food.
I would definitely go back if I have the chance.

It's a very pleasant place to be, the manager is very kind. The terrace is fantastic in this little village which is well worth a visit.
24/02/2026: Lunch was eaten without a reservation. The welcome was charming and friendly. We chose the set menu, which was generous, well-cooked, and attractively presented. Excellent value for money!

Our lunch was a real treat!! The slow-cooked dishes made with farm-fresh produce were superb: the kid goat with an exquisite gratin, the charcuterie platters; the array of goat cheeses...bravo!! And on top of that, very professional and attentive service...A big thank you to the whole team...

This place has more than just charm; it has a real history that makes it authentic.
We highly recommend this magnificent estate.

Generous portions (local charcuterie and pâté, perfectly crispy potato pancakes, quality meat, plump and well-prepared frogs' legs, excellent fresh cheese, and desserts). A well-stocked wine list. Very friendly and attentive service. Suitable for children. Thank you for your hospitality.

Smell of tobacco. Hard rock music.
The room wasn't heated in December; we had to ask for a heater.
A table for two was very cramped for four people.
The service was adequate.
Being nice is all well and good, but it's not a profession.

27/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening at La Traverse. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. We had booked in advance, which I recommend as the dining room is small. During the meal, you are quickly enveloped by a delicious aroma of cheese – it's so pleasant. We were able to try the Fin Gras du Mézenc, and it was excellent!
