22/09/2025: L'Atelier is a great restaurant. The caillette preparation was fantastic, truly delicious. The daily special and dessert were also excellent. A place not to be missed!

07/07/2025: We came here for the first time during our vacation two years ago. The pizzas were way overcooked, the tops were black and inedible. We came back today thinking that maybe we had come here once when there were a lot of people, so maybe we had forgotten about the state of the pizza, but this time no, and the pizzas were in the same state. In the end, more than one pizza wasted, and because it was inedible. I really don't recommend it for pizzas anyway.

06/07/2025: Extremely disappointed, Carpaccio served frozen under the pretext that health officials recommend buying frozen carpaccio, but it was served frozen, tasteless and full of water. This is the response of a boss who pays little attention to his customers, sending his waitress to give such an answer!

26/01/2026: An arrogant boss or manager who likes to badmouth his customers at the checkout; it's just awkward when you're standing right there. Personally, I won't be eating there again; there are far better restaurants in Vars where you get friendly service.

26/01/2026: We hadn't even tasted the food yet and we already wanted to leave. We were a table of 15 who were going to order a lot, but that didn't stop the servers from being unpleasant. It wasn't possible to make even the smallest change to the burgers despite our allergies. The waitress's responses were curt. We didn't feel welcome at all. The sandwiches are truly excellent, fresh, and generous. In terms of value for money, I simply haven't found better in Serre Chevalier. Thank you and keep up the good work!

The meal was a true delight, with delicious dishes prepared with care and generosity. Everything was perfectly executed from start to finish. The atmosphere, the service, the quality of the food… absolutely nothing to criticize. If we weren't leaving the next day, we would have come for dinner every day. 12/09/2025: We stopped here after a long days trekking and we were a bit too early for most restaurants to be open. The owner/chef was very friendly and the pizza was fantastic. The pizza base is very light and crispy with the toppings generous and delicious.

21/08/2025: A pleasant spot surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent trout and grilled potatoes you'll never forget. If you opt for the meat menu, you won't be disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. In short, a place you'll love and want to return to.

18/08/2025: Run away. We arrived around 2 p.m. to buy trout retail, and the owner announced to us in a satisfied tone: "We'll take care of the restaurant, we don't sell fish before 3 p.m., you can wait." Obviously, we're disturbing, even at the end of the service. Of course, no credit cards; we don't want to make life too easy for the customer. Everything I hate about France: arrogance and disrespect for the customer.

11/12/2025: Whether it's busy or not, don't count on the staff's competence. One Happy Meal, but they forgot the book, forgot the fruit, no sauces, and forgot the chocolate topping on the McFlurry. If you're going to eat junk food, you might as well drive 40km to Burger King.

07/12/2025: A scandal. €42 for two. We ended up with a salad (three measly leaves topped with…nothing). The sandwiches were like toy food. So small I was looking for the toy because I was convinced I'd ordered a kids' meal. Luckily, I had a generous portion of eight fries… Seriously, either raise your prices or shrink your portions, but not both! I'm boycotting this chain from now on. And I advise you to do the same. That's the only way they'll get the message.

31/01/2026: The atmosphere is great, mainly because we were having a great time. The service, however, was extremely disappointing; we were asked to leave the restaurant so people could have lunch. It took an hour and a half to get the bill, during which time we couldn't order any more drinks. We finally left the restaurant dehydrated and crying. They can certainly carry huge trays, though. #impressed

28/01/2026: Unacceptable value for money, the mountain specialty: steak frites 😂 While taking my order, the waiter was rude, impatient, and made snide remarks. He asked me to choose from the menu every time, telling me it wasn't available. He told me to say so from the start (arrogance in every interaction). He told me to order four potatoes, and I'd manage. His response: "We can't, you should have told us." Enjoy watching one of the waiters jumping around! Too much snow in this resort? No refunds on meal vouchers, no small profit margin. Avoid at all costs.
