15/08/2026: A wonderful, warm welcome with a smile, generous portions of delicious homemade dishes that were out of the ordinary yet simple. And the desserts! Simply perfect and surprising! Lunch on the terrace with a magnificent view of La Meije. Highly recommended!
13/08/2026: An incredible restaurant, using only fresh, deliciously prepared ingredients, and a warm welcome. The desserts are wonderful, all homemade, and very reasonably priced.

Restaurant with local specialties and drinks, very nice dining room, excellent service from young Gabin, who also knows the products he serves and the local environment perfectly.
19/06/2026: We are a botany association. We stayed at La Baita du Loup for four days for a workshop. There were 15 of us. We will cherish very fond memories of our stay. We received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent and the rooms were superb. Thank you again, and we hope for a successful summer season. Pascale Gauchon.

03/07/2026: Large, quiet rooms and excellent cuisine with complete and balanced meals. Very friendly owners and staff. An excellent place to stay with a shaded swimming pool to relax in after hiking.

The rooms are super comfortable, the beds are amazing!
The staff is lovely!
The restaurant is very good; we tried both breakfast and dinner, and they were both excellent!
We didn't get a chance to try the pool, but it has a stunning view of the mountains—it looks fantastic!

14/02/2026: A sure bet, whether for lunch with its homemade cuisine or for the always excellent crêpe (salted caramel, my favorite) after a day of skiing. The icing on the cake is the friendly, cheerful, and attentive staff; it's always a pleasure to see Olivier and his team. Go without hesitation!

03/03/2026: The shop is very well stocked. The interior layout is cramped, especially when it's busy with ski rentals, but they can't exactly expand the space :)

22/08/2026: On August 13, 2026, we stopped at Auberge La Dormilhosa for a coffee break.
We received a wonderful welcome from the owner, who was warm and friendly.
The setting is beautiful, and the cappuccino and homemade blueberry tart were delicious.
We will definitely return and highly recommend this lovely inn.
17/08/2026: The owners are incredibly friendly and the home-style cooking is delicious (surprise menu). Reservations are essential. We managed with very little French or German spoken. Excellent regional wines. A truly unique and wonderful experience.

29/05/2026: We spent three days on a half-board basis with a group of 16 hikers.
Everything was perfect.
From the friendly welcome and attentive service, to the delicious and generous meals, the newly renovated rooms, and the hotel grounds with inviting sun loungers for relaxing after a hike.
So I highly recommend "Le Ban de l'Ours".

09/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alpage. It's very well located. The welcome was excellent, with staff taking great care of us. We felt very comfortable there. The common areas are spacious. We loved the mulled wine by the fireplace.
We ate very well. The breakfast was very generous. The spa in the evening after a day of skiing was a real bonus. We will definitely be back.
14/03/2026: A very cozy hotel, right at the foot of the slopes (5-minute walk) in Vars Sainte Marie, with charming managers and top-notch staff. The food is also flawless. Go for it!

The room was really clean, which is the most important thing. 👍 Beautiful mountain views and right at the foot of the slopes (30m away).
Breakfast could be improved, but if you've eaten at a restaurant the night before, you'll be full! 😅
The staff are really welcoming and friendly.
There's also a Sport 2000 shop 50m from the hotel. 👍

Excellent!! The vacherin was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere perfect. We highly recommend it and we will be back :)
