04/07/2025: Fantastic food, stuffed lamb was outstanding. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the gravy beautiful. The pizza was also great. Apple and rhubarb compote was amazing. All round a great restaurant.

Fabien and Amélie offer exceptionally high-quality cuisine, bordering on gourmet, with dishes bursting with flavor and creativity. Each visit is a true explosion in the mouth, a pure moment of pleasure. All this with incredible value for money in a warm, authentic setting, in the heart of a magnificent village nestled between mountains and nature. A must-see if you're in the area. And if you're a restaurant owner or looking to retrain, La Forge is a gem worth taking over: everything you need to succeed is there. A loyal clientele, a charming location, and above all, a soul. ❤️

14/02/2026: We've been coming back every year for almost 15 years. The atmosphere and food are top-notch, and the waiters are wonderful too. They even put on a little show for my wife's 71st birthday and our granddaughter's 10th. Thank you again for this lovely moment!

12/02/2026: Highly recommended! The service was fantastic – very friendly, fun, and with excellent English, which made the experience truly enjoyable. You immediately feel welcome. The food was also very good, all fresh and delicious. The burgers, in particular, are exceptional – creative, perfectly prepared, and truly something special. We'll definitely be back!

27/12/2025: Fantastic team (who kindly agreed to take us in a bit late even though the service had already ended), a perfectly balanced, intimate atmosphere, and a live musician who was just the right amount of music, which is rare. And above all, excellent food! The trout with parsnip purée was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented! The vegetarian burger was delicious. Absolutely flawless, we'll definitely be back!

03/02/2026: I stay at this hotel every year to go skiing in Serre-Chevalier, and it's always a real pleasure. The hotel is superb, very comfortable, and ideally located near the gondola lift. The private parking is a real bonus, the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it! 👍

18/10/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us, and this is our second visit. Once again, a flawless meal. The server is very kind, cheerful, and attentive. We love the spirit and soul of the place, as well as the traditional cuisine. For us, it's one of the best in the valley! We recommend it without hesitation and will return!

09/01/2026: At the ends of the earth, there's this exceptional inn... the decor is exquisite, the owner is incredibly friendly and has a real personality! It seems like everything is homemade... A wide selection of teas and herbal infusions in addition to beers on tap. We only stopped for afternoon tea, but we'll be back!

17/10/2025: A nice, rustic cabin in a beautiful location. The rooms are a bit dated. They could use some improvements here and there. The outdoor dining area, right by the street, is noisy. The food is good. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is adequate.

24/09/2025: For us it is always a pleasure to stop at the Napoleon refuge, I can no longer count the number of times we had a drink there while soaking up the scenery with the small lake and the Col de Vars.🏔️⛰️ In summer in 🏍️ or in winter snowshoeing at the Vars resort nearby.

06/02/2026: One of the few restaurants in the area with good food, generous portions, and friendly service. It is not a fine dining place, but the dishes are tasty and the place is cozy. Recomand!

25/05/2025: The welcome is very warm, the place magical and unique, surrounded by nature, overlooking the Durance Valley. The dishes are always original, from the region, with fresh and seasonal products. It's a true experience for the eyes and the taste buds. I highly recommend it.
