17/08/2026: We came to Verdun on a Monday for a visit and were lucky enough to find this restaurant open in the evening. An extraordinary restaurant: excellent homemade cuisine. Not to mention the very gracious owner and waitress. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

07/08/2026: Congratulations to the staff for the quality of service. Congratulations to the kitchen team; the dishes are delicious, the presentation is elegant and appetizing, and the food is flavorful. It's a shame that the same courtesy wasn't shown when paying. When you have the privilege of working with such high-quality professionals, you should at least be smiling. Everyone's personal problems should be left at the door when you're working.

21/08/2026: We're never going back!! The toilet seat doesn't close properly and you have to hold it open, even though you obviously want to be able to touch things in such disgusting public restrooms. Very small space. Not clean. The tap is so stiff it pinches your fingers; my daughter hurt herself. The soap is extremely diluted and therefore useless. The kitchen is visible from the toilets. Hygiene leaves much to be desired... the place wasn't fresh, it smelled rotten, and it was dirty. I shouldn't have ordered; just the smell alone... I should have listened to my gut and turned around, but the kids were hungry. What a disappointment! Now for the food: worthy of a Sodexo cafeteria, and even then... Milk in the bottom of the plate of carbonara pasta, barely cooked bacon, tasteless. Unpretentious. The Bolognese pasta: orange sauce with large chunks of carrots and meat, tasteless!! Three tons of pasta for four-year-olds! And hardly any sauce. The poor girl almost threw up! I took everything away. The pesto pasta: olive oil on pasta! No flavor, so greasy! And I love pesto and make excellent pesto. A jar of store-bought pesto is a thousand times better, lol. UNBELIEVABLE!! Yuck!!! We went to get sandwiches after that. 68 euros to go eat somewhere else... great! Five meals... five complete disasters. The plates were full before they cleared them, but they still charged us, of course. The woman came up to me and asked if there was something wrong with the two pesto dishes because we were so disgusted, and it showed on our faces. Disgusting. In short. We know that summer or winter we won't be going back, and we'll tell EVERYONE we meet not to go back!! Wake up, people... we're not animals!!!! A business is fine, but don't sell crap. When you're not good, you have to face the facts, lol!!! Cooking for others isn't something you can just wing!!! Do something else. Sell apples!!

21/08/2026: The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The service was quick and we had a very good meal. Special mention for the desserts, especially the tiramisu 😋. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

28/08/2026: Excellent experience. The waitress was smiling, discreet, yet efficient. The cuisine was generous and flavorful, with a choice between rustic and more refined dishes. We ordered tuna tartare, Italian tartare, and penne with lemon, parmesan, and zucchini. All three dishes were simply stunning: perfectly seasoned, expertly cut, and with more than generous portions. The view from the terrace is also a plus. Don't hesitate!

26/07/2026: I have been coming to this resort for 50 years and it is always a pleasure to stay here, summer and winter.

25/07/2026: Beautiful in summer, we hiked the Cape Verde trail, about 4.7 km. We had lunch on a terrace for a reasonable price, and we went tobogganing on the rails. And there were still tons of activities to do; the resort was packed. I'll be back!

24/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at Le Bouton d’Or. I ordered a Black Angus ribeye steak cooked rare. Unfortunately, it was served medium-rare, and given the state of the meat, I have serious doubts that it was actually Black Angus. The seared tuna was also very dry, far from what we expected. We also questioned the "homemade" nature of some of the dishes. Another disappointment came with the aperitif: we were served simple, mass-produced crackers on a plate. For a bill of around €90 for two people, for just two courses and two glasses of wine, we sincerely expected a higher standard of service. The only real positive was the presentation of the dishes, which was very attractive. Unfortunately, the taste and quality did not live up to the presentation. The service was also disastrous and made the experience even more unpleasant. When paying, I took the time to calmly express our disappointment. The person simply looked at me with a smile, without really taking my comment into account. We then left without even a "thank you" or a "goodbye." For nearly €90, we left with a real sense of disappointment and a price-quality ratio that, in our opinion, was absolutely not there. Unfortunately, we will not be repeating the experience. 21/08/2026: Les Boutons d’Or is one of those restaurants that restores faith in traditional bistro cuisine. An excellent culinary experience in an elegant setting with a chef who took the time to explain his background and share recipe tips. Don't hesitate to visit this restaurant.

24/08/2026: Great experience! I had a truly delicious tomahawk, well-prepared and accompanied by an excellent sauce. To finish, the blueberry pie was a must-try. The owner is definitely an added bonus: very kind, attentive, and helpful. She also speaks Italian and made me feel at ease right away. Attentive service, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent cuisine. Highly recommended, I'd gladly return!

22/08/2026: We went there last night to end our stay. On the menu: mountain burger, duck breast with blueberries, fondue, raclette, and "donkey ears" (a type of pastry). Everything was absolutely delicious. The raclette and fondue are served for one person, which I think is fantastic because most restaurants only offer these dishes for two or more. The desserts not only looked amazing but were also perfect. Not to mention the impeccable service from the waitress, who was incredibly attentive, welcoming, kind, and always smiling. In short, it's wonderful to still find establishments that are flawless in every way. Go without hesitation! Thank you for this wonderful evening, Le 34, and all the best. We'll definitely be back.

09/08/2026: A very warm welcome, always so friendly. The cuisine is varied and delicious, including mountain specialties, and all at a very reasonable price. The ingredients used are local and artisanal. The atmosphere is pleasant in a typical Queyras setting. The service is quick and always with a smile and kindness. You can go to Jamberoute without hesitation.

08/08/2026: As usual, this restaurant ticks all the boxes. Warm welcome, varied cuisine with excellent mountain specialties, generous portions, attentive service... The fondue au fontu was another delight. We'll never tire of it.

16/08/2026: We've been coming to L'Étable de Serre Chevalier restaurant in Chantemerle for many years, and despite the change of ownership, the welcome and service remain top-notch! The dishes are generous and particularly delicious. A loyal customer that always lives up to our expectations. I recommend this establishment 100%!
