14/03/2026: High-altitude location with a magnificent view. The accommodations are very nice and functional, apart from a cramped shower cubicle. There's a lovely terrace for relaxing in the sun. We were worried about being a bit far from the slopes, but a free and frequent shuttle bus gets you there in 7 minutes. Unfortunately, the ice rink was closed, and there was no swimming pool. The village of Ceillac is small and very picturesque, with a shop for groceries and other essentials. For everything else, you have to go to Guillestre (25 minutes). A wonderful holiday if you like small resorts.

26/08/2026: An excellent place! Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the dessert. The cuisine was delicious and refined, the ingredients were high quality, and the service was impeccable. The setting is very pleasant and the atmosphere warm. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return. I highly recommend it!

19/08/2026: Great! We had a lovely romantic dinner over a delicious fondue. The restaurant is well located, and the owner (I think) is very welcoming and attentive. The only slight downside is that the youngest waitress is constantly being pressured, which customers don't need to see, especially since she's always running around.

06/06/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with top-notch service. The waitress was very friendly and kind, and the food was amazing! I had the ribeye steak, and it was delicious! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I highly recommend it. A nice touch: the chef came to greet us, which was very kind.

28/05/2026: A pleasant surprise! It was a work lunch, so I let myself be guided to Basta... I don't eat much red meat because I'm picky, but the flank steak was delicious. Generous portions. Friendly service. I recommend it.

24/07/2026: We came here three times during our holiday, which says it all! It's a simple, cozy mountain bar and restaurant—perfect for a burger, a beer after hiking, or a relaxed meal with family. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved the ravioli and the burgers, the prices are reasonable, and the mountain views are beautiful. Highly recommended—we'll definitely be back

07/08/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent meals. The polenta is superb! A lovely break after the hike. No credit cards accepted.

04/08/2026: Arrived just after meal service, like 2:30pm. They weren’t serving anything warm anymore. Understandable if you’re used to European dining norms but disappointing nonetheless. They did have sandwiches to purchase although these were very basic and simple. The staff spoke French, English and Italian however surprisingly as it is in France, the staff seemed like they were mostly Italian. Beautiful valley to be in. Very very nice. Rough road to drive in on. Go slow and watch the potholes. Beautiful setting.

29/04/2026: Our absolute favorite place to stay in Serre-Chevalier! We've been coming back every winter for several years now, and the welcome is always impeccable. Regular guests are truly pampered; a little something for my birthday awaits us in our room each time—it's so sweet. The breakfasts are excellent, the dinners very good, and the extras make all the difference: afternoon tea, swimming pool, sauna, and a very enjoyable weekly guitar concert. The family rooms are perfect for a ski holiday. We wouldn't change it for the world!

23/07/2026: The kitchen is mouthwatering good. Delicious bread and ice-cream with home made cream too !

27/02/2026: Excellent, comforting meal after days of hiking in the mountains! Generous and tasty food, you feel right at home! And the view is spectacular.

10/04/2026: It's a shame they don't accept restaurant cards or holiday vouchers… Will they only accept cash soon? The place is really nice though.

10/04/2026: A truly top-notch restaurant! The service, the food! (The tartiflette and mountain burger were amazing!). We came every day of the week, whether for a quick bite, a crêpe, or just a drink 😝. As a bonus, the panoramic view is incredible, and with the sun shining, it's a fantastic combination!

16/08/2026: The food is good, but simple. The menu doesn't change. The atmosphere is pleasant; the decor is a bit dated, but it has its charm.

27/08/2026: Unfriendly owner. As a cyclist, you're lucky to get served at all, because he apparently doesn't make enough money selling drinks at the bar alone. He directs you to the restroom to refill your water bottle and then makes you wait five minutes. When you ask how much it costs, he tells you he's serving other customers who arrived after you. He should find another place that isn't located on the access road to the Izoard, if only because he's clearly never cycled to his bar himself to understand the needs of a significant portion of his clientele.

07/08/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't like the dishes. Nothing truly typical, but rather inventions of questionable taste. What a shame!

03/08/2026: A charming restaurant perfectly nestled in the magnificent setting of the fairytale Alpine village of Vallouise. Polite and attentive service. The food was delicious and traditional. Probably the best traditional French dinner we enjoyed during our vacation. Reasonable prices. Excellent experience.

14/08/2026: The waiters were very kind and helpful. The Savoyard fondue was excellent. Reservations are recommended during high season.

07/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, delicious food and top-notch service. Clean and comfortable guesthouse. Very friendly staff. In the heart of the village of La Grave, at the foot of La Meije. A fascinating mountain. Hiking in an exceptional setting.

22/07/2026: Our second visit to this Indian restaurant during our vacation in Gap, for the second year in a row… and we loved it just as much as before! Everything is there for a wonderful experience: a warm welcome, attentive service, and delicious, fragrant, and very generous portions. Every bite is a true journey to India. The tasteful decor and ambient music immediately immerse you in a warm and exotic atmosphere. You feel truly at ease. A must-visit that we wholeheartedly recommend. It has become a highlight of our vacation, and we will be back with immense pleasure next year!
