15/05/2026: I discovered Le Vieux Bourg in Bourg-la-Reine and was honestly a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, truly capturing the spirit of a neighborhood brasserie where you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The staff is welcoming and smiling, and the service is efficient. The dishes are generous and well-prepared, with a special mention for the meats and the traditional Southwestern specialties. The terrace is lovely, the atmosphere is great, and the value for money is very reasonable. A really cool place to spend a great time with friends or family, with a truly authentic atmosphere that's becoming increasingly rare. I highly recommend it! 👍

26/04/2026: The pizza was absolutely delicious with a great crispy crust. I'm surprised it was empty; the place was clean and welcoming. The cook, whom I believe is the owner, was dressed very professionally, so I imagine the food must be just as well-groomed. A great neighborhood restaurant; I highly recommend it.

05/05/2026: Lunch on the terrace in the shade of the trees; the terrace is quiet and very pleasant. The pâté to share was very good. The duck breast was cooked perfectly. The rhubarb crumble of the day was delicious. The service was friendly and very efficient.

05/05/2026: On a Saturday afternoon, we arrived for lunch at La Tête Noire restaurant in Marnes-la-Coquette. Service was prompt, and we were among the first to order. The quality of the food was quite average, more in keeping with the standards of a brasserie/bistro with constant service. Small scallops, simply fried, with a plain, unimaginative mashed potatoes. Eggplant with ham on top. The elevated atmosphere of the dining room, the table setting, the staff's ceremonious manner, and the abundance of decorations raised expectations of fine cuisine, but the reality turned out to be a simple brasserie. It's important to note that this is the only "restaurant" in the area. Perhaps there's not enough competition. It could be better!

04/04/2026: The pizzas are excellent, made with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and prepared right in front of you, all very quickly. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is simple and authentic. A great find!

21/05/2026: I came alone for tea and was touched by Momoub's welcome. His kindness, attentiveness, and warmth made the experience truly enjoyable. The setting is cozy, the selection of Dammann teas and herbal infusions is excellent, but it was above all the genuine warmth of his hospitality that impressed me. A huge thank you to him for his kindness!

15/03/2026: I discovered this place during a special "concert" evening. It's primarily a tea room, occasionally a restaurant, but it's quite unusual and atypical. However, I was disappointed by the very cramped tables and customers, crammed into such a small space. There was no menu, no prices listed. The surprise, once I arrived, was that there was a set menu, which hadn't been mentioned beforehand. Even though the food was good, it was very home-style, and 35 euros was excessive. A bottle of generic, poor-quality red wine cost 25 euros. The servers were friendly, but it quickly became apparent that they weren't prepared to handle so many people and were overwhelmed. The service was very slow. The concert was fantastic, so I still had a good evening. But I won't be returning to this tea room, except perhaps to drink... a cup of tea!

10/05/2026: I celebrated my 60th birthday last night, there were about twenty of us, it was wonderful! The team was fantastic, so attentive, we were truly spoiled by the service, the meal was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, we had a section of the restaurant to ourselves, a magnificent table... a huge thank you to Ourika!

17/04/2026: A tagine served without bread; I had to ask for it, only to receive day-old bread 20 minutes later, heated in the oven at the entrance. The tagine is supposed to cost €19, then they charged €25. There's nothing Moroccan about it except the pretty decor and the €3 tea. I will never, ever go back.

14/06/2026: This is an unprecedented value for money. The owner is present for every service, the staff is always consistent, the quality and freshness of the dishes are undeniable, the setting is perfect, the service is quick and friendly. I would say it's almost flawless, especially for the price. Bravo! I visited again on June 13th, 2026, and everything was perfect. The staff is exceptional, and I even wonder if the presentation of the dishes has improved. Bravo!

10/06/2026: The meal was good. The dessert of the day was apple tart; I was a little disappointed with the tart.

23/04/2026: So, I ordered two noisettes from a nice waitress. The noisettes have already been served incorrectly twice. We asked for two perfectly white noisettes, and it was practically two espressos; you couldn't even see the milk. I went to ask the manager for a pitcher of milk. He asked me what was going on. I explained. I told him I didn't have to pay for the pitcher, or else he would add milk and take some coffee away. The waiter preparing the noisettes yelled at me and said there wasn't time... I told him that before coming here, I was downstairs on the other terrace waiting, and nobody told us they weren't serving downstairs. I waited with other people. There was a young woman, and at another table, some elderly people were waiting. The waiter making the noisettes yelled again. So I went back to the terrace. The manager came over and told me they were very busy and couldn't serve me two perfectly white noisettes. We told him it was just a few seconds longer. He replied no and left. We paid anyway. The service was truly awful, and the manager gave us a dirty look as he went to attend to the other customers on the terrace. He saw us smoking and didn't have an ashtray... The service was apathetic, disrespectful, nothing.
