03/04/2026: On our way to the French Alps, we stayed a night in La Tour-du-Pin. For dinner, we quickly found our way to Restaurant Le Bec Fin. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Both my 'Menu Ardoise' at €23.50 (3 courses!) and my partner's menu (Formule Carte, €34.50) proved to be very good choices. The starters, main courses, and dessert were not only very tasty but were also beautifully presented. A delicious bottle of Pouilly Fumé (Les Riaux, Vivino 3.9) completed the picture. Highly recommended!

07/03/2026: The food is excellent, as usual. However, we were unpleasantly surprised by the welcome we received; the waitress was neither smiling nor welcoming. We were very disappointed by this, especially since we are regular customers. The manager, however, remains true to herself, kind and welcoming, but be wary of the staff she hires.

28/03/2026: A good restaurant with home-style cooking. There's plenty of seating. It's well-located, close to the train station, and offers continuous service. I was slightly less keen on the crispy chicken with herb sauce, which was a bit too acidic for my taste. The ravioli, however, were exquisite; the pasta seemed homemade, and the filling was good. The portions were decent, and it was good value for money.

31/03/2026: THE WAITER LICKED THE SPOON BEFORE SERVING THE PASTA I was waiting in line to order when I saw the waiter turn around and lick the spoon before serving the person in front of me with the same spoon. So, of course, I left.
