11/10/2024: I have known this address for over 20 years. The boss is a wonderful person, full of empathy, she is the very embodiment of kindness and the walls are covered with her paintings. Its Lebanese cuisine is excellent and authentic. Flavors, colors… everything is there to make you have a wonderful time. Take the plunge into this restaurant and let yourself be carried away by all this Lebanese charm.
29/09/2024: First experience of Lebanese cuisine. The menu containing the 7 dishes is very generous and of very good quality, everything was excellent!
The manager is very kind, smiling and committed to helping her customers discover her cuisine. She took the time to explain to us what was in each dish!
I recommend, it was perfect!

20/10/2024: Direttamente sul lago di Paladru, in posizione ottima per godere di un pasto sulle rive. Menù vario, senza scelte eccessive ma con prezzi decisamente ragionevoli. Decisamente consigliato sia per un pasto informale che per un'occasione in zona.
30/09/2024: Very beautiful view of the lake, friendly restaurant, with good cuisine.
Only downside: as the restaurant was full, with everyone's discussions and the high ceiling, it resonated and quickly got noisy.
Otherwise everything was good! But remember to book if you go there on the weekend!

le menu avec les filets de bar manque un peu en produit
6 euros les desserts un peu cher, le service c'est un apprenti qui manque de peps

Indeed, this little detour is totally worth it!
The boss and his team are very welcoming, attentive and provide excellent advice to help you discover authentic and tasty cuisine, prepared with local products, especially which will remind us of traditional gourmet cuisine.
All for a very reasonable price.

Nous avons dîner pour une soirée croziflette a volonté avec charcuterie qui était très bonne !
Service rapide, cuisine très bonne et serveuse qui se démène pour que nous soyons satisfaits, ça fait vraiment plaisir!
Prix corrects, je recommande !
20/11/2023: Lieu simple mais accueillant et très bonne cuisine. On y reviendra quand on sera dans la région. Bonne adresse pour le rapport qualité prix.

Unfortunately I did not find the dishes and the service up to the standard of a gourmet restaurant even though that is the ambition displayed on their website.
The background music was also not to my taste (a sort of generic low vocals looped throughout the meal)
The price remains reasonable for the quality of the food, and the vegetarian options are of good quality.
23/06/2024: We came to eat at this restaurant twice and we loved the experience each time. Each dish is a culinary experience, we feel like we are traveling with every bite. We recommend this restaurant!!!!

15/09/2024: Déjà merci pour être ouvert le dimanche. Les plats sont qualitatifs, les saveurs sont là . Rien à dire. On choisit son repas et ses boissons sur une tablette. Soit. C'est ludique !!
Un bémol cependant pour notre table de deux. Nous avons hérité de l'espace le plus exiguë de l'étage.

Too long. We had been waiting for dessert for over 30 minutes, but the cook and a waitress were having a glass of wine behind the bar...
Slightly expensive price for the sophistication of certain dishes
20/08/2024: For three years already, I have recharged my batteries, summer and winter, in Oisans, traveling its hiking trails, hitting its ski slopes, and frequenting its hotels and restaurants.
As everywhere else in France, the offer in terms of hostels and restaurants is of uneven quality, often good, sometimes mediocre... But none, in my opinion, is up to the level of that offered by the Auberge de la Forêt, where I had the chance to stay for a few days this summer.
It's quite simple: I simply can't find anything to criticize about this establishment! The cuisine is exquisite, the welcome charming and the service impeccable. As for the room I occupied, words fail me: clean as a penny, refined, comfortable, enchanting... It was all that, and much more: perfection itself!
In short, I do not recommend; I prescribe!

30/07/2024: Very disappointing well below its reputation. Maybe we came across a bad evening menu... The dishes are well presented but not gourmet. We didn't find any flavors on the palate; overcooked fish and veal in dry foil 😕. Price too expensive for what we got...
