22/06/2026: A magical restaurant with a beautiful view. The waiters were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to please everyone. A word of advice to our guests: remember to bring a sweater or avoid sitting by the open window so they can close it and bother other customers, like us, who are enjoying it. Even though they were rushing around, the waiters moved us outside... Thank you to the chefs for the delicious dishes and the aperitif. Thank you for the beautiful and touching platter for our first wedding anniversary.

10/06/2026: I'm giving it 4 stars because the reception was a bit cold but acceptable. The building is new, opening in 2024 if I understood correctly. Overall, it's pleasant and the room was nice. It has a view of the lake and a private beach. There's a restaurant on the first floor, also with a lake view. It's independent of the hotel. The food is very good and the service is excellent.

01/10/2026: Very good kebab! However, the prices displayed are not up-to-date; they are not hidden, which is not transparent, and the already high prices become excessive! Admittedly, it's good, but it's more than 50% more expensive than in Grenoble itself! It's a shame, I was an occasional but still regular customer, and I won't be going back.

29/09/2026: In 10 years in Toulouse, I've never had such an experience in a restaurant. This is the third time I've been there with friends who come especially to visit me from abroad. The welcome was so unpleasant; we felt completely unwelcome. The two previous times were already borderline, but this time I'm speechless. A waitress handed us the menus without a word, without a smile, without even a greeting. The other two behind their kitchen and counter... I won't even go there. This time was the last straw. The whole time, we felt so unwelcome and stared at, with sighs of negativity when we asked for something, impatience, rolling eyes, closed stares, and contempt. Girl, you really need to choose a different career path with no human contact. I'm a chef, and I can tell you I would be ashamed to behave like that with my customers. In short, it was simply the last time for me at Sherpa. A horrible experience. We're almost afraid to eat for fear that someone might have spat in our food.

22/06/2026: After having lunch, which was very pleasant, with fast service and a varied menu, I tried the afternoon snack: generous ice cream with a wide selection of flavors. I recommend it.

25/08/2026: What a shame that such a lovely place, ideally located at the foot of the slopes, is marred by such poor service. My husband and I stopped by simply for a snack and to enjoy the surroundings. Unfortunately, we were greeted in an extremely cold and unpleasant manner: no smiles, no friendliness, our order practically placed in front of us as if we were intruding. The waffle was served on a small plate, without cutlery, with just a napkin. The coffee was really not good either. As for the prices, we paid €11 for a coffee, a waffle with jam, and a small bottle of Cristaline water, which cost €3. Beyond the price, it was the attitude that disappointed us most. When you run an establishment in such a touristy and beautiful location as Alpe d'Huez, a minimum of smiles, politeness, and consideration for customers seems essential. I prefer not to draw any conclusions about why we were received in this way, but the contrast between this beautiful place and the attitude of the person who served us is truly regrettable. A very bad experience for us, and we will not be returning. And we certainly do not recommend it!

18/08/2026: A nice place where we just had a drink. Friendly and warm welcome. An ideal spot for a drink after a downhill run on a tricycle...or mountain bike.

29/06/2026: First time at this restaurant, which seemed like a good place given its average rating (4.2). Unfortunately, during the lunch service, there was a very long wait (50 minutes between ordering and receiving our food) because all the other tables had ordered just before we arrived. Around us, only 4 or 5 tables had been served. We were told that the daily special was no longer available. Ten minutes after ordering, the table next to us, which had just arrived, was offered the daily specials, which were finally available. The food was decent, however, and the location was easy to access. It's a shame.

22/06/2026: Traditional and generous cuisine, cozy atmosphere, lovely terrace and intimate interior space. I recommend it.

05/09/2026: My name is Elyan and I often come to this fast-food restaurant and frankly I highly recommend it. The restaurant is clean, the food is delicious, the prices are affordable, and the service is great.

03/02/2026: The service is fast (tacos ready in 10 minutes after ordering). The missing stars are for the following reason: the two tacos we received were not what we ordered. We ordered two chicken tenders with Algerian sauce and salad with tomatoes and onions, and we received two ground beef tacos with white sauce and no salad... Furthermore, the tacos themselves were underwhelming: the tortilla was soggy, neither crispy nor golden.

21/10/2026: We had a really good time at Le Boucanier. The staff is very kind and attentive, without being intrusive. The menu offers a good selection, and we opted for the fondue: excellent and with generous portions! A pleasant place to eat well and feel at ease.

14/09/2026: The raclette was perfect; the charcuterie wasn't. However, I'll come back because the owners are very friendly and the service is continuous :)

26/10/2026: Arrived at 7:30 PM, served around 8:30 PM. Finished at 11:00 PM, after an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The main course was really mediocre, even bad; the lemon tart was stale. I ordered a pizza with Ndjuna cheese, which consisted of three 2-cm slices and a pile of eggplant—it was basically a cover-up. The salmon tartare was supposed to be magnificent, but the salmon was tasteless. A basic fish with a very pronounced flavor was completely devoid of it. The price is much higher, even compared to Lyon, and the quality is catastrophic. PS: Yes, nothing seems to go right for me. Your excuse about your quaint establishment is unacceptable. Furthermore, we were offered rancid pie, and yes, nothing is right when it's crap, well, it's crap. When I go to good establishments, it's not like your quaint bars that think they're restaurants, even though the quality is such that I wouldn't give it to a dog, let alone a human. And besides, a bar that makes cocktails with 1% alcohol and 99% soft drinks, I find that just pathetic. Do you need to save money?

25/10/2026: I was served a carbonara with a burnt sauce, inedible, then they refused to make it again and ignored me. It wasn't like they were short on time; there were barely 10 of us in the restaurant. But I understand why. Finally, a young waiter took charge. The manager was inattentive, dishonest, and unpleasant. According to him, there was nothing wrong, even though the two dishes were completely different. He claimed I didn't know what a carbonara was... Avoid this place... They need to review the basics of the profession.

13/09/2026: Grandma's cooking, perfect for big eaters, a café-counter atmosphere... the comments from the older folks always make us laugh 😉, and for a good price of €22 all-inclusive, you won't leave hungry. It's a novelty, worth a try.
